I apologize if I missed this in the video but what was your reasoning for replacing these? I’ve heard replacing these are a common fix for gen 3 folks with a rough/unsteady idle at random times which I do currently have Thanks!
@@Monalisaperformance finally coming around to doing this! Did you replace the valve cover gasket because it was damaged or because you were already in there doing the work?
@runescapefan304 I replaced them because I was already there. Some people typically leave them on if you didn’t have any leaks prior hope that helps. Thanks.
The part # is the same for both solenoids? Got kinda blurry when you showed the second one. And if so, I would just need 4 of that same part? And do you think if I just supply those solenoids and valve cover gaskets, a reputable mechanic would be able to do the job? Just really don’t wanna take it to the dealer, sorry for so many questions lol
The 2019s have 4 solenoids. 2 & 2 (they're different). Yes any mechanic can do it. It's not a hard job. Just time consuming. Im doing it today (I mistakenly thought it was just 1 on each side. So I'm going back in to do all 4)
nice!
One of the only videos showing the removal of the passenger side ! 🙏🏼
Nice video love the quality🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hey whatsup the reason for changing is,
it was having rough idle. Helped the problem try to change your oil on time to prevent them from failing.
