Addison is just growing too fast. I can't believe next year she will be in High School!!! So really trying to cherish the time when I can take the girls out. And Rosalie turns 4 in December. I still remember 4 very well.

As a kid I did so many things and I still remember each one like it was yesterday. Just hoping to give that opportunity for our kids to have that. We love zoo's, but I swear Zoo's and Museums are so hard to edit - so many things there.

Loving the opening shot! Might have to do that! We love this zoo, we went pre-Jude and Jonah fell in love! Love the daddy, daughter days! So sweet! Rosalie looked like she had a blast! So cute! We loved the seals too. We wonder always use the map but wonder around anyway. Jonah is like Rosalie- all the animals are always drawn to him. They must sense how sweet she is! Great vlog! 💕❤️
I have been excited to give that letter reveal effect for awhile. Took a lot of time but totally worth it in my opinion. Can't wait to see yours. For us we open the map look at it, put it away and never open it again 😂. These kids are just too cute for sure!!!!
It's so important to create memories with our kids. Minor all grown now. And sometimes it surprises me the fond memories they have of a place. Because they acted like they weren't into it at the time. But yet 15 years later they talk about it all the time
How old are your kids now? I wish I had these type of home videos when I was a kid. I was the same way, I was too cool for school when it was happening. But now it's the memories that stand out the most.

This is a really fun zoo and glad I took my little one there!!! It's great that it is free. But there is a fee for parking - just like everything in Chicago.

Lincoln Park Zoo is one of our favorite things to do during the fall. Glad you're doing daddy-daughter day. They do grow up fast. It's always cool to see Rosalie so engaged. Ohhh man those views at 2:50 are everything!
Rosalie and I had a great time. The Tiger and Lion house was closed as it was being remodeled. It just opened last week and looks so nice.

I don't know why I don't go here more often. Finally went to your free Zoo in St. Louis this summer!!! Rosalie is a riot every time I give her the camera. She needs a shirt that says Vlogger in training.
We kinda explore slowly a bit randomly, but always keeping a map for later go to the specific places we want. 😉
When we do it we pass the same spot at least 6 times. We get to everything we want but not the most efficient way.

Lincoln park zoo is a fun place for the family for sure. They have changed so much since I was a little kid.

Chicago and Free usually don't go together. Yea, we are trying to do as much because it flies. Hopefully we'll have Addison for a few more years before she is too old for our wacky adventures. We open up the map in the beginning with good intentions and then just wander also. So impressed with those who has a spreadsheet when they go to places.

These little girls just grow up so fast. Feels like yesterday Addie was just Rosalie's age. So making the most of the time now. And we are also older parents, so while we are young and vibrant, trying to show them the world. Totally worth checking out - especially since it is free. Too bad we weren't able to connect last weekend but I'm sure we will another time.

I know right. And your little girl is not so little any more - compared to when I first started watching your channel. Always find it fun to find those who photo bomb the vlog - all in good fun. It was so weird to be recognized in public considering that guy was from a different state. Rosalie just loves her animals.

As you know, free is the best when you have a family. Every kid loves the train and glad we can do our first ever daddy/daughter day. Still trying to do it with my oldest as long as I can!

Wow, didn't realize you have been here before. Most people go to Brookfield Zoo. Rosalie will be a natural when she decides to have her own channel. I just remember how short the time is with my brother and sister joining my mom and dad in their adventures. So I'm making the most of it now!!!!

This was actually probably only my 3rd or 4th. Usually we are at Brookfield Zoo. I think this zoo is underrated and they have made so many improvements since I was a kid. And the new Lion exhibit just opened yesterday. It was still under construction when we went.

This was Rosalie and I's first Daddy/Daughter day. She is already asking when the next one will be. The other zoo by our area isn't free but it doesn't mean they don't have hidden cost also. Kinda expect here in Chicago area. Rosalie is a very independent little girl for sure. With the air show, we got through the exhibit a lot faster. Thanks for watching ladies.

I was literally going to IG you a message about this video. I called this the Karen Luuk masking. Was the first video I watched from you. I made the mistake of doing it to 3 long words. I had 8 points and moved it frame for frame. Took about 2 1/2 hours but I was happy how it turned out.
Well, you did a fabulous job. I remember doing that masking in that video you are talking about. Yes, it takes a few hours the first time but it will be so much quicker the next time. Keep it up, Carl!!

What a fun daddy / daughter day at the zoo! We love zoos and were just at one last weekend. We are definitely map people at zoos and theme parks at least until we become familiar with them. We usually have a plan in place to prioritize what we most want to do and see. But it can be freeing to just go with the flow and find things as you come to them too. Thanks for showing us around Lincoln Park Zoo!

I remember you saying you met that dude. It was on the road trip to Cleveland wasn't it? RMm thought those small otters swimming were cats haha! So I know the St Louis zoo is another free one! Wonder where the others are. Rosalie is about ready to do Addison's outro... that "notification" word is still a little tough though! Thanks for bringing us on this adventure. I got to watch this one with the kids so it was extra fun!
This was the first daddy/daughter day for Rosalie and I and we had a blast. She even asked when the next one was. Rosalie talks a lot but not so easy to understand if you are not use to hearing her. Folks video bombing our channel cracks me all the time. Yea, Chris was the guy we met heading to Cleveland right before the Hot Dog Bun museum. We went to the St. Louis Zoo a couple months ago and still need to edit that video. In St. Louis, everything seems to be free. We went to see the World's Largest Chess Piece and also Chess Hall of Fame - free also. Rosalie did great on her debut. Thanks for watching it with your kids.

Free zoos are the best. The other zoo is great also but it's like paying for Disney Land. Exactly, even if no one watched our videos, we would still have great family home videos to look back on.

Since I was a kid they really have modernized it. Last week they just reopened the Tiger and Lion Exhibit.

We also love the zoo! Great views of the Chicago skyline from there. We also really like Giraffe's - almost everyone in my family has a giraffe statue of some sort in our places.
Growing up it was all about the elephants. Zoo's are great and Rosalie loves learning about each of those animals. Chicago is really a very pretty City!!!!
