Games are getting so complex with so many nuances these days. You need to take an entire course just to learn how to play. I remember Age of Empires wasn't this hard.
Thank you man I’m starting to love these kind of games because of you and I only know this one and bannerlord 2, now I’m searching for a game that is like bannerlord’s story mode but online like building a kingdom with my friends and starting from scratch and making alliances with friends too!! also to participate in battles I don’t like watching only. So if you have any suggestions for a game like that please let us know 🙌🏻. Thank you again for your gorgeous content ❤
If you're looking for a super immersive medieval game that you can play with friends, there are afew good ones that I've tried: Medieval Dynasty is a co-op game where you build up a town. More building based than combat. Mortal Online 2 is an sandbox MMO with full loot pvp, where you can build towns, and join guilds with friends. its very combat focused and takes a huge time investment + is a subscription game, so not for everyone. Only other game with really good immersive medieval story would be kingdom come deliverance, but is single player.
I keep getting burned down. I get about 13 families and then get wrecked!!! How do I fight them off? Just the spearman? Do you have a video on early attacks like this?
I feel like the true first step for beginners should have been this, draw out some roads first and place your building around them. I fired up a game for the first time and was randomly placing buildings around and trying to connect them with roads…my town looks so chaotic
It's fairly difficult in the early going. Food is a scarcity. My mistake was building a farm house and a field. Only to find out that it's going to be over 80 days before I can harvest it when I've only got 2 months before food runs out. And then berry gathering didn't go well either. Simply because I ran out of people to be assigned tasks and didn't realize I could prioritize the forager hut over other projects. Priority is food to starting out, then timber. All the mining could wait. I made that mistake as well. Now I'm working on trade. Ugh.....
I'm only 9 hours into this game and I can say I really appreciate your explanation of how to use the Trading Post.

Yes, but in my opinion this has had a better affect on games because it deepens the immersion.
@@ivanrusev5008 true, i took the time to learn and playing it has been more rewarding.
Skill issue, both the 90s and all the way to today have been the same process of learning.
It's called git gud
Not really, just play, learn, fail, learn more, git gud, repeat
thats the point, this is age of empires plus. Imagine having to micro manage every building in age of empires.
Just bought this game. Coming from Age of Empires 2, so very excited to play and learn 😊
You forgot one of the most important things. Increasing the number of families.
Best intro vid I’ve seen

A truly superb game
Great tips, thanks!
Criminally under-viewed video.

That is what is cool. It’s kinda realistic 😊
I never had enough family’s to do anything lmao
Man you talk fast
