- We played Block Tales, which is a multiplayer turn based RPG inspired by Paper Mario 64 and Earthbound, and it's one of the best games we've played on Roblox recently, it's in it's first demo and is playable on PC, mobile, and console. I highly recommend checking it out.

The fact they all put on hard mode right as they got to Sentient Statue, and won. Now all they got to do is the pit.
We did actually do some of the pit in hard mode before Ice king, I had to cut it for video time, but we reached about floor 16-17.

I love how much inspiration they took from EarthBound. Dose the rolling health neater feel less op to anyone else? It’s probably just because it’s early-game though.
I beated the entire demo and I think:there will be attack that says “screw you we don’t roll health now we instead insta kill you”

i dont play roblox but this is the coolest thing i've seen come out of it tbh. it accomplishes what it set out to be so well and i can't get over how much personality it has... the animations are such a treat to watch. very epic very cool.......

I just wish the enemy designs were a bit more interesting. The huge draw of Earthbound and Paper Mario were their whacky characters and enemy designs. The enemies here are mostly... knights and animals. Like, just animals, nothing colorful or funny about them aside from the names.
Part of me kind of hopes many of them are just placeholders for better enemy designs.
The music is banger too

I just realized, the creators of this game are also the creators of shadovis rpg which is a really, REALLY cool rpg i would recommend to anyone
Also the other devs that contributed are not ones that i rlly expected. For instance, nicopatty (nico’s nextbots creator)
some of the devs also worked in rolve, which is a group that created arsenal, the game that makes good events whenever they’re in events like the hunt or the classic
I played through the entire demo in one sitting because of how addicting it was, it’s really amazing.
But I absolutely hate the sentient statues.

12:18 did you know there’s a sword toss at the beginning of the game you can get the sword toss card once you get the sword
Sword toss allows you to hit flying enemies and can select which enemy to hit normal sword attack forces you to attack the enemy in the front

As som one who has like 12 hours into this game. I love it took me like 3-4 hours to beat it i have beatin the pit. Found all secrets all bux all cards that ain't from the shops but i haven't beatin hard mode. So yeah good game and goodbye.
I beat the demo, and I gotta say I’m excited for when the first update comes out and I can keep ballin on the enemies

this game was actually really fun when i played it! and not to mention that its in it's first demo, can't wait to play the whole game.
Bro I remember how me and my 2 friends went and play throughed all of this and how in the final fight we almost lost but I came in clutch and helped us clap back against the king
this game is the reason im still even playing roblox
I managed to dodge every single attack from the Cruel King in my first fight with him and got both achievements in a row!

fact: if you have 4 people, use hard mode, ice kings freezing stab does 48 damage

Never saw Ice king dazed animation
Tip: if you're playing this solo and you get the bomb and you're at the final boss fight get a lot of pies and use it on yourself and then throw bomb if you have a teammate they can buff you and you can do more damage and also get some healing items and SP so you don't die or Get enough sp for the bomb

Lol the guys suffered to win the final Boss, I managed to win without taking damage
Sentient Statues on hardmode are nothing for me if you know whens the timeframe to perfect DODGE
You should watch Marv's video on How to PERFECT dodge every enemy.
It helped me with Hardmoding Cruel King solo
(I just used Pie and just killed him)
This game looks more similar to Bug Fables for me.
If roblox ever do another classic event block tales should be there like its already perfect including the style
