LSU needs linebackers, they just brought in like 5 safeties in the 2023 class
2 safeties in Ryan Yaites and Kylin Jackson. Would’ve been 3 but Daugherty transferred and Toviano depending on the recruiting site was a safety or CB but he’s been practicing at CB and nickel. I agree we need LBs but would love some more safeties also in this class.

Maurice was listed as a Safety at first on 247 and correct me if I’m wrong I believe when he was listed as a safety he was like the 2nd or 3rd best in his class and this was before there were any players ranked as 5 stars at the time. But I guess he got bigger in weight and the moved him to LB still a dawg no matter we he gets put tho

Not confirmed yet since he’s filling out his build rn he’s being viewed as a Safety/LB hybrid currently depends on his build when he hits campus, and seeing how his skillset evolves during his senior year. He was officially changed to LB on 247 and On3
