I haven’t hunted in a few years. I still love to watch hunting videos and hear great hunting stories. You did a great job filming and harvesting a nice buck. Hope to see more of your videos in the future.
You were trying to down play it...your buddy was like naaa that's amazing..I'm on my way!! LOL...Congrats!! That filming and hunting can be tough, especially by yourself, when you got action!! Thanks for sharing...
Nice! Glad you didn't wait until the next day to look for him. I have seen a lot of videos of hunters backing out until the next to look for the deer. BIG MISTAKE! Coyotes will find the deer way before you do!! CONGRATS!
Thank you! I picked up about half of my stuff used off Facebook like the camera and the other half new but I would say I paid around $1500-1750 for everything in that tree.
That buck was dead on his feet but getting that second shot is always good. Most deer take off and run til they die. I have seen shots like this where they stop not far away. If he was running the whole time he would have died quicker. His body is not having to pump blood like it would be if he was running full speed so it takes longer and feels like an eternity. Congrats.
Thanks for watching! I’ve always practiced on the saying that if the deer offers you a second shot no matter how good the first one might have been to take. It’s always better to be safe than sorry in my opinion.
Awesome vid but with all that gear, get yourself a rock climbing harness bud. That tether clearly causes you huge problems here with cam arm. Waist harness elimates it all!
As someone who loves to film I was worried about getting the shot on film but that had no impact on the first shot. That comes from being a less experienced bow hunter and forgetting to stop the deer. The first shot was still a lethal shot that would have killed the deer
Enjoyed watching, anyone that ever hunted deer can relate to your excitement! Good job brother!
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Agreed!
You were a mess haha!! I’m exactly the same way and I don’t even film, much respect for getting it on camera. Congratulations!!

You ain’t kidding! Hunting with the camera is an added challenge. Glad you enjoyed !

For sure! I was pretty certain with two shots and thinking what I heard was a crash while I was in the stand to be able to pursue the deer that night!
Fun watch, thanks and congrats. Is that a dry stream bed behind you?
Thank you! It was a small waterhole.

Pa is not a easy place to hunt public property.
Your not wrong, but it has a ton to offer with different habitats and some big bucks tucked away deep within.
I apologize should have watched a lil farther you did feed him another great call.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for your input! I’ve never looked into something like that so I will have to.
About the first shot what I'm saying is u would have taken a wide open shot a little earlier than did, that's all
First shot looked like liver hit.
Definitely was which is why I’m glad I could get a second shot
That's a shame u were so worried about that camera it caused a bad shot on the first one and then look what u went through on the second one
As someone who loves to film I was worried about getting the shot on film but that had no impact on the first shot. That comes from being a less experienced bow hunter and forgetting to stop the deer. The first shot was still a lethal shot that would have killed the deer
