I followed your steps exactly however when I turned the car on it revs constantly up and down around 2000 rpm and the check engine light is on. Pulling codes show P0123 and P0223. High voltage to the sensors. What could have caused this and what do you suggest? Just do relearn?

I have a question in my 2007 civic fd manual. My idle normal rpm is 800, and when I sped up like 40mph then putted the gear into neutral, my rom stays at 1.4k stable until I fully stop. I’m on neutral and I’m not stepping up the gas but my idle stays at 1.4k while the car is moving. And also, then I let go of the gas, my rpm goes up first like around 2k rpm before it goes down to 800rpm. What should I do?
Hard to give advice when you can’t check the car, but, Start by cleaning throttle body, do a reset and relearn, if your car has a throttle cable check the idle air control valve
Hey danny, i am not sure if this is the solution to my cars issue, i have a 2007 civic and its giving me the throttle error sometimes and it goes into limp mode. I changed the throttle body and it didnt show up for 8 days but its showing again.
I replaced the alternator on a 08 honda oddysey and now it has all the warning lights on and wont go past 3000 rpm. It sat for 2 months before i could get an alternator also. Do i need to do this or do i have another issue. I also replaced the vvt solenoid since that was the initial problem leaking onto the alternator. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I just picked up a used 2009 mileage I’ve been averaging 26 miles per gallon or so mixed highway driving I thought I’d be getting closer to 29 or 30 MPG. A little disappointed by this, is this Norm? I’ve changed, spark plugs, air cleaner, oil, transmission fluid, etc. going to do the MAF sensor next. Anything else I should be checking?
When the engine is running, there's vibration, especially the front passenger. The vibration goes through and some particles start vibrating under the door windows. Could it be the throttle body?

Pulled cam shaft post. Sensor cleaned it (it did have a lot of oil on it) inspected crankshaft sensor cleaned it. I did unhook ecu and immobilizer for about 10 min hooked both back up. Starts every time runs 4 or 5 sec and sputters and dies. I checked fuel pump with method from your channel read steady entire time power was on. I really need my car it's also my home I've tried alot of things but it hasn't gotten better

Hi Danny. Thanks for the video post. My 2008 Civic GX only idles poorly in the morning, and when it is below 70 or so degrees. I have to let it idle for 5-7 minutes and it sputters, which can be heard at the exhaust pipe. I then have to shut the car off and start it again. The sputter stops and I can drive the car. The check engine light flashes when I first start it. If I don't warm it up, the engine rpm won't go past 1500 rpm and its impossible to drive the car. It also throws the 302 misfire code for the number 2 cylinder. Will this reset help or is there something else that is causing the problem that you can suggest a repair for?

I have a 1.6 i-dtec... what's the correct rpm to hold it at. Redline is around 5000 rpm
I did this procedure twice. And my fan didn't come on at all. But I do know the fans work. Because when I turn on my ac. The fans will run then.

Any idea or solution for my problem, when engine is in idel by turn off the AC the engine power is doing down and Comes back to idle.

So this will help if your idle surges sometimes and the car cuts out ever so often

Civic idles 750 + - so 800 is with in specification.

Timing chain should last the life of the vehicle, if mine ever needs to be replaced a video will certainly be produced

Check your coolant level and ensure it’s topped off, Make sure AC and defrost are off as they automatically turn on and sustain fans

Do this on a warm engine.
From my experience, I get better results on a cold engine, however the manual doesn’t specify cold or warm

Did you check the airflow sensor? Any codes? Unplug the airflow sensor and see if it runs any better

You have other issue, you need to figure out you cylinder two misfire and any other codes you have
