There’s a huge problem with ranked right now. It is accounting for social playlists and firefight performance. Even if you throw your placement games, it still will put you in high lobbies if you are good in social. The players in the first game are probably good in random social playlists, but because the flaws system, they match up against Lucid
Thats some impressive playning! Especially the split-second decision-making, like when to press the 1v1 vs when to retreat. Theres a whole lotta different skills on display in this video.

Yeah I used to play Ranked but get to a certain point and you get shit on over and over again and lose the rank you had and it is like 1 step forward 3 steps back. And I do not like to have to sweat that much on my down time.
The start sucks tbh, im gold solo or duo matching 4 stack platinum players. I don't think i deserve the lowest rank possible after losing 5/5 matches vs platinums beeing gold1, isn't it? 4 stack should match 4 stack only imo.
If the idea of ranked play is to have in bins homogeneous skilled players, they mess everytime. Just select randomly people with the same rank, dont make fancy calcs or social MMR or shit like that. People that are better will win more they go up, thats it, easiest thing ever but 343 does not miss a chance do they?

For me i was diamond when the game came out but new maps and content I play at platinum now I just haven’t learned all the new maps yet
