De Norte a Sur, de Este a Oeste - Ebb and Flow - Live at Berklee Valencia

Berklee Valencia and Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia students perform “Ebb and Flow,” an original composition by Imam Hamdani M.M. ‘23, a Berklee Valencia graduate student of the contemporary performance (production concentration) program, at the Teatre Martin y Soler of Les Arts in Valencia, Spain.
Originally written for guitar and sarod, an Indian fretless instrument, the piece was arranged by Hamdani and Daniel Osiewala M.M. ‘23, a student of the scoring for film, television, and video games program.
De Norte a Sur, de Este a Oeste is a musical collaboration where North and South, and East and West meet-and where classical and modern musical traditions went hand-in-hand- a project where students from very different backgrounds came together to celebrate the diversity of culture and music.
Through this cross-collaboration, students and faculty shaped a unique proposal to show us that music is a universal language that unites us, allows us to share and learn about the multicultural richness of other countries, and helps us understand each other.
After their concert in València, students have the opportunity to travel to Madrid to share the repertoire with new audiences.
