Tips I apply to my sewing that helps me. #1 tip If you use a ruler and mark a straight line with a perm marker on your ironing mat, you'll always iron your pieces straight. It's too easy to have your strips kinda wonky which changes how the fabric lays. I even do it on my ironing board cover and make atleast 2 rows of permanent lines so I can iron more than one strip at a time. My yardage will also start out straight. I've never had my permanent ink come off onto fabric but if you are worried about that just iron it right after marking. #2 tip Use a green scrubby that's used for cleaning where you've had to seam rip to remove all loose threads. Will also remove any spray starch flaking. #3 tip If you finger press your strips before adding a new strip it will stop the confusion of ironing directions once all your strips sets are done. You can also lay out your strips in the order to be sewn, all the seams in a set go up, X2 sets, then sew your other 2 sets and finger press down X2 as you go. Once it's time to use your iron, the seams are already going in the direction needed. I pray this makes sense. Love love love your videos, what a pleasure. Watching replay and listening to discussion on seat belts fix. I have the same problem and have used a Velcro strap that fits near the clasp end and slides out of the way when hubby drives my vehicle!

Thank you for this. Another idea to add to your arsenal... Make your piece longer the same way but just put it around the neck side of the seatbelt. This way it hugs into your clothes and keeps it away from your neck. I usually just put mine between my breast and waalaa it stays in place and the seat belt closes easier when not in use. 8.5 x 10 or so... Another video option. I've not seen this size video. If it's out there just do your own version... Thanks again Becca...

I have the tiddydo disease and that keeps the seatbelt not sit properly. If you don't know what that is... It's that my stomach sticks out further than my tiddies do... 😂😅.

I made your seatbelt holders. It worked beautifully and I used Velcro instead of snaps and it just sits on the strap ready for use.
