- It's always a worry when packing for a big trip, pack too much and carry around unnecessary gear or not pack enough and have to buy gear during the trip or worse still take gear that is not going to work in the country you are going to. I have been going to Oman to fish now for 8 years and think I have finally got my gear sorted.
