Once again Debo comes through!! Like u I carry way to much in my tackle bag & was looking for a smaller bag that will force me to carry less & force me to use lures that I don’t always use . Thanks again , I say it every time I comment Debo u da man 🎣
Very thorough break down. One of the best reviews I have seen. You didnt skip anything so yes I want to see the same kind of review on the Tackle warehouse bag now.
Awesome review video dude. I'm needing a new tackle bag. Right now using normal back pack and I need one with better storage capacity and made for fishing. Would like to see you review of the Tackle Warehouse tackle bag.
I have the same bag, I use it for bank and kayak fishing. Love it. My wife got it for Christmas a few years back. Price did go down from then. Anyone looking for a convenient bag, this is it!
Nice review D! And thanks for the shout out man! I'll stick with my conventional backpacks for now tho' since they can hold everything I'll ever need. I've been thinking about getting a decent scale, and the one you showed looks pretty good. Looking forward to the next video!
That would make a real nice bag for outdoor tasks in general!! Like bird watching, just keep your binoculars in the main pocket, and then a journal and writing materials in some of the smaller pockets!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
DEBO, Perfect timing. I am looking for a shoulder bag to replace a large fanny pack. The fanny pack has been my main bag for 10 to 15 years or more. Still in good shape. It is causing hip and back pain of late. I have a lot of weight in the bag and it is taking it’s toll. I have purchased several shoulder bags and all of the sling bags have one thing in common, they hang low on my hips and over time aggravate my hip. I would like to see you review the ideal shoulder bag regardless of cost. Good equipment is worth the price. I am back to the fanny pack and a small double strap back pack. I flip flop between the two until I find a long term solution.
Interesting little bag. I’m going to check it out further. I’d also like to see how you pack that TW backpack. Been looking at those too. Thanx for posting the review!!
That was a phase for me- when I first started fishing again as an adult I loved buying all the tackle, gear, and accessories but- that got old pretty quickly. Now, 3 years and several thousands dollars later, I get upset when I have to buy something. I stopped buying lures altogether- I got sick of constantly buying new stuff when there is literally purchases from a full year ago that I haven't even got a chance to fish yet. I was buying new lures and taking up new techniques so often I simply couldn't get around to fishing it all- and I go almost everyday. I would get all excited about getting something- buy it, and then it gets stuck back in pack or something and forgot about. A year later I run across it and I'm like "Oh yeah- I was so excited to get that- I guess I should try it out." No more- I have so many lures in every possible color scheme I could fish easily for the next year without buying any thing. Caught myself last night shopping for red lipless cranks then I realize- I have 5-6 already, there's no sense in buying another just because Edwin Evers suggested it.
@@CrazyCranker I'm such a hypocrite- I remember writing this and within no time I was right back buying a bunch of stuff up. I’d like to see the Tackle Warehouse bag. I usually never know which pond or creek I’m going to until I headed there. Therefore I have a bunch of room for gear for a bunch Right now I’m working on find colors that work in the different waters I have access to Still practicing with that baitcaster!!!!!! Really practical vid for stuff that really helps us new people get comfortable with the whole sport!!
Debo thanks for the bag video I was using a LLBean fanny pack for years. Just got one delivered from Amazon today. Very nice. Actually fits 2 Plano 3700 boxes. Much more compact bag.
Great review Debo! Been looking for something to replace my heavy ass backpack and this looks perfect for me. Gonna order one now! And I’m gonna order a pair of those pliers thanks for showing us this gem!!
I like the reviews. Neat little bag. I carry a Swiss gear backpack (not a fishing bag whatsoever) that I carry with me. It holds 3 of the 3700 boxes then I have a couple smaller boxes in there and I carry a small bait envelope type bag clipped to the backpack then I also carry another smaller fishing bag with all my small plastics. Not sure if that sentence could have ran on any longer! Lol. I need a new setup. Pita carrying all that crap and a few rods. I need to just have confidence that I don’t need $250 worth of gear on me at all times.
The boomerang is the best braid cutter ever! I got a pair of those pliers, and they refuse to cut braid now.....didn’t last long at all. I wish they made the string that pulls out of the boomerang either stronger, or longer....lol, already broke that, but it still works when you pull it out your pocket!
DEBO'S Fishing awesome man also if you got the time would like to see how you spoil your braid I’ve been having issues and I think it’s the way I put it on the spool thanks love the vids keep em coming
You are a highly prepared man! I stuff my old Burton snowboarding backpack with a bass pro box, some soft plastics and just a handful of other gear. Weighs probably 5 lbs lol.
I've looked at that bag so many times, I currently have a Walmart brand, Outdoors products, bag hold, 2 3700 Plano boxes and pretty similar items in the video. I typically bank fish with 2 rods most the time. I like to keep a telescopic rod on in the bag, makes the hike more manageable.
Would love to see the big bag! I always bring a little of everything unless I’m really trying a new lure out and don’t wanna put it down. I’m kinda of a gear freak so I like havin options
You rock, man. I've been looking for one of these to consolidate my tackle when I bank fish. I kept hitting roadblocks cause I didn't have the time to put together the dimension (if they were even available) and figure out what size boxes I would need and price it out properly. You answered every question for me in one video. Impressive, brother! You've got a new Feeshin' friend from New Orleans.
When I put one lure per box section, Devon has my whole tackle box in one compartment. Thanks for the review looking around for a smaller bag to trek with.
Right on, this was cool. I'm always in the process or organizing and reorganizing my packs. Would like to see the Tackle Warehouse duffel bag you shoulder.
Im using one of the cases from Walmart currently. Gunna need to upgrade eventually! Cool to see how efficient you made a small tackle bag. Has everything you need pretty much
I've had the Piscifun version for about 3 years now with no issues. It fits 2 3600's and a 3400 for terminal tackle very well. Then about 6-8 bags of plastics. The perfect amount for bank fishing around a body of water.
I have the piscifun version. It looks almost the same but it seems the piscifun one has more features. Anyways, if you need more tackle, you can fit one regular 3700 and 2 slim 3700s in the main compartment! I use one thin for soft plastics and one for terminal tackle. Scented soft plastics stay in their bags in the smaller front compartment. Love this bag!
I have that same scale but i added a little modification.. i took the clip thats on it off and put the big rapala fish grips on. Just personally liked the bigger grip
I also use a sling style bag! Well it’s more of a fly fishing sling but I usually pack really light and only carry 2rods so it works perfect for me, even if it looks funny to the fly fisherman purist lol
Debo. Stop. Reading. My. Mind. My best friend and I were just talking how I need to lighten my fishing gear I bring. This style backpack is freaking perfect. I use 3600s for most of my tackle. Thanks!
I bought the larger one of these that's a full sized backpack for $60 bucks. It's a pretty good bag! My only complaint is that it has this sleeve that falls through to the bottom. Mine even has straps for rods. I put my heavy duty metal rod holders in the straps. I catfish about 4 days a week. I've had the bag for about two months. So far it hasn't ripped. I would recommend it!
My brother! Loved the little bag review. Definitely count me in for wanting to see the big TW bad review. I would also love to see a little more on rod and reels, too. I saw in a video a couple days ago you had that Sixgill rod. I went to their website to check them out a little more, and they had that special going, buy one get one rod free. So I had to hop on that deal!
What a great idea using a fly fishing shoulder pack for fishing on the move. There some really pricey ones if you check out the big brand names. I have ones like yours and some smaller ones. One I bought a while back; looks just like yours. I set one up just for ultralight lure fishing with BFS tackle and it holds hundreds of lures spare reels and line. You can add and change them for any type of fishing you want to do. Truthfully a good fishing vest works well too. I saw someone using a Go-Pro that was mounted on a form fitting vest last year trout fishing. Another guy had a camera mounted on a bike helmet. The hook and loop setup makes a million ways to use them. I have been accosted by a drone once this year on my local lake. I believe it might have been a Fish Commission one. They now use them from patrol boats apparently. By the way; if you use small rubber bands on your crankbaits hooks they don’t get tangled and you can fit more in your box. You can carry spinnerbaits, jigs and chatterbaits in a fly leader wallet too. They have a bunch of plastic pockets and hold an ample supply of what you need for fishing. I hope you hit 100,000 subscribers by New Years.
Liking the smaller bag. Your reviews on the tackle warehouse bag brought my son and I to purchase one of those each. I love that bag but it gets heavy when you load it up.
All I know is I love my tackle warehouse bag so far. It’s been awesome. It does get kinda heavy at times and I have to keep reminding myself that it is to stay light for when I’m walking the banks, but it has been awesome so far. I’d probably end up overfilling that little bag too haha
The Cabela's gear bag is pretty awesome. It holds 4 3600 size boxes in the main compartment plus 2 3500 boxes in one front compartment, plus an additional front compartment, a compartment on each side, which are pretty big, and a zip compartment on both sides of the top of the main compartment. It holds a crap load of stuff. It has a shoulder sling and handles. It's available at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's and is under $30.
Here's a tip about the marker. Sharpie makes a neon yellow marker that works great on light colored soft plastics and skirts. You can find them at craft stores.
Devon, I've got the Picifun version of that same bag. I love it! It's the perfect shore bag! And yes, you can get 100 pounds in that little bag lol. I'm always having to go through it and thin it out. I forget that it is supposed to be just filled out of my main bag for shore runs, not a mini main bag lol. Highly recommended bag!
Another solid video! I've been eyeing the Rodeel larger back pack but wondered about the quality. Im assuming its similar to you're smaller bag. I think I'm gonna have to pull the trigger when their back in stock.
That is a great Idea. I was looking at the Kastking bag like this. But this looks like it has way more room. my issue is I carry my bump board for online tourneys. Gotta figure out where I can fit that in on one of these.
I have a Piscifun backpack. It is slightly larger than that, but not much. It came with two plastic boxes, but the bottom of the boxes where you put the tackle are v shaped. Hooks and little stuff gets caught in there and it is hard to get them out sometimes. Maybe they think moisture drains off or something, I don’t know 🤔 I have a little Gamakatsu bag as well that is slightly smaller. It can’t carry as much as yours. I just have to pare down what I take.
Have you ever had any of the big name brand bags like Plano lunker hunt or the samurai bags? I'm so torn on what to spend the money on might wait and see if santa brings me one this year
I actually have this bag and I like it... it's my main go to bag when hitting up a lake or river I have a smaller bag I use for ultralight fishing when pond hopping
I have been wanting to put together a smaller bag for so long I have a spider wire sling bag that I have tried to make a bag but I keep running into packing to much stuff.
I have something even smaller, with a belt, that i use it for my drop shot or soft plastic fishing. It helps me to be very mobile, i can do 3 miles in a day by walking near the fishing spots, but it's restrain me of using more than 3 types of fishing techniques at a time. It has even a place for a small bottle of a chosen liquid to drink.
Been using piscifun's "large" version of the same bag for a few years now, Love it, fits like 6 3600 cases or two or 3 3700 boxes, so I can take all the tackle I need when I go :) Also use the upper pouch for terminal tackle
@@DEBOSFishing it actually looks like this one might be slightly different in two ways from what I can tell. The strap on yours looks better padded, and the piscifun version has an extra lil pouch thing on the bottom for holding things like rods or whatever. But other than that I cant find anything different between them. Guess its just preference at that point.
This was extremely helpful as I was looking at this exact bag a few days ago. Would love more of these videos.
Awesome, glad it helped! I can definitely do more gear reviews!

Yeah, has worked well!
I use the ugly stick backpack plenty of storage
Here's a tip about the marker. Sharpie makes a neon yellow marker that works great on light colored soft plastics and skirts. You can find them at craft stores.
Devon, I've got the Picifun version of that same bag. I love it! It's the perfect shore bag! And yes, you can get 100 pounds in that little bag lol. I'm always having to go through it and thin it out. I forget that it is supposed to be just filled out of my main bag for shore runs, not a mini main bag lol. Highly recommended bag!
Hahaha I have it too and yep to every word you said!
Yeah, it's easy to bring too much 🤣
I’m interested in buying the Piscifun product your mentioning. What’s they exact name of the product?
Would love a similar review of your Tackle Warehouse backpack. Cheers!
Can definitely do that one!
Nice bag but I have at least 3 of them! I do like those pliers, how about a link. And i do want to see the tacklewarehouse bag.
Yeah, the pliers seem solid so far. www.amazon.com/dp/B082SDK5YD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_b4DBFb77DT0FF
Bought one of these bags for my son via your link-thanks dude!
*** Update. liked the first one, bought a second for myself!***
Have dizzle show his stuff too. Not all of us are bean poles like you😁. I am a big guy myself and could use some ideas of stuff that will work for me.
He has a similar one that he likes. He'll give his opinion of the TW bag too when I do that one!
Seems very much like the piscifun sling bag. Great bag. If it's built the same, should last a good long time. Had mine for a year now, no issues.
Yeah, they look almost identical!
Another solid video! I've been eyeing the Rodeel larger back pack but wondered about the quality. Im assuming its similar to you're smaller bag. I think I'm gonna have to pull the trigger when their back in stock.
Yeah, seems like it should hold up but we'll see!
Great review man
I use my old school bag (under armour) as my fishing back. Instead of throwing my bag out, I reused it.
Great way to use an old bag!
That is a great Idea. I was looking at the Kastking bag like this. But this looks like it has way more room. my issue is I carry my bump board for online tourneys. Gotta figure out where I can fit that in on one of these.
Yeah, those boards are just kind of awkward to carry around.
That’s a pretty cool little pack
i bought a digital camo bag exactly like this at a gas station for like $15. use it every day for literally anything. 🤙🏼
A video of your big tackle bag would be cool?
I can make that happen!
I have a Piscifun backpack. It is slightly larger than that, but not much. It came with two plastic boxes, but the bottom of the boxes where you put the tackle are v shaped. Hooks and little stuff gets caught in there and it is hard to get them out sometimes. Maybe they think moisture drains off or something, I don’t know 🤔
I have a little Gamakatsu bag as well that is slightly smaller. It can’t carry as much as yours. I just have to pare down what I take.
Yeah, this came with a similar wonky tackle box, I didn't like it.
I got a bag like this by Spiderwire. It’s awesome. Especially for walking the pond or kayak fishing.
Have you ever had any of the big name brand bags like Plano lunker hunt or the samurai bags? I'm so torn on what to spend the money on might wait and see if santa brings me one this year
The TW bag is the only one I've needed!
Love it, I have an almost identical one that was also super cheap 👍🏼👍🏼
Probably the same manufacturer, just different branding. Great bag!!
Yeah, I saw a few that looked identical. This one was the cheapest so I grabbed it.
@@DEBOSFishing it’s excellent! I’ve got the solid army green Piscifun one and I swear I could take it camping lol
You should try solvangiang collapse able rods with that bag. Bought same bag a year ago. It's awesome
I don't have any collapsible rods at all. Would be great for a car outfit!
Nice! I saw they had something similar. When I bought it this was $6 cheaper and looks like the exact same bag.
