I’ve been using digital backgrounds for years now and with AI, I create my own digital backgrounds using mid journey and it just takes my work to another creative level allowing me to offer my clients something away from the norm. Is it for everyone? No. But definitely is here to stay and yes there’s a market for it, so don’t cut yourself short. I love compositing and headshots and it helps to have something to offer your clients other than what they think they’re going to get. Think of it as having another arrow in your quiver.😊
Thank you Rafal, I am a big fan of your work, I have made a pause in photography, this year I want to resume taking portraits, your work is very inspiring, I wish the best for you this year and thank you once again for sharing your knowledge. Greetings from Mexico
Happy New Year Rafal! Thank You for the awesome work that you have been shareing! Cheers (Edited: Had to add this, as a very interesting topic... despite of being a sports photographer.)
Do you have to pay for each attempt at a background with credits or upon export? Also do you know if Affinity offers this? I am still on CS6 and wondering which other software programs offer this at this time. Thank you.
Hola Rafal, que plataforma de IA usas para descargar los fondos?, tienes algún video en dónde explicas cómo es el proceso que tú usas para cambiar los fondos?
I am using Photoshoot. I dont have a video but You can join a Seminar where I explain all the details. Please send me an email and I will send you all the information, mation. Thank You for watching.
Most of the examples in the video look quite poor, They are noticeably AI backgrounds. You can see incorrect perspectives at times compared to the focal length of lens used for the photo, incorrect DOF's, auto masking mistakes and that is just looking at HD quality. If it is going to be used it needs much more care applied in its use so you don't notice it is AI.
Thank you for your thoughts. I think that those who refuse to use AI haven't understood its big potential for us photographers. Unfortunately the link to your AI seminar does't work.
What is the idea behind producing photos that look so fake that I can recreate them using ComyUI + Flux + Lora? All I have to do is feed the algorithm some older photos of the person and invent a background
Man, I tried hard to enjoy and agree with you, but the examples that you played while talking, the most them didn't look fine, except for the regular one colour or some exceptions like the black woman with windows behind, the majority of examples didn't make the picture 'feel fine' to not say uncomfortable...
This is just the begging and I am sure with the time this technology gets better.... it's a learning curve for us and these tools also needs to improve but I agree with you they are not perfect but for sure there is something promising

Do you shoot on a green screen or plain light or dark background? Thanks for the video.
Any background works.
The next step is to take an image of a person's avatar. Artificial intelligence is looking for the right background. Don't need a camera anymore.
We are not there yet and we won't be for a very long time but I agree this is the feature...
Excellent Big Daddy Raf!!!
Thank You!
