We all know that as content creators, you're entertainers, but you all had an intelligent, well thought-out conversation that was fun to listen to. Thanks for not just being shallow personalities. Teccy, keep up that healthy life-style, you're looking great! Cheers.

    I think this was my favourite episode so far. Perfect amount of jank with the sudden camera breaks, the topics were varied and plentiful. This is also the closest it's been to an even amount of commentary from each person. Granted, emiru still said the least, but it's closer! I think trying monsters solo in MH is key to getting good in groups. When I first started MH World (first one I ever played) I did co-op all the way up to Nergigante who gave us (random group) a hard time. Game was fairly easy up to then. After failing a fight or two I tried solo and while I did beat him first try I realized I was the weak link in those groups. Having Nergi focus completely on me helped me understand it's mechanics that I didn't really notice in the group. Every group I did after that we completely decimated it EZ.

    There are also a lot of layoffs in tech because of inflation. It's the same every time in an inflationary environment. When the FED lowers the interest rates again, companies will pretty much start to throw money around again with a lot of hiring and crazy salaries. It's not really that tech is "maturing", tech is pretty much in perma startup mode because there's constantly something new that's promising and a lot of capital flows into it.

    We have a problem with losing low skill jobs though. The problems never rise from the addition of technology, it’s from the removal of low skill or entry level jobs that have disappeared in the last 50 years. No one can enter a job and advance anymore. It’s made large stagnations in tenure and then with retirements happening we can’t fill those jobs with anyone actually qualified because they gate-kept the position for so long. It’s why people can’t survive at lower income jobs and have to ask for minimum wage to be raised. There’s more people now and the only jobs available are food service. Look at how many food service jobs are “created” every quarter when you know there’s no one working those jobs anymore. You can’t survive on them and they stay vacant. You need so many incomes to survive in a household now, you can’t even compare 20 years ago to now. There’s less money in the economy. No one has any money to spend in the lower income families. Big companies want to keep surviving so they inflate prices to ridiculous costs. The inflation from the virus scare never came down and won’t because if they have an excuse to be higher they will stay high. Soda prices or chip prices are evident in this especially. And then add that employers act like the amount of work people do needs to be more and more over time and they wonder why people leave. No one can take care of themselves mentally, physically, and financially. The only ones making videos about it are already set. The normal person no longer has a voice for them because they have been stun locked into the new iPhone, the new car, the new house working nonstop without the ability to take care of themselves. Property taxes are taking over rentals now too making it impossible to keep up. Like they say the rich get richer.

    Meaning of "Nake" archaic. : to make naked : lay bare : strip. Nobody uses this word ever. I've never heard it, but this is the answer that google gave me. Yet I agree that it sounds like a curse word, or like calling someone a monkey or something...

    34:55 definitely pro AI. My buddy works at a facility in Philly and I work at one in MA. He says the AI assisted diagnosis are incredible. Obviously, you still need a human there to verify the findings, but AI can reference studies and advanced techniques from all over the globe to diagnose and come up with a treatment plan for the provider to use. There's just no competing with AI assisted facilities if you're not one, their clinical results over time will trend upward. If you don't get on board, your facility won't be able to keep up and insurances won't pay out to you for being behind the curve.

    29:09 calisthenics is body weight exercises but tbf if you’re doing it on a matt and laying down or flat it’s prob called Pilates

    • @blemishednicely8402
      @blemishednicely8402 2 місяці тому

      Calisthenics is endurance training, often doing a variety of body weight exercises over a long period of time & generally increasing that window as you go/over time.
      Pilates is a series of particular body weight exercises, often combining strength & agility or with the aim of maintaining a wide range of motion (or muscle groups less often used) if not expanding said range or one's flexibility...specifically ones from Joseph Pilates, whom created it/it's named after. There are ones where your ankles are strapped & you arc your legs, raising/lowering your body (almost like using a rowing machine that's stood up & with your legs instead of arms) amongst others that don't really appear in calisthenics at all.

    Is there a way to fix the microphones echo/tinniness? It's mostly an issue with Emi and Asmon's mics since they're close to each other (I assume that's the reason) they sound like they're speaking into soda cans with compression applied on top.

    Age range is a huge factor. Its harder to connect to someone much older or younger as that entails more etiquette and rules, to avoid it being problematic. People my age are all on phones. No one speaks outside. Why would I expose myself to a boring behind the scenes of people using the internet? The people who do talk are in their persona filming a overly edgy tiktok hoping to get that 1.25 while alienating a community off and online.
