The 4000 hours are pain in the behind. When you hear 4000 it’s seems like nothing, but even getting 1 hour is so hard. Is it a must to go live? Because I have never done that.
I think you are right about the CPM. I used to be mad Ugandans don’t watch my videos and my biggest audience is US, UK. When I found out about the CPM news happy.

It’s UA-cam thing cause brands pay for the ad then UA-cam chooses which ad to put on your videos
So if you’re not monetized then even if u see the ad it doesn’t count but if your monetized then you will get some money depending on the type of of ad that is set on your videos with UA-cam
