Great video! Thank you very much!
These improvements are quiet major and very welcome. Advance steel and concrete should be built into Revit instead of having them as standalone products
notice what happens whe nyou attempt to produce assembly view or steel that has these connections? also are you able to schedule the parts, no. intentionally limiting the improvements to maintain the need for AS is not a good for the consumer..
you provide many new ideas for me.thanks
We're glad you found this video inspiring :-)
Hi there Lawrence,
I'm trying to add the Knee connection to a portal frame.
Using the new knee connection feature from the new structural connections, I keep receiving an error, any clues what I might be doing wrong, the apex connection works OK.
Kind Regards
Alan.
Sir i dowload the revit 2017 , but the option of the addon not activated i mean i can't find the library , so how can i load the families of the library although i installed them when i installed the revit
how do i change steel code to metric and bs code
are the steel connections in revit exportable to robot structural analysis 2017???
Hi Phikwe G. At the present time, the connections will be fully compatible with Advance Steel but not with Robot Structural Analysis. The idea is that you will design the connections in Revit to EC3 and not use the connection design in Robot.
when i place a clip angle connection the angles don't show up in the model just the holes where the bolts go show up. any suggestions on what i can do to change this?
+Gareth Bailey Hi Gareth, I've spoken to Lawrence and he recommends the following:
Check the detail level and the Visibility graphics settings for connections.
+Excitech Ltd Thanks! that was my problem.
