It's weird how we're the only conference whose fans will cheer for other SEC teams in non con games. You'll never hear a Michigan fan hoping Ohio State wins even though it would make Michigan look that much better. I always say I'm a Florida/Alabama/Georgia fan 51 weeks of the year 😂.
If Ohio injuries on the offensive line are not addressed it could be a long day for the home team. Tennessee has the odds stacked against them but Ohio is not invincible.

Since it has been said the weather will be bad for TN. It is 30 degrees and snowing in Knoxville, TN. This isn't the deep south. Heck it has been in the teens for the last week to two weeks.
The weather in Tennessee and Ohio are not the same. I live in Florida for seven years and froze my ass off in the winter, but I’m from Ohio so it’s what it is.
It was 32 in Cincinnati yesterday & 34 in clarksville at the same time. Not that much of a difference temp wise between the two. Idk where this narrative comes from.
People act like residents of colder climates live outside or something. We live in climate controlled homes and 99 percent of us only run outside when it's freezing for a few minutes bundled up like a eskimo. We are not hunter gathers. That's like saying you are used to the cold since you open your freezer and look for popsicles.
Again, anyone saying Will Howard can’t make tight throws is only basing it off of one bad game with terrible play calling. Watch more film than just the Michigan game. That interception was on a pass that shouldn’t have even been called. You come out and run the ball for no yards on first and second down, and then you wanna pass on an obvious passing play from your own end zone? Later in the game, they’re running the ball on third and eighth and third and 10 in the red zone Will Howard should’ve walked up to his coaches and asked why they’re trying to take his stock. He’s actually been very good all season, and extremely accurate. Ohio state is more talented than TN on both sides of the ball. The question is whether or not our coaching staff dooms us in a big game again. That’s it.
I'm a Michigan fan and agree with pretty much everything you said. This loss was 99% on the coaches. The missed FGs was pretty bad. That's on the players.
Will Howard stinks and any time he has thrown the ball around the field has been the anomaly throughout his career. Ohio State has better receivers, linebackers and safeties. It either too close to call or advantage tennessee everywhere else. But we will find out on the 21st but yall will blame your coach regardless.
You mean people are actually counting the one game of the year that actually has nfl talent on it? "They haven’t came close to tap their potential" you sound like someone's mom. Potential means zero unless its realized. Ohio State recruits well, that's it. They consistently do less with more. What does that say about a program?
Both teams are heavily reliant on proficient offensive line play. The team with the offensive line that can resist the other side's defense better will prevail on this one

@DvanteReese no Milton chose not to play and go for the NFL, that was Nico's first full game he played..... Check it out cause he flat showed out. The highlight reel is a WOW.
@@Oldmandad007 Correct, I’m only correcting the “Orange bowl” part. Nico’s first start was in the Citrus bowl against Iowa. How do I know? I was there in Orlando for that game since I have a family member that plays for Iowa.
You saw an OSU team that lost their starting center and right tackle who will probably be a first rounder and have had a constant shuffle that has affected their run game....this would affect any team .....they will run but they will be throwing the ball all over the field this time that will put stress on Tennessee's back end like they have never seen
He is spot on about Will Howard. He will absolutely ruin a season. He makes horrible decisions at crucial times. We would have beat Oregon and TTUN with Brown at QB. Any little pressure and he folds like a blanket.
Everybody does realize this is a road game for Tennessee, right? Here’s Heupel’s record in big time road games: 0-2 at Florida 0-2 at Georgia 0-2 at Bama Lost in 2023 at Missouri The only good win was in 2022 at LSU. That’s it for the bigger games on the road.
tennessee is not beating ohio state in columbus that is one of the most difficult places to play the VOLS defense may keep them in it but i can guarantee that dylan wont be running the ball against them
I agree with a lot of this except Tennessee being able to run the ball with success. I think Ohio State has the best defense in the country, and it’s going to be cold enough to make the passing game hard on both teams. I see a lot of punts from both teams and a low scoring game. I think if Ohio State runs tempo and focuses on the short passing game then they win. If they have a game plan like they did against Michigan, then they lose.
@@uni4rm yeah, I don’t agree with the weather being that much different, but notice I said it would hinder both teams. That being said, Tennessee players were calling for sideline heaters in a 55 degree game a few weeks ago.
If Ohio St has to run the ball they may still get things figured out ! Where they messed up was 1 : a rivalry game and thought they could beat scum at their own game ! 2: kept playing the same damn run plays up the middle that wasn’t working! If they get there OL somewhat better and clicking then I like Ohio State chances way better!
Extreme path the VOLS have before them.......underdogs, cold weather, on the road, night game, and a very good Ohio St team that aims to prove a point. It don't get much tougher than this, but an outcome where Oregon faces Tennessee in the next round would be more interesting than a repeat.
Trusting a rookie who hasn’t won on the road in a big game more than a 5 year vet who won his conference before and is the 2nd most efficient passer currently is wild
Just want to see Heupel start early with the tempo. Not using it as a weapon in the bag for later. Come out and get that engine running right out of the box. If you need to throttle back later fine but come out and show it early. Let that defense do its job. No more playing it safe, we made the playoffs, time to let it loose.
My nephew has down syndrome and he loves to watch David .. Him seeing another person that also has down syndrome is inspiring to him. And he loves football and youtube! So it makes my heart happy when he gets excited seeing David !
Tennessee is a running team, which is what you need to be good at to beat these suckeyes, but Tennessee is also not as good defensively as Michigan at its best and they don't have the experience against the suckeye offense that Michigan has. I expect Cryan Day to come out like they did in against Georgia in 2022 and like they always do against Penn State, and that will overwhelm Tennessee.
Tennessee has one of the best defenses in the nation. The Buckeye offense is good but it isn't like Tennessee hasn't seen really good offenses. They have the ability to stop anything you throw at them. This will be a good game!
My nephew has down syndrome and he loves to watch this channel and see another person that also has down syndrome while also living a normal life and doing UA-cam videos! Awesome !!
In all honesty, i dont blame them for gettinf the title wrong. All the musical chairs we've already seen makes me feel like by the time Tennessee faces Oregon, they will have it at the Mayo bowl.....maybe they think it should be the pop tarts bowl.....
Chip Kelly did call the offense in the Michigan game. It was Ryan Day wanting to prove how tough Ohio State is. It was an disaster. Chip Kelly would never call a game that pathetically.
When talking heads fail to mention jermod mccoy and boo carter I know they don't know anything about Tennessee. Jermod McCoy has been the standout player this season. More than Dylan Sampson, more than anyone. Boo Carter will be a future pro. Our secondary doesn't get nearly enough respect, and they do deserve it.
The Ohio state hate in the media is wild. Everybody like “OH RYAN DAY SUCKS!!” “OH OHIO STATE QBS SUCK! BAD RUN GAME!” Ryan Day doesn’t call the offensive plays. Ohio state run game is GREAT! Everybody looked at the Michigan game and didn’t realize it was a big rivalry game and Michigan decided to play their best game of the season for some reason. Also everybody forgot that the refs didn’t call a last second timeout at the end of the Oregon game and that’s why we lost. Refs screwed up. Ryan Day asked for an automatic timeout and the refs didn’t double check to see if Howard was down yet. He had time. We lost to the best team in the country by one point.
Tennessee played 1 good team and 1 decent team this year. They lost to the good team and beat the decent team (Alabama, who is in a down year) by a touchdown?
If Ryan Day wants to win, identify one favorable single match up and exploit it. If that works go with it and set up a different exploit. Day is suspectable to trying way too hard to have a 50-50 balanced run-pass offense. It is evident from a review of all the games played in the states. However, should Day abandon what's not working for what is working look out. I believe that the Buckeyes have set up other coaches to expect something which will not happen in the playoffs.
Michigan was sitting in 2 high safety for most of the game since their front 7 help up against the run and was able to pressure Will Howard. Tennessee can try to do this, but the Buckeyes should be ready for this having seen this for an entire game against the Wolverines.
I really do think whoever scores more points in this game will in fact win

@DvanteReese no Milton chose not to play and go for the NFL, that was Nico's first full game he played..... Check it out cause he flat showed out. The highlight reel is a WOW.
@@Oldmandad007 Correct, I’m only correcting the “Orange bowl” part. Nico’s first start was in the Citrus bowl against Iowa. How do I know? I was there in Orlando for that game since I have a family member that plays for Iowa.
@DvanteReese you could be right there I might have got the whole citrus and orange thing mixed up
@ haha, all good. I knew what you meant.
31-23 Vols.
Go Rocky Top
You saw an OSU team that lost their starting center and right tackle who will probably be a first rounder and have had a constant shuffle that has affected their run game....this would affect any team .....they will run but they will be throwing the ball all over the field this time that will put stress on Tennessee's back end like they have never seen
Mhmm
Will Howard will be running for his life
The only reason Arkansas hurt and beat Tennessee was because they had a running quarterback.
Most teams in college football have at least one running back
I think (hope) Heupel has been keeping the QB run game hidden for the playoffs. A few more designed QB runs have been popping up.
He is spot on about Will Howard. He will absolutely ruin a season. He makes horrible decisions at crucial times. We would have beat Oregon and TTUN with Brown at QB. Any little pressure and he folds like a blanket.
Everybody does realize this is a road game for Tennessee, right?
Here’s Heupel’s record in big time road games:
0-2 at Florida
0-2 at Georgia
0-2 at Bama
Lost in 2023 at Missouri
The only good win was in 2022 at LSU. That’s it for the bigger games on the road.
Go Vols if either Team win the Naty will be LEGEND!!!
tennessee is not beating ohio state in columbus that is one of the most difficult places to play the VOLS defense may keep them in it but i can guarantee that dylan wont be running the ball against them
I feel the refs will play a big part of this game as usual.
The weather isnt that different. Its snowing in Tennessee right now.
@@uni4rm yeah, I don’t agree with the weather being that much different, but notice I said it would hinder both teams. That being said, Tennessee players were calling for sideline heaters in a 55 degree game a few weeks ago.
@@Labhran no, they were upset because Georgia's sideline had heaters and conveniently the heaters on the visitor sideline weren't working
Will be interesting on how each scheme is defended.
Great analysis (from what I could understand). 😂 No mention of special teams, which determine many SEC games.
Game time temps will be 20 degrees and winds around 15mph....Won't be easy to throw or kick field goals imo
Cold weather. Smokey mountains. Rocky Top. I live in middle TN. 28 degrees this morning 😂
Actually Tennessee is really good in the backend.. years before that was the problem. Just saying.
GBO! VFL!
Just want to see Heupel start early with the tempo. Not using it as a weapon in the bag for later. Come out and get that engine running right out of the box. If you need to throttle back later fine but come out and show it early. Let that defense do its job. No more playing it safe, we made the playoffs, time to let it loose.
Can't keep talking arkansas. Our defense had to learn and since then we have. No more
Ohio State beats Ohio State. Let their coaches lead them to a loss.
The teams are definitely comparable. However: Heupel > Day
Also another 4D fact. Tennessees defense hits hard. The starting QB hasn’t finished 10 outta 12 games.
If Ohio State plays there A game they will win. Go Buckeyes!
My nephew has down syndrome and he loves to watch David .. Him seeing another person that also has down syndrome is inspiring to him. And he loves football and youtube! So it makes my heart happy when he gets excited seeing David !
Ohio State will prevail.
Well said on all points. One thing though. Ohio State needs to be able to kick a field goal. How many did they miss in the last game?
2
Tennessee is a running team, which is what you need to be good at to beat these suckeyes, but Tennessee is also not as good defensively as Michigan at its best and they don't have the experience against the suckeye offense that Michigan has. I expect Cryan Day to come out like they did in against Georgia in 2022 and like they always do against Penn State, and that will overwhelm Tennessee.
Statistically Vols defense is better than Michigan.
Awesome !!
"there's something about this cat throwing that I don't trust."
Here in Columbus, we're saying the same thing.
Nothing weak about Tennessee back end Lol
Gibson and McCoy have been dominate all year. I’m wondering what this statement is based of
Hey Ike Barinholtz,
They are playing in Columbus Ohio 😂
Man, I think y'all only watched the last game of the season. Howard got hurt really badly.
He’s recovered
@Jleed989 not in that game he didn't. Maybe now he's ok.
Not going to lie dude was concussed
Michigan doubled up receivers on J Smith and they were PI-ing him CONSTANTLY. Michigan CBs played dirty
Ohio state being down 2 starting offensive linemen and a backup is troubling. I’m taking Tennessee
In all honesty, i dont blame them for gettinf the title wrong. All the musical chairs we've already seen makes me feel like by the time Tennessee faces Oregon, they will have it at the Mayo bowl.....maybe they think it should be the pop tarts bowl.....
Will OSU get competent game-day coaching this time?.
Tenn 24 Nuts 27 I think the Nuts win just because its at the Shoe. If it was at Neyland, i would take Tenn.
Fair take
IF the Bucks can muster even a halfway coherent O Line , not only will they beat Tenn, but they’ll run the table. IF
Chip Kelly did call the offense in the Michigan game. It was Ryan Day wanting to prove how tough Ohio State is. It was an disaster. Chip Kelly would never call a game that pathetically.
Chip Kelly did not call...
One key in this game for TN Dropped Passes ...tend to drop way to many they shouldnt..
Based on the thumbnail for this video, apparently the "Grey's" have taken an interest in Earthling College Football! Haha
This is in Columbus, not Pasadena.
Where is the prediction?
When talking heads fail to mention jermod mccoy and boo carter I know they don't know anything about Tennessee. Jermod McCoy has been the standout player this season. More than Dylan Sampson, more than anyone. Boo Carter will be a future pro. Our secondary doesn't get nearly enough respect, and they do deserve it.
The Ohio state hate in the media is wild. Everybody like “OH RYAN DAY SUCKS!!” “OH OHIO STATE QBS SUCK! BAD RUN GAME!”
Ryan Day doesn’t call the offensive plays.
When is this game?
Dec 21 at 8:00 pm
How about the coaching difference, nerds? Vols are about to steal lots of OSU fans
Tennessee played 1 good team and 1 decent team this year.
They lost to the good team and beat the decent team (Alabama, who is in a down year) by a touchdown?
What is Ohio State record against the SEC the last 20 years
If Ryan Day wants to win, identify one favorable single match up and exploit it.
You don't have anywhere thay wr can't match or exceed what you have. Our defense, run game, and special teams are all better than OSU's.
Jerome McCoy will get a pick 6
OSU has no field goal threat to win at crunch time….
Going to be a close game. I think Tennessee needs to score 27 to win
Ohio State has a better defense so if Tennessee can score 20 pts or more they might win but they will only score 17 so they will lose! Write it down
Michigan was sitting in 2 high safety for most of the game since their front 7 help up against the run and was able to pressure Will Howard. Tennessee can try to do this, but the Buckeyes should be ready for this having seen this for an entire game against the Wolverines.
Every Ohio fan is really scared for this game.
Not scared I’m excited
We ready to prove the world wrong Go Bucks 🌰🏈
