    You could use a dot of UV resin to attach the resin bubbles to the card. Small drop and then use the light to harden.

    This is so super helpful! I do embossing a little bit but never really seen videos where anyone really explains things properly or gives a bit more detail, so this is ideal thank you! This is the perfect journal for all the shinies!

    The bubbles are such a cool ides. The dripping piece would be good for a winter scene as they look like icicles.

    One technique I’ve seen is to mod pudge the paper, then use resin after it dries. Resin jewellers do this when they put paper image in a cabochon.. you may want to test first as I haven’t tried it for two sided pattern paper.

    Your video inspired me so much! I don't have embossing, but I can use glitter glue and white and gold get pens. I could also use gouache or acrylic paint to create white waves with some texture. Thanks for the ideas!

      @@hitherandyonstudio Oh what a shame. Whatever I was watching didn't tell me there was a live, and this message appeared after it finished lol. I have all sorts of trouble catching lives around the U.S. (or the planet) as of course I usually don't know what time zone you live in. I love the UV - will order some!

    While I was watching I had this brain blast… how about reprinting just that one page. Then you can gloss the spots you want, cut them out, and apply them to the booklet (assuming you figure out how to glue it down)

    Could you add a little embossing powder to the resin to add some color before it hardens? Just wondering...

    • @hitherandyonstudio
      @hitherandyonstudio  22 дні тому +1

      They make pigments specifically for resin. Best to use those. ❤️

    I don't like products that are enviroment unfriendly, plus the fumes of the resin are too dangerous for my free roaming parrots. Although I like the ideas, I skip on these techniques. I don't use glitter and embossing powders for the microplastics either. No disrespect for people who do use them, though.
