Following a run of four incendiary 12-inches on his own imprint that drew attention from right across the dance music community, UK producer and DJ Paul Woolford delivers Soul Music, his debut full-length album as Special Request - diving even deeper into the raw energy of UK pirate radio influences that informed his previous EPs.
Available on triple vinyl LP; whilst the double CD and digital versions include a bonus volume featuring the Special Request VIP of Tessela's 'Hackney Parrot' alongside the remix of Lana Del Rey's 'Ride', further tracks from the previous 12-inches, plus unreleased reworks from Detroit's Anthony Shakir, New York's Anthony Naples, Leipzig's Kassem Mosse & Mix Mup, Chicago's Hieroglyphic Being and London's Lee Gamble. Buy the vinyl LP from the Houndstooth store and get WAVs of the album plus the bonus volume for free: bit.ly/HTH012

I like this track. The bass line reminds me of Way Out West - Apollo

Great :)
How does one make such an EPIC bassline?? Tutorials anywhere??
Hi
Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works 1
I think also about AFX but in Body armour which sounds as... I Care Because You Do and some drill'n'bass compositions reminds me about his album from 1996
This music reminds me good old Detroit techno from late 80's(I know that Aphex used techno as well but for me it's more Model 500 or Rhytim is Rhytim than Richard's work😁).But I think you compare it with him bc of ambient.Am I right?)
😘
Spe-cial-re-quest
or Aphex Twin
or Africa Bambaataa
Electro or Techno it doesn't matter. It's almost the same genre
Reminds me of Kraftwerk.
Model 500 and any old Detroit techno DJs. And maybe IDM artists like Aphex Twin
