Dr. I have been giving 4 diagnoses of glaucoma and 1 Dr, diagnoses Coloboma. It is hard to conclude one or another. I live in Providence RI and im 62 years old woman. How to get a proper diagnoses.
@texan4lyf I've had it since birth. It's a deformity of the eye in first week's development. There are different kinds. I also had strambismus in the same eye as coloboma (The eye went to the right) had surgery 2 years ago to correct it. I've ran into things all my life. It's my right eye . I am blind in right eye. My eyes are blue so always sensitive to light. Have headaches, and I see double vision. As my right eye is trying to work , it's the weaker of the two. Vision is 20/350
You may experience him if hes unable to see out of the damaged eye well, running into things like walls posts or compensating and looking further to one way or another it's there another it's been difficult but I've adapted to it have to cheat on my driver's test lol

I'm sorry for so many questions I just don't know many people with this condition and the only person that has knowledge on this is his doctor
I am 22 years old and yesterday during my regular eye checkup i found that i have choroidal coloboma...but it didn't affect my eyes through childhood... although i wear specs since 2 years. Is it necessary to lose sight?

Yes it does. Have a handicap ♿️ placard. But in California to be eligible for disability one has to be blind in both.
