this is incredible. the 480p adds something a higher resolution could not.
this version is so much more powerful than the album version. i love it.
this is the first version of the song i heard and is the version i'd always to. then like 2 years ago, i was listening to the album at work and when it got to this song, i realized some of the things it was about that i missed listening to this version and it absolutely floored me. literally. i worked in the meat department's cooler at a grocery store idk why it hit so hard that morning but i just sat down on the floor for half an hour while i decompressed.
Agreed, it was the first thing I ever saw / heard of Kyla. Haunting and brilliant!
Love this version! Was disappointed it had changed on the album. This one is much sadder (IMO), and more dynamic.

Simply lovely and multidimensional, no she is not glamorizing suicide, she is singing thoughtful lyrics..too beautiful to sadden anyone, as speaking to an ex love of those which hit us hard... but are not for life.

Although both versions are great, I actually prefer this one a little bit.
But what I find fascinating is that while the tone is different in both versions, the lyrics fit both wonderfully!

Am I the only one who almost feels like this could also easily be interpreted as
the mindset of a person who wants to kill themselves not because they can't handle life, but because they honestly think disappearing off the planet will make things easier for everyone else? The biggest thing being that even as they realize that such a thing would most likely wrack even with grief, so they try to reassure them that it's all okay?
Because that's almost how it feels to me.
Since I heard her voice I haven't been listening to anything else... She's amazing.

Beautiful song, builds to the climax dramatically. Video less colourful and EDM than her most recent which seem more like Kate Bush for the 2020s. Greatly enjoy her evolution from the first time I saw her in 2014

I believe i get the meaning of this video. She she has tears drawn on her face, and she proclaims "I am carrying my cold heart home" which is the heavy stone she carries to the pool. and to wash her tears she has to get into the pool, but her "heavy stone" will weigh her down and she is drowning. Until she lets go of her "Heavy Stone" and emerges without the tears that got washed off in the pool.
