- Richard and I rode out of Colorado into Utah, Montana, and Idaho before we split up, and this is a very interesting dude making it count despite having recently lost a leg in a motorcycle crash. I have been fascinated with disabled motorcycle rider for quite some time, and I hope you find him as interesting as I do.
I love this guy! Enormous recovery. Mullet Monster power. Needs to be guest speaking to high schools!!!
+1
Really good interview. He's a good positive influence for other amputees. Doesn't seem to have slowed him down a bit. Well done.
Super good attitude about the whole thing it's funny how something like that ends some people and barely slows others down
Really enjoyed this one. Great that he’s so open about how he rides with it and that he doesn’t play victim, hard to have that attitude so close to the accident.
Inspirational!
What an incredible story and a badass, dude. I hope I get to meet Scooter Mullet sometime. Thanks for sharing this.
Love the attitude, get back on that horse! Can't believe you went through that mud on that bike, proves... The bike doesn't matter! Keep on keepin' on! Good stuff.
That’s cool and crazy he is back so fast.I’m still limping for breaking my toe may 31st
This guy is pretty damn cool! 😎
Thank God Scooter didn’t succumb to a trike right away. That is a big fear of mine. Will I have to turn my Glide into a Tri-Glide??
Gonna be hard.
Hope to see you guys in Sturgis or Omaha sometime.
I have always said that will ride on two wheels until the day I cannot. The next day I will buy a trike. Hang in there as long as you can on two wheels and I’ll see you down the road.

Cool dude. Thanks for posting.
I was going to ask about mounting and demounting, which leg he used. Glad he still has good balance on his bad leg! Hard to hear, this happened this March?
He mounts from the right - says it is easier.
He said he has issues goin uphill, how is his foot as far as pressing down on the foot brake goes.?
Good question. The ultra classic has forward controls. Pressing on the brake is much the same as it is in a car. Only difference now as opposed to before is that I use my knee joint to press forward rather than my ankle.

Watching this one right meow. Love it.

@@MotoGiant Thanks!
I wonder how much he got in the settlement. A lot I hope.
Can’t hear Dons voice at all
Gov't finally increased my income by 1250 a month. I'm on the lookout for a small go anywhere bike that has saddlebag capability.
I've had a G310GS for two years and have been very happy with it as a small go almost anywhere bike. It's not as off road capable as the dual sport bikes I've owned but it's much nicer on the road. Maybe hold out until October through December when manufacturers and dealers are eager to clear out old bikes to make room for next year's bikes rather than pay tax on the inventory. I got a great deal on a new 2019 with 3 year warranty as the 2021 model was about to be released.
Cool dude. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching!
