i topped off my 2020 corolla from 29 to 33psi in 5min, def still recommend for everyone, great way to top off for breaks on longer trips or or even just throughout the week for work commute
I’d definitely recommend the ryobi 18v one. I use it for pool rafts. Tire top offs ,trailer tires wheel barrow. Sports equipment. Works great. If you have the 18v battery it’s $49 right now.
who needs to inflate a car tire from 0 psi to 32? The only time that happens is if you have a PUNCTURE and it needs to be patched up anyways. This looks like it's great for top-offs of car tires as it says on the package....like adding an extra PSI or two to the tire during the winter months.
It's not always an instant deflate puncture. Sometimes there's a leak that takes several hours to impart a flat and you don't see it until you get off work and are in a grumpy mood already (unless you are a machoistic and love your job). Filling up to get to a tire repair saves a ton of money rather than calling for mobile repair, if it is available where the flat occurs. Many new cars do not come with a spare, so there is no swapping the tire yourself, if you possess the skill. A tire inflator is something everyone should have in their car and only a FOOL would think otherwise (I can use all caps just like you, ain't I special), just not this gimmick device. The newer adverts remove cars completely from this things capabilities.
It does take a while to air up, best for top off, smaller tires, carry extra battery or a bigger air compressor you can use from with cigarette adapter.
It could do that... but I would buy this instead TBH: www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-Portable-Inflator-Kit-with-1-5-Ah-Battery-and-18V-Charger-P737DKN/311788879
Any tire inflator you plan to keep in the car must have a car lighter plug and work off a car battery just in case. Otherwise its battery will discharge overtime which will leave you with a non-working tool when you need it the most simply because you forgot to charge it and you will.
Agree, the black and decker matrix had an attachment for topping off tires and small stuff at that same size as the ryobi 4volt inflator. Only for small stuff. I also saw it at the store, knew it right away it's not for cars. Ain't got all day to inflate car tires.
Hmmm. Yes? If you want around 30lbs of air before the battery dies. That's all it can do. But trust me, you don't want to hold your finger on that button for that long lol
You could still bring it back to HOME DEPOT and Ryobi are both very good at taking things back and all you have to say is it just was something I didn’t like for another comment they make an 18 V unit that will blow up the tire but even that small one will take about five minutes they make a bigger one that will blow up that tire in about a minute and 30 seconds of course they don’t have one that will match that 30 seconds you did but you want something small enough to put in your car they make an 18 V one that is not that much bigger than the one that you bought about maybe twice the size but the big difference is it does take the 18 V battery anyways if you’re not happy with it you should bring it back I purchased one myself I wanted something really small to pump up a little teeny tire the tire only goes to 26 pounds It pumps the tire up in about 22 seconds thank you for your video it was a very good video
you cant expect much from something that tiny. space is a huge factor when trying to get performance out of an air compressor. that thing is so tiny. when i saw that it had storage and a light i knew it would suck. that compressor needed 100 percent of that tool space to have a chance. the 18 volt hand held is better but still wouldn't use for full flat tires. they are great for the keeping your tire at the psi it needs to be and adding 5 to 10 when needed
My car has 9.5 inch x 19 tyres on the rear I took the valve out and completely deflated the tyre. I inflated the tyre back up to 35 psi with my 4v Ryobi and still had power left. I WILL NOT be returning mine.
This is an absolute piece of 5h!t. It cannot inflate a 700c x 28 tyre. A cheap chinese inflator works better on my TT bike. I've been inflating tyres for years and definitely NOT going away from manual pumps. This was a HUGE waste of money.
Not too bright are you? You mentioned motorcycle tires and YET tested it on a car tire. Most cars have spare tires. Those that don’t usually have their own dedicated air pump or a can of tire sealant. Even then, filling the car to just 20psi would be more than sufficient to then drive to a service station. It would have been very informative to see a test as to whether it could handle a roadside repair of a motorcycle flat.
I use this little compressor on my chemical sprayer. has been a life saver
Thanks for the video. I was wondering how well it could top off vehicle tyres. Got my answer. 👍
Glad I could help!

YES! I own this as well. Thing is legit for sure!
I got the big 18v one and love it
Ok

I wonder how much better it would do with the 3ah battery vs 2ah battery. Might be a good thing to keep on my ebike.
Seems like something you'd keep in the trunk just in case

Yes it does - also danger of your button pressing finger falling off lol
Would you recommend it for adjusting 2lbs on a motorcycle tire? I check my air often, so only minor adjustments.
It could do that... but I would buy this instead TBH: www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-Portable-Inflator-Kit-with-1-5-Ah-Battery-and-18V-Charger-P737DKN/311788879
Seems like this might be a good option for a bicycle where storage is limited
Yes! Bikes or balls
I also purchased one and will be taking it back. Battery isn't good and it takes forever to pump up anything...
Yes, it's slow with anything other than a beach ball or bicycle tire
thanks... looking for an emergency pump. can mark this off my list
You going for battery or a cigarette lighter good with you?

How much did it inflate up to though? It's hard to tell since the car is jacked up.
29lbs right when the battery died :)
Would it get you out of trouble when you have a flat and after you have plugged it.

Thank you! Yes, I returned it. I bought a different style for my 4-wheeled vehicles... I'd planned to keep the Ryobi on on the motorcycle.
Ghostrider folding table? I approve.
Haha it's the freezer in the garage - please check in there first if I suddenly fall off the face of the earth ;)
Thx I wish I would of saw this video before I purchased it

Yeah, my thumb can't take holding the button for that long!
Good for soccer mom that’s about it.
Hah, yes, that's not me :)

That sucks. Hopefully you kept the receipt :)
Mind aswell walk home, made for bikes, balls, and balloons.
lol!

I willl never submit! haha

Brighter than some, less than others!
