Hi team! 💜 A video that we have which is ~very~ much related to this one is our previous video about how to make your journaling a habit. Worth checking out if you hadn't already! ua-cam.com/video/V0qVqRTjT7s/v-deo.html 💪
I actually keep my journal in the bathroom. So each morning I fill out a certain section of pages and then before I go to bed I fill out the rest. I have it set up so that I start my day with affirmations and gratitude and I end my day with things that brought me joy and when I was the best version of myself. I also have trackers for health and self-care and relationships. I do my setup in a comfy chair and bring all of my supplies with me. I too fill in with just a black pen because it's easy to do no matter where I am.
This came at a good time. There's a massive gap in my journal from April. Hoping I can pick it back up next month.
Hopefully these tips help 💜
You aren’t the only one
I feel this! I abandoned mine in June because the main pen I was using for the theme ran out and I couldn't find a replacement and it just made me abandon it. 😭
Me too since April.
Such a good video and great tips! Seriously.
Had to comment because I think I have an unpopular opinion on this matter: at some points of my life, there was indeed a huge gap in my bujo, mainly because I didn't really need it at the time. Bujo gives me a framework when I don't have one. But when it was the end of the semester for example, and exam season came around, I had a framework. Also, if you find you can't keep up with your bujo at all - maybe it isn't the tool for you. And that's okay too! It's also okay if it's on and off again, life changes and we can adapt to new situations with or without our bujo :)
*Bujoing for 5-6 years at this point, no hate or anything, just a different pov 😁🙏🏼
straight to the point! thank you my horrible attention span loved that
Haha 💜 Most welcome! 😄
I had too much fun reading the playlist, and from now on I'll definitely be imagining you journaling while rocking out to The Macarena. LOL While I'd never consciously thought about it, I realized that I tend to listen to a certain ambiance channel here on YT while journaling. I guess that's my "playlist" for my BuJo.
I like the kind of humor when you said "fire and paper don't mlx well" 5:04. I was like "Wait... didn't she burn her Bujo on purpose for this one monthly theme 😂"
Haha 😂 #LearnedFromExperience
I still think that setup was cool as heck though 😝💜
I love doing mine while having my morning coffee and watching (listening to yt, before my Mum needs my help.
3:46 I love the idea of Dutch doors with the Alistair method opposite 8 square weeklies (good balance for mum & my stuff).
Your videos are the best ❤and im setting up my first bujo
Glad you enjoy them! 💜 Hope your set up is going well 😄
Great tips 🎉
Thanks 😄💜 hope they are helpful 💪
Craft journal like crochet or knitting
I'm not really understanding this. I love my journalling - if I didn't I wouldn't do it!
For me, I'll fall out of journaling when I'm struggling with my mental health. It's actually become a handy warning sign that I'm heading into a depressive episode, which has helped me address things sooner than I would have before.
I also love my journaling....and also struggle to do it sometimes 😂 Especially when I get to mid-month, and some of the "novelty" of my current month's setup has worn off (that and I've normally set up my next month by that point for filming purposes, so I'm just like "👀 oop, wanna use that one!")
@@ShaunaStorySame for me. Abandoning all hobbies I love and enjoy is the first sign of me spiraling down.
Aren't those tips LITERALLY the ones from "Atomic Habits" 🤔 you could at least cite your source so people could read the rest of the book and learn more if they wanted to 🤷♀️
Fair point. We’ve talked about it quite a few times in these types of videos on the channel so must have missed mentioning it in this one 🤔
@@JashiiCorrin maybe 🤷♀ i'm new to your chanel, this was in fact the first video of yours that i saw.
