I have never heard this song. I am an old lady and I don’t listen to what my parents would’ve termed modern music. But I really think they did a great job I find myself humming it during the day.
Adriana asked to do this song, but Cesar’s expressions really make it. A fun little factoid. Geoff and Adriana‘s father are good friends and for her 15th birthday VoicePlay invited her to sing with them. The result was their Frozen 2 medley. That was about 2 1/2 years ago. She is 17 years old now and has one hell of a set of pipes. I can’t wait to see what she does in the future.
As for the song it’s really fast so I think that that makes Layne and Geoff really stand out. As good as the vocals are, and they are great, it’s such a beat driven song that you can’t help but notice the bass and the percussion.
Adriana has appeared with them several times, starting with the medley followed shortly by the Grinch video and then about a year ago they did a cover of Dua Lipa‘s We’re Good. She’s also been in a number of minis.
I'm always here for VoicePlay or Geoff Castellucci covers. Adriana has done three other videos with them and three short videos.
Ariana has done Frozen 2, You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch, We're Good (my favorite and first time Cesar sang with VP) as well as 3 or 4 short or mini songs.
Great reaction! I’d really love to see you react to The Bass Gang’s recent covers. I see you recently reacted to Tomi P’s Hellfire-he’s in the group with three other basses who all have extensive range, and they brought in some incredible featured artists. The most recent is Yellow Flicker Beat.
Layne's gone crazy on this one. And Geoff. Of course the singing is great too. And Cesar with his expressiveness. So cute. We still miss Earl and J.None but Cesar has been a great addition. And their arrangements are always amazing.
This same constellation also did a cover of We're Good, which somehow now feels like a prequel to this one.
Peter Barber, one of the Bass Gang released a new song by himself on his own channel today, which is well worth checking out.
