The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) and contractor Quality Asphalt Paving (QAP) are paving the last fifty miles of the Dalton Highway in a two-year project that is being constructed in 2020 and 2021.
The Dalton Highway, also called the Haul Road, is one of the northern-most roads in the world. It was originally constructed by Alyeska Pipeline Service Company to support the development of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and to service the oil fields on Alaska’s North Slope. It is now owned and maintained by the State of Alaska and is open to the public year-round.
Many Harley dealers won't work on older bikes. Since the dealer John went to also sells Harley, they may have that policy for all brands. More than likely though, they just didn't want to help John out. Cretins.

Hi Beverly. I would love to go see the wooden bridge. I have a school friend went to school together in the late 60s-the mid 70s and she moved to Anchorage , Alaska . Got married and he is a airline mechanic. She loves it there. They moved back to Tucson for 6 months and she said they couldn't stand it and went back to Alaska 🍙🏔️ she said it's very expensive to live there.
