I saw George in this very venue four years after this show when I spent a week at the Montreux Jazz Festival -- one of the greatest weeks of my life!! In one week on this stage I saw George, Lee Ritenour, Pat Metheny with Max Roach and Herbie Hancock, Van Morrison, some international big stars who I had never heard of and many others. And the following week that I did not attend included Miles Davis who would be gone within a couple years -- this venue is now named the Miles Davis Auditorium.
What a great song by George Benson indeed! Because he had a lot of great songs!!! What a great singer! What great memories the 80s bring when he was singing back then!
