Regarding the point about the door hinges: all doors in this game swing both ways, probably just to keep things simple on the dev side, but I would love to see this fixed in the future!

It's all video games. Doors with realistic mechanics don't work in videogames characters get hung up. And glitchy shit happens. They either swing both ways or slide open
@@Jr.BaconCheese actually no, dying light zombie game has one sided door mechanics. Door being jammed/inaccessible from one side. And the need to find a way to the other.
Some games have single side opening doors, but I think these are mainly single player or that can have an animation of the door being opened/closed. It could definitely cause problems in an FPS/multiplayer game

I rather keep using an Assault Rifle to save captured innocents than cause so much civilian casualties and calamity damages.”
Yeah, sure, because a rifle totally can't overpenetrate some terrorist and collateral some poor civillian behind another wall. Submachineguns are clearly the best option, as they allow for an easier time of stabilising downed suspects and often minimise collateral damage. But hurr durr! Muh Assult Roifle!!
@@ironduke5058 yeah it's kind of a weird comment. the impracticality of a minigun is more so it's enormous size and weight... a lot of the time they're the same caliber as an AR-15 or AR-10. with the miniguns based on 5.56 they have a tendency to break apart after hitting a wall, especially the kind of walls we faced in Iraq and Afghanistan....those mud/adobe type walls could take some heavy fire. There is a former Green Beret (two of them infact) as part of the beers and breakdowns channel that talked about being laid in to by a 12.7mm and the wall still holding together when he was in Afghanistan I believe.
Cultist Seige? Yea that was some PTSD inducing shit. Some of them are heavily armored as well, rocking AKs so if you don't bring serious firepower and armor they put you down hard. Yea ain't no ROE on that one. If it moves it's getting 5 bee stings as fast as you can land em. Of course the HVT is aggressive and armored too so that's fun.
typically speaking, as it's been routinely held up, most relevantly in court when Matt Hoss lost his lawsuit against H3H3, because they posted material from his video with commentary. As the reactor in this case is providing expert commentary, even use of the full video is covered under fair use.
There are some major arteries in the arms and legs, so the target can bleed out pretty fast (maybe three minutes) after they get hit, also gives the guy who might NOT care about your life more chances to shoot back, if you stop shooting after you hit an arm or a leg, normally if you shoot and don't want to die, you keep doing so until they're on the floor writhing in pain or motionless and I've seen cops tap downed suspects that started moving, which might be because you never know if they have just enough energy to quickly point their gun at you and pull the trigger. Hand shots can cripple for life, but also are pretty hard to do considering how small of a target hands are, let alone fingers, so center mass and head might be the only real "I'd like to not die while doing my job." choices in most scenarios. Not that people don't survive getting shot there. Apparently it's not uncommon, some people even survive getting an entire magazine getting dumped into them.
I feel like I heard about a documented case of that happening. I may be wrong though. Either way I'm pretty sure it would be by blind luck rather than intentional.
Space not yet cleared that cannot be seen from the breach point of a room or hallway. Take for example entering a center fed room where u can't see what's on the left side of the room from the door, that space or area that cannot be seen by the breaching team on the left is referred to as "deadspace"

It's been suggested alot on the discord however I believe the developers said it fucked with the ai
Someone could also make a mod for it. but yeah getting the ai working properly especially on a big map is going to be a headache
