This is one beauty..........double six series 2, thumbs up!
Yes it’s a lovely car 🚗
SUPERB !!
GOOD PRESENTATION. GOD BLESS YOU SIR.
Thank you Tundeadden
There are those that say that after some 30 years since production stopped , that this car has actualy been surpassed and improved on . They are wrong . Yes other makes of car may handle better , may be more fuel efficient , may have more gizmo's but for sheer class oozing from every juncture and the fact that this car is inaudible , something not even Jaguar have managed to improve upon let alone the likes of Mercedes or that upstart BMW . My car is a last of the line 1992 japanese imported Daimler series 3 double six It is motoring magnificence personified . I drive it gently to the speed limits , dont thrash it , nor explore its handling . I just drive it and take it from me , you cant get a better car . Dont believe me ? Ask Derek Mathewson .
You are very passionate about this car Jonathan it certainly is a lovely model
These old dutchess I have an unheathly obsession with them. I am the custodian of 2 of them. One was my mums, she loved evry second driving it, the other I bought as a non runner, but the monoque is extremely good. It doesn't realy matter to me that neither of them run, I get enjoyment just looking at them through the window. They're works of art.
Absolutely after 50 years they are still trying catch up on the original XJ6 design it’s a truly amazing car
Having owned mine for over 40 years 👍👍
Love the series 2 Daimler/Jaguars,
Had a Series 3 HE version of this in the late 80's, lovely car - even with horrific fuel consumption - but always a work in progress which is what made me change.
Thank you for your comments black buck
Wonderful car.
It sure is!
Very beautiful car. Thanks for the video!
1:45 these black JVC speakers are the "cherries on top" of that £56k upgrade. =]
6:37 the steering wheel requires an upgrade to a bright wooden one... just my little thoughts. =)
The red piping on the door pillers and center consol makes it look tacky cheap .
I wouldn’t put it that strongly, but I agree, although it’s nicely done it takes away from the otherwise tasteful interior
This cars beautiful. Worth evry penny. People are paying more for old landrovers.
Yes it’s all very strange
@@Classiccarstories don't get me wrong, I have old landrovers, but I bought 30 years ago when they were reasonably priced. But now, jese they're stupid priced.
Car is currently up for auction at Historics Auctioneers, hope everything's OK with the owner in this video
How was ride? Smooth, cushioned, quiet?
Yes a lovely ride
@@Classiccarstories Would love to travel in one at some point.
CAN I STILL GET THIS TYPE TO PURCHASE?
Hi Tundeaden, not sure if the car is still available
lovely! Has he sold it yet? I would be interest.
Send me your email and I can pass it on to
