BRO I THINK I GET IT. The ending scene for the secret ending gives all the info to link it all. After the betrayal, in which she loses her "humanity", where her glitch, or "soul" is removed by future mono, she feels nothing but survival instinct, including HUNGER. She dropped him because she no longer felt companionship, or any reason to save his life, and after she escapes, her previous soul shows her a poster to the boat from the first game, where she would "feast". And mono with his memories all together from the initial run relives the event of little nightmares 2 over and over in his mind, which would show how his future self had so much control over time and space, slowing down his previous form and sasha to try to make a change. In reality only the secret end scene is real, as he would have no way of seeing what happened to her. Mono's stuck in a never-ending nightmare where he's forced to relive the same events that led to his betrayal in which he tries to make change but is cursed to never be able to stop his smaller and crafty self, so there is a loop going on in his own version of hell.
I like how when mono falls, he always screams. But when six dropped him, he didn't scream. Like he didn't expect it at all. He trusted her and was shocked that she just let go.
or maybe it's because when our bodies , due to the panic and stress in that situation shut off . so monos body (if he's even human) possibly shut off from the panic and stress he felt when one of his dearest friends abandoned (and possibly killed) him like that all of the sudden. so ,, body randomly shutting off = no time to react to anything and fainting
She made him into the tall man though. My theory is that she had enough of him because every time they were together they always ended up in trouble. The only reason she held his hand when he made the leap was so that she could take his power to escape through the TV door because without him or his power she would also be stuck.

My theory is that she seen the tall mans face and then realized it was him. That’s why at the ending of the game they deliberately make him get rid of the bag covering his face so she can see it.
How can six saw similarities between a child and an isolated adult? So does this mean she knows about the time loop? The paradox? This just made more questions rather than answers

For everyone confused what basically happened is a loop a never ending loop. older mono tries to stop younger mono from repeating that loop but younger mono kills him therefore the loop continues. When Sasha was drag into the tv she found out what mono was gonna become but she didn’t know if her actions (either if she picked him up or dropped him) would affect him becoming like that so she was scared to be with him therefore dropped him which plays into the loop. Now big TWIST turner the secret ending shows shadow six her future where it is the ending to game 1. Sasha is actually the gasha lady or the final battle in game 1 that is her future self. Also why she doesn’t like to look at mirrors is because her powers if she looks people in the eyes she can make them wither( such as the eyeballs in game 1) she made them. And mono the reason why younger six and mono are being chased is because older mono has everyone trying to get them he controls everything. In the 1st game it is the same, future Sasha knows her younger self will be coming for her soon therefore having people after Sasha. Basically a never ending loop hole. For anyone confused also It is my view on it :)

Why Sasha let go of mono ;; Sasha knew mono was going to become thin man, but remember when Sasha got pulled into the television? Well in Sasha's eyes, mono betrayed Sasha when she got pulled into the television!! Sasha thought mono betrayed her, sasha also pulled mono out of the tv all those times because she KNEW what he would turn into. Why mono became thin man ;; Well mono is basically stuck in a time loop that keeps repeating over and over again. So thin man was mono and when thin man died, mono became thin man once again. Basically meaning thin man was revived. And remember the very start of the game when mono came out from that tv? THAT WAS APART OF THE TIME LOOP!! Btw, little nightmares 3 is coming soon and it's 2 player! It does have different characters though, you can watch the trailer if you want to!! Idk I feel like he can change the outcome but that depends if mono as the new thin man does something different. But I guess thats just my opinion since I want mono to have a good ending.
I feel so conflicted!! I mean on one hand I feel like slapping sasha across the room, but then again i can understand why she acted the way she did. I think she perceived Mano as the Thin guy (who mind you, up to this point had kidnapped her). Then by doing the notorious action, Sasha's condemning Mano again and again to a heartwrenching, and most notably, eternal cycle. Whether it is done knowingly or not, she betrayed Mano though, I don't think I can get past that lol
To clear things up for the people who are reviewing and still don’t understand the ending, if you recall in the beginning of the game baggy broke down to door thinking that he was helping her but what he was really doing was ruining her peace. As we saw in the beginning of the game she wasn’t reluctant to leave the home which is odd because usually people who are captive are happy to be set free. But Six went along with him because she was bored and she saw an opportunity to leave the world. You could see she was bored because she wasn’t really interested in helping she was playing with toys, walking slowly, and sense she was kinda annoyed by the fact that baggy ruined her peace she even took it so far as to ruthlessly kill one of the students in the school. And when she finally snapped was when baggy had the opportunity to help her from the tall guy (older version of baggy). And then he hid under the bed, that made her feel like she was betrayed. And then you realize that the tall guy wasn’t trying to kill six he was just trying to save baggy from that fate. But Six ended up being happy in the world where the tall guy took her just because she had peace and her music box. UNTIL baggy came and “saved her” she got angry and started becoming violent. And when baggy teleported to that world with the door he broke it down just like in the start when he took away her peace. And you can even see her frustration when he saved her because she had her head held low. And she just wanted to leave no more games, and she…let…go. The reason why Sasha (a.k.a. Six) “betrayed” or as i would say “let go of mono” is because mono is the younger version of the t.v. Slender man guy and Sasha could sense his darkness so that’s why she took a minute to think weather she should do it or not and she thought not to bc he was her bsf but she had to do it for her own good. I like the theory of Mono creating this casual paradox and him looping as the Thin Man and Six looping as The Lady in the Maw. We first see Six with the music box and the classic song it plays, The Lady hums the same song, the Maw is in the shape of the music box, and Mono is the one who destroys something they really hammer in is important to her. Too bad Tarsier just announced they are done with Little Nightmares a few days ago. But there could be more Little Nightmares but not done by them which sounds kinda eh.

Sasha betrayed him. That’s why Mono became like that, years of depression. Mono cared so much for her and literally wanted to run away with her. He saved her so many times and gave his all just for her to drop him. Mono was just trying to save himself from that happening but instead, younger mono killed his older self. Which means it’ll just be a loop for Mono. My theory is, little nightmares 2 is what actually happened before Sasha went on that boat. As you saw on the start of the game she didn’t have the yellow raincoat. She betrayed her friend and went to start a new life without him. This game honestly had a huge plot twist.

To me it seemed he didn't want to hurt her, he wanted to keep her safe in a twisted sort of way. He gave her a music box and a room full of toys where she wouldn't be hurt ever again, but that distorted her, confinement broke her
Theory~ Mono is stuck in a time loop, and even though The Thin Man seems to be a villain, he actually is not. He is actually a victim. I believe he tries to reach out to his past self, which is why Mono is drawn to the door. If you pay attention, Thin Man never harms Mono, when he catches him, he just holds him, like he’s trying to stop him from something. He could’ve gotten him when he catches Six but doesn’t because she was the goal. He is trying to stop the betrayal from happening, which leads to his imprisonment in the tower. Six loses her soul in The tower, which is what leads to her hunger at the end. The tower is actually the creature with all the eyeballs, the illusion coming undone as Mono destroys the illusion taking hold of Six. The interesting part is how Mono finds Six in the same position as he does at the beginning, her with her comfort which was the music box. Also, I believe the tower traps Mono and uses his powers to warp the city. Mono’s powers revolve around the signals/tvs and some semblance of control over space and time? Not too sure how to explain this, but it makes sense with him meeting his younger self. But I believe he is stuck in a loop. And this leads me to believe Six is also in a loop. The Lady in the first game is Six. Six goes and kills her, in my opinion to take her soul, and then goes through killing all the inhabitants in the Maw trying to eat their souls to fill the void hers left. Sorry this is all so confusing and all over the place!
I think this :- So for me the thin man was not killing us but actually saving us from her. As he knew that he can trap one of us to separate us from each other well.. why did she bitrayed us? Yes so she did that all because we broke her music box the only thing that kept her happy and calm you could see it every time even in the cabin of the hunter that music kept her and you could even see that when she became a monster she was actually sharing it with us but we had to save her from that monster making music box but she did not understand she was like when parents keep your toys away for your own good but you feel angry for that. The thin man aka tall mono took her so that the loop breaks but unfortunately old Mono's Heart wasn't as powerful and mono the small one was ready to do anything to save her. When she became a monster you could see that the time was like revert back to the hunters cabin we had to break the door with the axe in both of these and probably this was the reason that whenever we broke the music box we went to a dark place because that was actually where we started and even six playing the music box in both of the places and as she ran away and left us behind in the cabin because she was scared of us as we broke her peace and the same happend in the end she was angry at us as we broke the peace again. Yes getting to the secret ending the secret ending meant a lot here was when shadow six met six (if you see close whenever six eats a shadow figure of her appear standing) and that was the picture of no other place but the place we were in the little nightmares 1 and that means that six who took the place of the lady was actually six too like little nightmares 2 was mono's loop little nightmares 1 was Six's loop and that means that six was no other than the lady that's why the lady hums the same song which came from the music box and was scared of the mirror because it shows that how bad she is but the moment she realised it was too late. And that is the only reason that the lady did not attack six at the last because she accepted defeat which she knew had to happen. It was the shadow six and the eye monster who made six hungry. I think this ending fits perfectly with both of these quotes: "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" and "it's funny how sometimes the people you'd take a bullet for are the ones behind the trigger"
Okay, 2nd quote does fit in well. But the first is not really true. The Thin Man that Mono slowly turns into after Six betraying him is actually a good guy. He comes out of the tv and captures Six when we hide to save his younger self from experiencing betrayal again. Why he still chases and captures us tho is to stop us from saving Six otherwise that event at the cliff will happen all over again. He is trying to help and break this repetitive cycle that he's going through with his younger self. Another thing to note that some people don't even seem to talk about or notice is that the Thin Man in his tower after capturing Six and we fight him to save her, we see Six with the music box and listening to it peacefully and quietly but this time as a monster. She was at the very beginning as well. So He must feel bad for breaking that music box because he must of realized that was her only comfort, only for Mono to defeat his older self again and keep destroying making her back to normal and not like us anymore. It honestly breaks my heart that he still helps and cares for Six after what she done... So you see Mono and Thin Man are not necessarily bad guys at all..

I feel like the Thin Man wasn't attacking Mono he might have been going after Sasha because she betrayed him. Because he knew that, he kept trying to get her until he ended up kidnapping her at the end which leads her to finding out that its him and her betraying Mono again it's a loop.
i was thinking about this except what if sasha doesn't find out that slenderman is mono and the real reason she dropped him was because she was too hungry and wouldn't have been able to control her hunger if mono went with her.
Holy hell this game is deep… it teaches about corruption, manipulation, betrayal, self hate, self acceptance, and most of all, becoming your own worst enemy
The series does not imply things, but it shows a lot of hints as to how all the adults of these buildings are actually just overgrown kids that don't know what they are doing, a doctor treating inanimate objects, a teacher teaching airhead students, chefs passionately cooking for gluttons, a janitor taking care of kids instead of cleaning etc...
@2Cats4Me it’s okay! I’m willing to wait, especially if he’s gonna post his LN3 gameplay. He’s such a fun UA-camr. I can’t watch/read/play horror or anything of the sort - tragic, really - so he’s the only UA-camr I can turn to and watch horror gameplays of, which is one of the reasons he’s so beloved to me.
In the secret ending, it’s shown that after 6 betrayed Mono, she was able to gain his powers! Once she went through the TV using his powers, a shadow like glitch version of 6 appears. On the piece of paper what’s drawn is actually The Maw, which is the ship/location from the original little nightmares game! After that the shadow disappears and 6 becomes hungry. I believe that is not 6, that shadow figure of her must have possessed her and now controls the 6 we know and love. The shadow figure has decided its hungry for more power and travels to the Maw to take more lives to satisfy its hunger, especially going against the first antagonist of the game, the geisha. Through the first little nightmare games we see 6 go through all of these obstacles to try and get to the geisha, which resulted into her starving to the point where she ate bread, raw meat, a dead rat, and sadly the runaway kid which Cory had labeled “7”. As we know, that still wasn’t enough for the monster, so once she finally arrives and beats the Geisha the monster is finally ready to feast, and eats her with no remorse. After that the shadow seems to grow stronger, as in the end of the game 6 is surrounded by a mass of shadow like swirls, which may show us that 6 did NOT gain the powers on her own so suddenly, it was the monster INSIDE of 6 that did. The monster and I’m guessing Mono’s powers have given 6 her strength to go through everything The Maw threw at us. After that she continued to take the lives of the bigger, obese passengers on the ship. In the end once 6 escaped, she is seen to leave the ship and my theory is, she’s leaving to find someone else who is just as powerful to take over, for the monster that has possessed her, will only get hungrier for more power. The more hungry it is, the more it kills, and the more it kills, the more we begin to lose the 6 we love. I still have hope that our 6 is locked away inside of her, but we'll just have to wait to find out. Side Note: Maybe once 6 was possessed by that monster that made her grow in size, it never fully left. Perhaps it just shrunk itself to fit 6’s size or a spirit is still lodged in there.
ill add more to this : So just to be clear This game is as a whole a prequel to the first game (the devs said its a sequel.....to very little nightmares) (It goes like this: Very Little Nightmares, LN2, LN comics (yes there are comics), And then Little Nightmares 1 and DLC) Thin man always was Mono, and the tower disfigures those who enter the Signal Tower, and it fuels on negative emotions or memories and traps them by using their good memories against them (it did this to six via music box because it makes her calm) every time mono smashes it he remembers saving six when they met, and He basically throughout the end of this game went under a transformation same as everyone especially Six went Even in everything in all games and comics. (years didnt go by time doesnt even matter in this world The Signal Tower Claims everyone even without absorbing them.........via TV or looking at the tower or entering it's bowels only to be trapped) Apparently souls are echos of the past of what the world was like and mono was able to absorb these echos via glitching remains thats why young mono was able to beat thin man mono, plus (thin man was weaker due to six absorbing mono in the ending at least most of his power) When thin man grabbed six it left an echo of herself (its half of her soul since glitching remains are souls) that helps mono, (She also appeared with six in the first game...every time she eats and every time she shows up she is a reminder of when six was with mono through glitch look and soon just general dark six look) and she eats living beings because the power she absorbed demands soul energy and that's the part six non longer has and morals were basically thrown away six isnt evil....shes demanded to survive by consuming soul energy filling the whole glitch six isnt part of anymore The tower utilizes whats left of monos power and affects the world even more around him (and is the cause of the world being so....little nightmares like) and just like six and everyone else it changed him leaving him forever suffering trapped and angry So the time loop is cause by transmissions from the tower (kinda) it doesn't just warp worlds it also defies and affects time, the thin man left an opening to lure his past self due to his leftover power able to reach out beyond past, present, and future, (via TV Transmissions in any timeline: secrets of maw DLC ending as proof for first game ) despite still being trapped he was eventually let out by Mono after opening the door in the Transmission connecting to the Tower, he didn't hesitate to try to get six and mono and Kill them because of what happened (and to prevent the world being what it is because of the two), so he trapped six and left her in the tower instead using the powers he had in LN2 to leave after young mono opened the door to his prison (within the tower) however he fails every time and since then is stuck in this loop he made for himself. He will ALWAYS fail because his Younger self will always be more powerful then him. Six actually absorbed mono's power without eating him (instead by just touching him) because that was her original power...she absorbed enough of his power just so she can leave (she let go of him. Because she did trust him but there were many reasons why she let go: yes he always saves her but she was even in the beginning always in a perilous and scarring journey, she got captured several times and was left to suffer for a bit, and she was the reason pulling mono away from the tv because mono could have used his powers and thus losing her trust, and also there's a chance that she connected Thin man to being Mono since they both have similar powers. However because of this now, there is a drawback to what she did, (secret ending to LN2: six absorbed monos power because she didnt need him to escape however this new power even if its small is new to her body and it changed her completely, she lost her morals, and more importantly half of her soul thanks to the influence of the tower and mono's powers now its replaced by hunger....endless hunger) and thus LN1 begins So apparently the Signal Tower is some kind of SCP cryptid type ....entity it is responsible for the deformities of the world and the people...ALLL of the monstrous designs were caused by the tower even powers anyone has gained. The tower is apparently made of flesh inside (the eye symbols around the game made sense if you saw the endless flesh mass it always have eyes) No one knows how the tower is there but WHY it does what it does is to apparently absorb life force of the people and eventually absorb their entire bodies part of the mass in the tower (evidenced by leftover clothes) also its clearly affecting them through it's transmissions because every time they "Watch" their life forces get drained either by TV or through staring at the tower it can suck their life out (the line up of guys some players claim to commit suicide) and eventually their bodies also disappear) and eventually it will suck their bodies in leaving their clothes behind As of a current timeline: Six still killed the lady and probably left (LN1) And there's a chance mono might have or will escape his time loop (he failed already every time you play the game and win) thanks to LN1 DLC ending Hopefully via DLC or 3rd game i think six will fight Thin Man considering his prison defies time and space via transmissions What I said is a bit rough but check out superhorrorbro for more detailed lore) Side note: If you ever played Very little nightmares thats where you meet six...as a side character, and the girl you play (everyone called her five) But she is known as "The girl in the Raincoat". She is someone completely different and has a raincoat, with a hairstyle, six eventually escapes and simply didn't wear the raincoat, and it just washed up in the Pale city in Little Nightmares 2 thats why Six reacts that way when she wore it in the first place, she remembered the events prior to Very Little Nightmares
This game really puts the title “Little Nightmares” into perspective. Stating that the scariest things in this franchise isn’t the giant monsters, but these two kids.
It’s insane how he has this emotional connection to the character he’s playing as, and the game. Just the connection he has with the game. It’s crazy. that’s why he’s the best youtuber.
What I think happened is a combination of 3 things 1.) when six and Mono first hide from the Thin Man, she gets captures, but looks at mono for help. She may have felt that he abandoned her for his own safety. 2.) I believe the shadow/static is her former self, that was separated from her body. Leaving her as someone who only thinks of survival and no emotion. Which later ends up as her hunger. 3.) when she is transformed into monster six, she seems comforted and happy around her music box. Mono being the one who destroys that comforting yet fake dream. I feel like a lot of people don’t pay attention to how Six throughout this and LN1, has shown a lot of violent/selfish tendencies. One example being when she was breaking the fingers on the mannequin arm. She also a lot of times runs ahead of Mono, which to me feels as her putting her own survival first

I think people are worried for 2 reason 1st is that he might be in another break or because my boy is about to get 10 mill subs so they want him to post as much as he can
Theory: At the portal thingy, Sasha actually absorbed some of Mono’s power so she could go through. As we can see in Little Nightmares 1, she ate the Gasha ultimately absorbing her power including the power and evilness she already had. Sasha really let go of Mono at the end because she was uncertain of Mono’s power from the very beginning because every time Mono was drawn to this power from the TV, Sasha had to pull her out thus making her uncertain of Mono even though they were still friends. Also, the Mono in Little Nightmares 2, is younger mono because Thin Man is technically his older self. His younger self not knowing who he would become to be and thus why Thin Man (older mono) wants to get rid of Sasha because getting rid of her would mean Mono would never become Thin Man. But now, Mono is stuck in a endless loop, impending his own doom unless Thin Man (older mono) does something different. Ps: Like so cory can see🙂

Story time: The thin man, was actually trying to save mono (aka Baggy,) because he knew that Sasha would drop him into the abyss. He wasn't trying to kill, Sasha or Baggy. The thin man was trying to take Sasha away from Baggy. He turned into the thin man because someone in his life had betray him, and that person was Sasha.
Wrong slender man is older mono trying to stop younger mono from becoming slender man and Sasha drops him cause she seen what he becomes and doesn’t want his loop to affect him
Also to go further to your point the reason why baggy saved Sasha in the first place in the house with the guy with the shotgun Cos in the little night mares comics Sasha is running away and mono is sitting on a tree and sees her and then she’s takin by the shotgun dude into the house and trapped in that room mono saves her because he’s tired of being alone and his worse fear is being alone he wanted to free Sasha to make a friend but that inevitably made him alone again anyway makin him go under this transformation

Mono is Tall Man, but no one is talking about how Six is The Lady (aka the Geisha) from the first game. Tall Man is trying to save himself from Six's betrayal and Six escapes to meet herself as the Geisha. Just like Mono gets his ability after releasing Tall Man (himself), Six gets her abilities after eating The Lady (herself).

They didn’t put a spoiler warning, so I expected this and wasn’t as shook as everyone else was right now. I also find her really adorable, (ever since the first game) nevertheless, but it’s quite understandable why you don’t trust her anymore, lol. I see where you’re coming from. I’m not fully judging Six though, unless I know the full story on why she did what she did. There’s too many accurate theories for anything to be legit. 😂 Despite Six’s betrayal, I remembered how Six was actually a heartless monster in the first game and wasn’t that good to begin with, so that’s another reason why this didn’t surprise me. She probably put it down somewhere or someone took it from her because when she gets her raincoat, you get an achievement that says “True colors, gain back your identity” which means she had her raincoat before, and it must’ve been the maw because that was the last time we saw her have it. She doesn’t have her powers because the signal tower took them. Watch some of the dev interviews and quotes on twitter and maybe you’ll understand that the signal tower destroyed her powers and kept them from her. Actually it’s blatantly obvious that it’s a sequel to the first game. Have you people never payed any attention to what the devs said and to the game lore itself?

Fun fact: Six and Mono are named after which concept art drawing they were. Mono was first (mono means one), and Six was the 6th. The creators thought of using the numbers, and just rolled with it. Another fun fact (spoiler for video ending!): It's confirmed by the creators of the game that Six dropped Mono because she recognized him.

I just realized this, the glitches are past glimpses of Mono trying to get Sasha to not betray him. He is trying to go back and fix what happened but to no avail, the glitches are little snippets of past attempts. Since he failed this time more glitches appear (maybe in the next game). If you look at the glitches, they all resemble him. Edit: when I mean they are past attempts I mean they are glimpses of him traveling around looking at stuff while on his little mission ( just thought I wasn’t clear enough)

Alright, I did some digging Cory. When you went into the tv and got pulled out, it was Sasha trying to keep you away from the truth. At the end, Sasha let you go to break the bond that you had. Because she was hungry. She did what she did to save you, even if it meant hurting Mono. When you got the secret ending, and she was looking at herself. Notice the glitch version of her was looking at a poster of the location of the first game. This game was meant to be a prequel, NOT a sequel. When the thin man (aka future you) came after Sasha, he was trying to save you from the future. But you interfered with that. Because you saved her, she went on to the Maw. Which is the first games location. Because you saved her the first game was created. She saved you. From her hunger. And from the terrifying future ahead.
I think maybe it also could’ve just been her saving herself. We really don’t know how good/evil she is, and I saw a theory that I thought was kinda cool about how she became one of the glitching remains for a bit, like her body was snatched and separated from her soul or something. The theory went on to say that maybe her hunger is a result of her getting snatched by the thin man, like the ripping apart of the two sides of her leaves her physical being empty and needing to fill a void, which she feels through hunger. In terms of preventing Mono from becoming thin man, maybe it’s just a paradox that’s already set in motion and unable to be stopped
i know you might not see this, Cory, but Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel to Little Nightmares 1. After six betrayed mono, her shadow self showed six a poster on the floor which is the maw. That’s where the hunger starts. Then came Little Nightmares 1 where six made it to the maw and escaped it after killing all the guests.
Someone mentioned. His name is Mono. The fear of being alone is called mono phobia. He valued six more than anything. I don’t believe he was out revenge, rather he just wanted to stop the loop. Mono has too much of a kind heart to want revenge.

He wanted to stop the loop but also wanted revenge. He doesn’t have much of a kind heart anymore. Growing up into an adult changes you, and how you feel about people, like how kids are so attached with they’re parents but when you’re a teenager, you’re not. People don’t stay children forever. Being betrayed by someone who you have risked you’re life for MANY times, and have protected them, and have depended on them, is the worst feeling in you’re life. Not only that, but she got him trapped in a dark empty room with a chair for his ENTIRE life. He never had a good childhood, and he spent his adulthood in an empty room, all alone, which is his biggest fear. At that point, he would kill six if he wanted to. He changed her into a monster in the signal tower to represent how evil she is, but that didn’t stop mono. Sometimes, you can have too good of a heart. But that’s never a good thing.

NAH CUZ THE ENDING LITERALLY MADE ME CRY LIKE NO JOKE. Anyways, heres the general theory or whatever (simplified). Older/future mono (thin man) comes for younger mono (baggy), to save him from sasha’s betrayal (which is a loop). It seems to me though, that he has yet to break that loop. Meaning he has been betrayed over, and over, and over again.
And six lost her inner void for betraying mono. (Her dark figure) and it turned into a hunger to fill that void temporarily. So she went to the maw, that's why a dark figure appeared everytime she ate something in the first game. She preferred souls over food that's why she ate the gnome and geisha. So six was never good she puts her survival over anything. She dropped mono bc she was threatened by his power.
Alright here’s my theory: This is a depressing loop for Mono. In the beginning of the game he finds Sasha and everywhere they go nothing good happens. Mono tries to protect her at all cost until thin man takes her. Before he does Mono traveled to the Tv and opened the door revealing thin man.(The door opens) He takes Sasha because he knows what’s Monos destiny. Thin man later chases him because he knows when he gets to Sasha she will soon betray him so he is trying to prevent this. Eventually Mono finds Sasha and she betrays him(thin man was trying to make him avoid this). Mono sits in the chair all these years with a broken heart waiting for the loop to come again.(The door closes) I think Sasha goes on to be that woman at the end of Little nightmares one who is so afraid to look in her own reflection because she knows in her heart she regrets what she did. I think the whole thing is Mono is afraid of her future and Sasha is afraid of her past.
when sasha sees monos face when she catches him, he’s not wearing his bag so she sees that he is the thin man, that’s why she drops him, so that he cannot turn into that person, as she probably thought mono would have wanted, but it is in fact six’s betrayal that turns him that way, putting them in an endless loop of revenge..
Guys let's be real here Cory shows the most emotions to the characters in this series and when he first met Sasha in this series he immediately recognised her.
Theory: When the tall man caught Sasha Six, they both recognized each other. So as revenge the tall man turned Sasha Six into a monster. Then when Sasha was holding mono she let go as payback. It’s some sort of loop.

@@tripledoublemedia9119 Again I disagree with that theory.Not to mention that it makes no sense, in little nightmares 1 there are at least 13 nomes she can physically touch and pretty much have at her mercy,meaning that if she was evil she would have zero reasons not to eat them then and there and pre-emptively satiate her hunger. My theory for sixes betrayal. Is for the whole game six had his paper bag on she couldn't see monos face at the end she did see it after mono taking off his paper bag to defeat the thin man "for now". Then six could see a close-up with his mask off with the resemblance, knowing he would turn into thin man and mono is now stuck in an infinite time paradox where he sits in a chair for his whole life with no food untill mono releases him and helps take six knowing that if he didnt take six she would drop mono. Edit: the paper at the end is a invitation to the maw (where little nightmares 1 takes place) and dark six appears anytime six is hungry in the first game

BRO I THINK I GET IT. The ending scene for the secret ending gives all the info to link it all. After the betrayal, in which she loses her "humanity", where her glitch, or "soul" is removed by future mono, she feels nothing but survival instinct, including HUNGER. She dropped him because she no longer felt companionship, or any reason to save his life, and after she escapes, her previous soul shows her a poster to the boat from the first game, where she would "feast". And mono with his memories all together from the initial run relives the event of little nightmares 2 over and over in his mind, which would show how his future self had so much control over time and space, slowing down his previous form and sasha to try to make a change. In reality only the secret end scene is real, as he would have no way of seeing what happened to her. Mono's stuck in a never-ending nightmare where he's forced to relive the same events that led to his betrayal in which he tries to make change but is cursed to never be able to stop his smaller and crafty self, so there is a loop going on in his own version of hell.

For everyone confused what basically happened is a loop a never ending loop. older mono tries to stop younger mono from repeating that loop but younger mono kills him therefore the loop continues. When Sasha was drag into the tv she found out what mono was gonna become but she didn’t know if her actions (either if she picked him up or dropped him) would affect him becoming like that so she was scared to be with him therefore dropped him which plays into the loop. Now big TWIST turner the secret ending shows shadow six her future where it is the ending to game 1. Sasha is actually the gasha lady or the final battle in game 1 that is her future self. Also why she doesn’t like to look at mirrors is because her powers if she looks people in the eyes she can make them wither( such as the eyeballs in game 1) she made them. And mono the reason why younger six and mono are being chased is because older mono has everyone trying to get them he controls everything. In the 1st game it is the same, future Sasha knows her younger self will be coming for her soon therefore having people after Sasha.

Why Sasha let go of mono ;; Sasha knew mono was going to become thin man, but remember when Sasha got pulled into the television? Well in Sasha's eyes, mono betrayed Sasha when she got pulled into the television!! Sasha thought mono betrayed her, sasha also pulled mono out of the tv all those times because she KNEW what he would turn into.
Why mono became thin man ;; Well mono is basically stuck in a time loop that keeps repeating over and over again. So thin man was mono and when thin man died, mono became thin man once again. Basically meaning thin man was revived. And remember the very start of the game when mono came out from that tv? THAT WAS APART OF THE TIME LOOP!!

I feel so conflicted!! I mean on one hand I feel like slapping sasha across the room, but then again i can understand why she acted the way she did. I think she perceived Mano as the Thin guy (who mind you, up to this point had kidnapped her). Then by doing the notorious action, Sasha's condemning Mano again and again to a heartwrenching, and most notably, eternal cycle. Whether it is done knowingly or not, she betrayed Mano though, I don't think I can get past that lol
To clear things up for the people who are reviewing and still don’t understand the ending, if you recall in the beginning of the game baggy broke down to door thinking that he was helping her but what he was really doing was ruining her peace. As we saw in the beginning of the game she wasn’t reluctant to leave the home which is odd because usually people who are captive are happy to be set free. But Six went along with him because she was bored and she saw an opportunity to leave the world. You could see she was bored because she wasn’t really interested in helping she was playing with toys, walking slowly, and sense she was kinda annoyed by the fact that baggy ruined her peace she even took it so far as to ruthlessly kill one of the students in the school. And when she finally snapped was when baggy had the opportunity to help her from the tall guy (older version of baggy). And then he hid under the bed, that made her feel like she was betrayed. And then you realize that the tall guy wasn’t trying to kill six he was just trying to save baggy from that fate. But Six ended up being happy in the world where the tall guy took her just because she had peace and her music box. UNTIL baggy came and “saved her” she got angry and started becoming violent. And when baggy teleported to that world with the door he broke it down just like in the start when he took away her peace. And you can even see her frustration when he saved her because she had her head held low. And she just wanted to leave no more games, and she…let…go. I like the theory of Mono creating this casual paradox and him looping as the Thin Man and Six looping as The Lady in the Maw. We first see Six with the music box and the classic song it plays, The Lady hums the same song, the Maw is in the shape of the music box, and Mono is the one who destroys something they really hammer in is important to her.
Too bad Tarsier just announced they are done with Little Nightmares a few days ago. But there could be more Little Nightmares but not done by them which sounds kinda eh.

Sasha betrayed him. That’s why Mono became like that, years of depression. Mono cared so much for her and literally wanted to run away with her. He saved her so many times and gave his all just for her to drop him. Mono was just trying to save himself from that happening but instead, younger mono killed his older self. Which means it’ll just be a loop for Mono. My theory is, little nightmares 2 is what actually happened before Sasha went on that boat. As you saw on the start of the game she didn’t have the yellow raincoat. She betrayed her friend and went to start a new life without him. This game honestly had a huge plot twist.
Next game should have a new character stopping the loop and saving the past 2 main characters and freeing the world from the towers grip on the world

Theory~ Mono is stuck in a time loop, and even though The Thin Man seems to be a villain, he actually is not. He is actually a victim. I believe he tries to reach out to his past self, which is why Mono is drawn to the door. If you pay attention, Thin Man never harms Mono, when he catches him, he just holds him, like he’s trying to stop him from something. He could’ve gotten him when he catches Six but doesn’t because she was the goal. He is trying to stop the betrayal from happening, which leads to his imprisonment in the tower. Six loses her soul in The tower, which is what leads to her hunger at the end.
The tower is actually the creature with all the eyeballs, the illusion coming undone as Mono destroys the illusion taking hold of Six. The interesting part is how Mono finds Six in the same position as he does at the beginning, her with her comfort which was the music box.
Also, I believe the tower traps Mono and uses his powers to warp the city. Mono’s powers revolve around the signals/tvs and some semblance of control over space and time? Not too sure how to explain this, but it makes sense with him meeting his younger self. But I believe he is stuck in a loop.
And this leads me to believe Six is also in a loop. The Lady in the first game is Six. Six goes and kills her, in my opinion to take her soul, and then goes through killing all the inhabitants in the Maw trying to eat their souls to fill the void hers left.

I think this :- So for me the thin man was not killing us but actually saving us from her. As he knew that he can trap one of us to separate us from each other well.. why did she bitrayed us? Yes so she did that all because we broke her music box the only thing that kept her happy and calm you could see it every time even in the cabin of the hunter that music kept her and you could even see that when she became a monster she was actually sharing it with us but we had to save her from that monster making music box but she did not understand she was like when parents keep your toys away for your own good but you feel angry for that. The thin man aka tall mono took her so that the loop breaks but unfortunately old Mono's
Heart wasn't as powerful and mono the small one was ready to do anything to save her. When she became a monster you could see that the time was like revert back to the hunters cabin we had to break the door with the axe in both of these and probably this was the reason that whenever we broke the music box we went to a dark place because that was actually where we started and even six playing the music box in both of the places and as she ran away and left us behind in the cabin because she was scared of us as we broke her peace and the same happend in the end she was angry at us as we broke the peace again. Yes getting to the secret ending the secret ending meant a lot here was when shadow six met six (if you see close whenever six eats a shadow figure of her appear standing) and that was the picture of no other place but the place we were in the little nightmares 1 and that means that six who took the place of the lady was actually six too like little nightmares 2 was mono's loop little nightmares 1 was Six's loop and that means that six was no other than the lady that's why the lady hums the same song which came from the music box and was scared of the mirror because it shows that how bad she is but the moment she realised it was too late. And that is the only reason that the lady did not attack six at the last because she accepted defeat which she knew had to happen. It was the shadow six and the eye monster who made six hungry. For more slice the like button and I would like to hear a shout out to me for my full theory.

Okay, 2nd quote does fit in well. But the first is not really true. The Thin Man that Mono slowly turns into after Six betraying him is actually a good guy. He comes out of the tv and captures Six when we hide to save his younger self from experiencing betrayal again. Why he still chases and captures us tho is to stop us from saving Six otherwise that event at the cliff will happen all over again. He is trying to help and break this repetitive cycle that he's going through with his younger self. Another thing to note that some people don't even seem to talk about or notice is that the Thin Man in his tower after capturing Six and we fight him to save her, we see Six with the music box and listening to it peacefully and quietly but this time as a monster. She was at the very beginning as well. So He must feel bad for breaking that music box because he must of realized that was her only comfort, only for Mono to defeat his older self again and keep destroying making her back to normal and not like us anymore. It honestly breaks my heart that he still helps and cares for Six after what she done... So you see Mono and Thin Man are not necessarily bad guys at all..

I feel like the Thin Man wasn't attacking Mono he might have been going after Sasha because she betrayed him. Because he knew that, he kept trying to get her until he ended up kidnapping her at the end which leads her to finding out that its him and her betraying Mono again it's a loop.

I can’t watch/read/play horror or anything of the sort - tragic, really - so he’s the only UA-camr I can turn to and watch horror gameplays of, which is one of the reasons he’s so beloved to me.
In the secret ending, it’s shown that after 6 betrayed Mono, she was able to gain his powers! Once she went through the TV using his powers, a shadow like glitch version of 6 appears. On the piece of paper what’s drawn is actually The Maw, which is the ship/location from the original little nightmares game! After that the shadow disappears and 6 becomes hungry. I believe that is not 6, that shadow figure of her must have possessed her and now controls the 6 we know and love. The shadow figure has decided its hungry for more power and travels to the Maw to take more lives to satisfy its hunger, especially going against the first antagonist of the game, the geisha. Through the first little nightmare games we see 6 go through all of these obstacles to try and get to the geisha, which resulted into her starving to the point where she ate bread, raw meat, a dead rat, and sadly the runaway kid which Cory had labeled “7”. As we know, that still wasn’t enough for the monster, so once she finally arrives and beats the Geisha the monster is finally ready to feast, and eats her with no remorse. After that the shadow seems to grow stronger, as in the end of the game 6 is surrounded by a mass of shadow like swirls, which may show us that 6 did NOT gain the powers on her own so suddenly, it was the monster INSIDE of 6 that did. The monster and I’m guessing Mono’s powers have given 6 her strength to go through everything The Maw threw at us. After that she continued to take the lives of the bigger, obese passengers on the ship. In the end once 6 escaped, she is seen to leave the ship and my theory is, she’s leaving to find someone else who is just as powerful to take over, for the monster that has possessed her, will only get hungrier for more power. The more hungry it is, the more it kills, and the more it kills, the more we begin to lose the 6 we love. I still have hope that our 6 is locked away inside of her, but we'll just have to wait to find out.
Side Note: Maybe once 6 was possessed by that monster that made her grow in size, it never fully left. Perhaps it just shrunk itself to fit 6’s size or a spirit is still lodged in there.

This game is as a whole a prequel to the first game (the devs said its a sequel.....to very little nightmares)
(It goes like this: Very Little Nightmares, LN2, LN comics (yes there are comics), And then Little Nightmares 1 and DLC)
Thin man always was Mono, and the tower disfigures those who enter the Signal Tower, and it fuels on negative emotions or memories and traps them by using their good memories against them (it did this to six via music box because it makes her calm) every time mono smashes it he remembers saving six when they met, and He basically throughout the end of this game went under a transformation same as everyone especially Six went Even in everything in all games and comics. (years didnt go by time doesnt even matter in this world The Signal Tower Claims everyone even without absorbing them.........via TV or looking at the tower or entering it's bowels only to be trapped)
Apparently souls are echos of the past of what the world was like and mono was able to absorb these echos via glitching remains thats why young mono was able to beat thin man mono, plus (thin man was weaker due to six absorbing mono in the ending at least most of his power)
When thin man grabbed six it left an echo of herself (its half of her soul since glitching remains are souls) that helps mono,
(She also appeared with six in the first game...every time she eats and every time she shows up she is a reminder of when six was with mono through glitch look and soon just general dark six look) and she eats living beings because the power she absorbed demands soul energy and that's the part six non longer has and morals were basically thrown away six isnt evil....shes demanded to survive by consuming soul energy filling the whole glitch six isnt part of anymore
The tower utilizes whats left of monos power and affects the world even more around him (and is the cause of the world being so....little nightmares like) and just like six and everyone else it changed him leaving him forever suffering trapped and angry
So the time loop is cause by transmissions from the tower (kinda) it doesn't just warp worlds it also defies and affects time, the thin man left an opening to lure his past self due to his leftover power able to reach out beyond past, present, and future, (via TV Transmissions in any timeline: secrets of maw DLC ending as proof for first game ) despite still being trapped he was eventually let out by Mono after opening the door in the Transmission connecting to the Tower, he didn't hesitate to try to get six and mono and Kill them because of what happened (and to prevent the world being what it is because of the two), so he trapped six and left her in the tower instead using the powers he had in LN2 to leave after young mono opened the door to his prison (within the tower) however he fails every time and since then is stuck in this loop he made for himself. He will ALWAYS fail because his Younger self will always be more powerful then him.
Six actually absorbed mono's power without eating him (instead by just touching him) because that was her original power...she absorbed enough of his power just so she can leave (she let go of him. Because she did trust him but there were many reasons why she let go: yes he always saves her but she was even in the beginning always in a perilous and scarring journey, she got captured several times and was left to suffer for a bit, and she was the reason pulling mono away from the tv because mono could have used his powers and thus losing her trust, and also there's a chance that she connected Thin man to being Mono since they both have similar powers.
However because of this now, there is a drawback to what she did, (secret ending to LN2: six absorbed monos power because she didnt need him to escape however this new power even if its small is new to her body and it changed her completely, she lost her morals, and more importantly half of her soul thanks to the influence of the tower and mono's powers now its replaced by hunger....endless hunger) and thus LN1 begins
So apparently the Signal Tower is some kind of SCP cryptid type ....entity it is responsible for the deformities of the world and the people...ALLL of the monstrous designs were caused by the tower even powers anyone has gained.
The tower is apparently made of flesh inside (the eye symbols around the game made sense if you saw the endless flesh mass it always have eyes)
No one knows how the tower is there but WHY it does what it does is to apparently absorb life force of the people and eventually absorb their entire bodies part of the mass in the tower (evidenced by leftover clothes) also its clearly affecting them through it's transmissions because every time they "Watch" their life forces get drained either by TV or through staring at the tower it can suck their life out (the line up of guys some players claim to commit suicide) and eventually their bodies also disappear)
and eventually it will suck their bodies in leaving their clothes behind
As of a current timeline:
Six still killed the lady and probably left (LN1)
And there's a chance mono might have or will escape his time loop (he failed already every time you play the game and win) thanks to LN1 DLC ending
Hopefully via DLC or 3rd game i think six will fight Thin Man considering his prison defies time and space via transmissions

Side note: If you ever played Very little nightmares thats where you meet six...as a side character, and the girl you play (everyone called her five) But she is known as "The girl in the Raincoat". She is someone completely different and has a raincoat, with a hairstyle, six eventually escapes and simply didn't wear the raincoat, and it just washed up in the Pale city in Little Nightmares 2 thats why Six reacts that way when she wore it in the first place, she remembered the events prior to Very Little Nightmares

What I think happened is a combination of 3 things
1.) when six and Mono first hide from the Thin Man, she gets captures, but looks at mono for help. She may have felt that he abandoned her for his own safety.
2.) I believe the shadow/static is her former self, that was separated from her body. Leaving her as someone who only thinks of survival and no emotion. Which later ends up as her hunger.
3.) when she is transformed into monster six, she seems comforted and happy around her music box. Mono being the one who destroys that comforting yet fake dream.
I feel like a lot of people don’t pay attention to how Six throughout this and LN1, has shown a lot of violent/selfish tendencies. One example being when she was breaking the fingers on the mannequin arm. She also a lot of times runs ahead of Mono, which to me feels as her putting her own survival first

Theory: At the portal thingy, Sasha actually absorbed some of Mono’s power so she could go through. As we can see in Little Nightmares 1, she ate the Gasha ultimately absorbing her power including the power and evilness she already had. Sasha really let go of Mono at the end because she was uncertain of Mono’s power from the very beginning because every time Mono was drawn to this power from the TV, Sasha had to pull her out thus making her uncertain of Mono even though they were still friends. Also, the Mono in Little Nightmares 2, is younger mono because Thin Man is technically his older self. His younger self not knowing who he would become to be and thus why Thin Man (older mono) wants to get rid of Sasha because getting rid of her would mean Mono would never become Thin Man. But now, Mono is stuck in a endless loop, impending his own doom unless Thin Man (older mono) does something different.

Story time: The thin man, was actually trying to save mono (aka Baggy,) because he knew that Sasha would drop him into the abyss. He wasn't trying to kill, Sasha or Baggy. The thin man was trying to take Sasha away from Baggy. He turned into the thin man because someone in his life had betray him, and that person was Sasha.

Mono is Tall Man, but no one is talking about how Six is The Lady (aka the Geisha) from the first game. Tall Man is trying to save himself from Six's betrayal and Six escapes to meet herself as the Geisha.
Just like Mono gets his ability after releasing Tall Man (himself), Six gets her abilities after eating The Lady (herself).
I don’t think the geisha is her, but she is the next in line to become the geisha. Maybe that’s why she’s named six, she is the 6th in the cycle.
I don't think six is the lady because she never had a problem with mirrors but it is possible.

Despite Six’s betrayal, I remembered how Six was actually a heartless monster in the first game and wasn’t that good to begin with, so that’s another reason why this didn’t surprise me. Something bad was bound to happen because something bad happened at the end of the first one and this _is_ in fact a horror game, so we can’t always have happy endings. 😓

@@Count_Ocana she got her raincoat from the game Very little nightmares. She probably put it down somewhere or someone took it from her because when she gets her raincoat, you get an achievement that says
“True colors, gain back your identity” which means she had her raincoat before, and it must’ve been the maw because that was the last time we saw her have it. She doesn’t have her powers because the signal tower took them. Watch some of the dev interviews and quotes on twitter and maybe you’ll understand that the signal tower destroyed her powers and kept them from her. Actually it’s blatantly obvious that it’s a sequel to the first game. Have you people never payed any attention to what the devs said and to the game lore itself?

Fun fact: Six and Mono are named after which concept art drawing they were. Mono was first (mono means one), and Six was the 6th. The creators thought of using the numbers, and just rolled with it.
Another fun fact (spoiler for video ending!): It's confirmed by the creators of the game that Six dropped Mono because she recognized him.

I just realized this, the glitches are past glimpses of Mono trying to get Sasha to not betray him. He is trying to go back and fix what happened but to no avail, the glitches are little snippets of past attempts. Since he failed this time more glitches appear (maybe in the next game). If you look at the glitches, they all resemble him. Edit: when I mean they are past attempts I mean they are glimpses of him traveling around looking at stuff while on his little mission ( just thought I wasn’t clear enough)

Alright, I did some digging Cory. When you went into the tv and got pulled out, it was Sasha trying to keep you away from the truth. At the end, Sasha let you go to break the bond that you had. Because she was hungry. She did what she did to save you, even if it meant hurting Mono. When you got the secret ending, and she was looking at herself. Notice the glitch version of her was looking at a poster of the location of the first game. This game was meant to be a prequel, NOT a sequel. When the thin man (aka future you) came after Sasha, he was trying to save you from the future. But you interfered with that. Because you saved her, she went on to the Maw. Which is the first games location. Because you saved her the first game was created. She saved you. From her hunger. And from the terrifying future ahead.

I think maybe it also could’ve just been her saving herself. We really don’t know how good/evil she is, and I saw a theory that I thought was kinda cool about how she became one of the glitching remains for a bit, like her body was snatched and separated from her soul or something. The theory went on to say that maybe her hunger is a result of her getting snatched by the thin man, like the ripping apart of the two sides of her leaves her physical being empty and needing to fill a void, which she feels through hunger. In terms of preventing Mono from becoming thin man, maybe it’s just a paradox that’s already set in motion and unable to be stopped
She’s also hungry because half of her soul gets taken by thin man. That’s why she drains everyone on the ship in the first game to replenish her own

i know you might not see this, Cory, but Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel to Little Nightmares 1. After six betrayed mono, her shadow self showed six a poster on the floor which is the maw. That’s where the hunger starts. Then came Little Nightmares 1 where six made it to the maw and escaped it after killing all the guests.

Someone mentioned. His name is Mono. The fear of being alone is called mono phobia. He valued six more than anything. I don’t believe he was out revenge, rather he just wanted to stop the loop. Mono has too much of a kind heart to want revenge.

He doesn’t have much of a kind heart anymore. Growing up into an adult changes you, and how you feel about people, like how kids are so attached with they’re parents but when you’re a teenager, you’re not. People don’t stay children forever.
Being betrayed by someone who you have risked you’re life for MANY times, and have protected them, and have depended on them, is the worst feeling in you’re life.
Not only that, but she got him trapped in a dark empty room with a chair for his ENTIRE life. He never had a good childhood, and he spent his adulthood in an empty room, all alone, which is his biggest fear. At that point, he would kill six if he wanted to. He changed her into a monster in the signal tower to represent how evil she is, but that didn’t stop mono. Sometimes, you can have too good of a heart. But that’s never a good thing.

NAH CUZ THE ENDING LITERALLY MADE ME CRY LIKE NO JOKE. Anyways, heres the general theory or whatever (simplified). Older/future mono (thin man) comes for younger mono (baggy), to save him from sasha’s betrayal (which is a loop). It seems to me though, that he has yet to break that loop. Meaning he has been betrayed over, and over, and over again.

So she went to the maw, that's why a dark figure appeared everytime she ate something in the first game. She preferred souls over food that's why she ate the gnome and geisha. So six was never good she puts her survival over anything. She dropped mono bc she was threatened by his power.

Alright here’s my theory:
This is a depressing loop for Mono. In the beginning of the game he finds Sasha and everywhere they go nothing good happens. Mono tries to protect her at all cost until thin man takes her. Before he does Mono traveled to the Tv and opened the door revealing thin man.(The door opens) He takes Sasha because he knows what’s Monos destiny. Thin man later chases him because he knows when he gets to Sasha she will soon betray him so he is trying to prevent this. Eventually Mono finds Sasha and she betrays him(thin man was trying to make him avoid this). Mono sits in the chair all these years with a broken heart waiting for the loop to come again.(The door closes) I think Sasha goes on to be that woman at the end of Little nightmares one who is so afraid to look in her own reflection because she knows in her heart she regrets what she did. I think the whole thing is Mono is afraid of her future and Sasha is afraid of her past.

true he was just always trying for the horrible time loop to end because Sasha was the one who would ruin everything and continue the time loop by letting baggie go and adult mono was the one who tried to save the world from the tower and the time loop, because if he would stop himself not just Sasha he would leave the tower alone with no power no thin man and wont have Sasha do anything and prevent her from becoming the Lady but since child mono is stronger than his adult version the time loop never stopped because if adult mono gets defeated kid mono is more determined to save Sasha than adult mono trying to save himself and kid mono would not stop from saving Sasha but Sasha was never a good kid and she is the villain of it all...

It's obvious that the hunger is an adverse effect of having her soul/glitch removed due to thinman capturing her, and that when Six is under the effects of the hunger she has no control over her actions , to the point of even entering an obvious trap and getting captured by the long armed man,a notion further reinforced due to the fact that you can't progress the game untill you give in to the hunger and have Six eat.
My theory for sixes betrayal. Is for the whole game six had his paper bag on she couldn't see monos face at the end she did see it after mono taking off his paper bag to defeat the thin man "for now". Then six could see a close-up with his mask off with the resemblance, knowing he would turn into thin man and mono is now stuck in an infinite time paradox where he sits in a chair for his whole life with no food untill mono releases him and helps take six knowing that if he didnt take six she would drop mono. Edit: the paper at the end is a invitation to the maw (where little nightmares 1 takes place) and dark six appears anytime six is hungry in the first game
