I relate so hard to the pretty much learning-as-you-go thing. I procrastinated starting my channel for YEARS, and I really regret it. If you ever want to start a channel, just do it! No matter what equipment or skills or whatever you have, there is no time like *right now* .

I´ve been trying to declutter and clean better our house and your videos are a true inspiration. I can see that you are sincere and you really like what you are doing. I watched some videos from different youtubers and in some of them is clear that the person does not like to clean, is just to make a video. But yours are different, I like you and your videos a lot.

You have done a great job, Ashley and I really enjoy your channel. I'm an older mom and have raised 5 kids. I think UA-cam is a wonderful thing and think its a great way to earn an income and be with your kids and family. I can see it's hard work, but being able to arrange your schedule and do what you want is such a plus. I find cleaning and organizing video's so motivating. This movie was a true inspiration to me. I’ve also been watching UA-cam videos about 3 years. I’m a stay at home mom of a special needs two year old and my husband’s in the army. We’re actually moving to Fort Sill in Oklahoma in a couple months and watching your videos have put me living in the state at ease. I think God, in his way, knowing I’ve been thinking for years of starting UA-cam and needing that extra income and moving to Oklahoma soon, somehow made me find your channel. I haven’t started because we can’t afford a camera and a Mac computer, but I’m considering the day we leave for OK of just using my iPhone and vlogging it and then staying my own cleaning series.
Definitely just start with your phone!!
Vlogging is fun but you will need to add in cleaning videos to grow your channel. Vlogs just aren’t searchable!! 😉 You will love Oklahoma!! Good luck on your move!!

I can't fathom someone hating ANYTHING about your videos! You are literally the sweetest person, and such a great Mommy and wife. Like you, I started my channel to help others and share information for free . I learned many years ago how to plan vacations on almost any income, and while my husband and I were in college we were definitely on a shoestring budget. I have been planning vacations for people (friends, family, co-workers, classmates) for over 10 years, but never wanted to charge them. It just makes me happy to help people explore the world. Now that we live in Florida, I tend to focus more on Disney World vacation planning, and I have people contacting me from all over the world to help them plan their trips. So many people say I should be a travel agent, but I don't mind helping for free. I also enjoy bargain shopping, and decorating on a budget, so my Dollar Tree videos came to life from there. On a different note, forty hours a week may sound like a lot to some, but your editing is AMAZING, so I can understand why. 😊 I have both iMovie and final cut pro (my husband gifted it to me around Christmas), but iMovie seems so much easier! I've done one video on FCP and it took me over 10 hours to edit a 12 minute video. It was almost overwhelming because there are SO many options! What is your favorite editing software? I too have such hesitation starting my channel and I know it’s the devil discouraging me. But you’ve given me inspiration to at least try! All my life I’ve had little family and support and that can be scary. I pray that God will give me strength to overcome my fears and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your personal journey on UA-cam. I love the fact that you are content and love your BEAUTIFUL family! You’re not materialistic and I admire that in this day and age.

I appreciate all of your videos so much and you have worked so hard and YOU MOTIVATE ME (not an easy task) every single video. I really enjoyed this video, Ashley. I have really thought about doing a channel. I have a lot of friends who have said, “You need to vlog.” But, I am so afraid. You make it all look so easy and natural. I was so surprised the first time I heard you say you weren’t extremely comfortable being in front of the camera. I am really proud of you and your accomplishments. I hope you are too. As far as why you started...who cares. You have every right to step out and make your own money. I’ve been a stay at home mom for almost 23 years and I love it, but being able to contribute to my family’s income in any way would be such a blessing to me.
I also want to say, I love that you homeschool and talk about it being your first priority. We homeschooled too, 13 years! I loved being able to teach my boys. I have one in grad school now and our youngest is in his first year of college.
So, I have rambled on but I just want you to know you are a huge inspiration. Have a great one.
