My ten year old daughter wanted to quit gymnastics to start karate. My wife took her to a starter class last night since my wife grew up in a certain form of martial arts and I grew up dropping my gloves in a hockey rink. Needless to say I don't know much about martial arts. When they got to the gym it turns out it was a Jujitsu gym. My daughter said she had ten times more fun than gymnastics. I can't wait to see her progress in the future with it.
Jujitsu is a perfect martial art for women. Much of it focuses on defeating larger, stronger opponents.

I'm with you. I live in this idiotic State with Markey as my "representative". We've been fighting a drastic new gun control bill recently and then Markey comes out with this. A few of us locally are trying to get involved, but every meeting is a secret, closed-door affair. And the majority of people are not concerned about this. It boggles the mind. And all of this as they flood the hotels in the State (and my actual town) with illegal immigrants soon to be prowling through my neighborhood.
I proudly became a US citizen 3 years ago after a decade of tests. I’m sad ( well happy but sad ) to say that I am more patriotic than 50% of the country. I swore the oath and cried doing it, I vowed to pick up arms to defend the constitution ,the flag AND my fellow citizens. I carry, I prepare and I exercise my god given rights to be a good and valuable American. If we let these assholes win, we are Venezuelan or back to being an Australian. Of course I’m getting older and slower but I’m still training as best as possible. I stay in training because now I’m retired and fish a lot and some of these boat ramps are very sketchy, especially at night. This also applies to me and my church security team also. We train from time to time to stay aware of threats.

When I heard about this bill a few months ago I said it would also ban martial arts schools and was told I was being hyperbolic.

I would think that training civilians would be in an SF operators bailiwick... Training civilians shouldn't be much different than training indigenous forces.

I'm a 71 year old Canadian so we don't have a second amendmet in Canada and publicly owning and displaying firearms is very much regulated here. Self defence is almost undefendable in a court of law and in many cases will turn against the persons who had to defend their lives or property. I'm still currently paying fines for shooting firework in the sky. It's like the law is reinforcing a kind of cast system and ordinary civilians are told to remain like sheep against wolves. As a youth I was a boy scout and army cadet and looking around I don't see scouts or cadets anymore as they used to be in most of the schools in my days. I wonder who's going to survive hard times if the people are left unprepared. Happy Easter from Canada. ⚜🍁⚜

My very rural Idaho Sheriff knows every family in our county. The Sheriff’s has stated repeatedly that if you are within the law you are deputized. We have a fine bunch of deputies in this county. 1) 18D, 18C a couple guys from 2d Ranger Bat. I was looking at the numbers over the weekend and we currently have about 9.87% of the town listed as veterans and Deputy Sheriff’ if we are needed!

Great to see other veterans talking about this. I talked about it on my show a few days ago and as a veteran and former federal Leo, this bill is designed to harmfully impact American citizens and communities. This is unsat. They are projecting their intentions should they get the power to ever follow through with them. I also train people so this affect my company as well.

Mike, it's important for the law to force good men to stand down, so evil can triumph! Survival, preparedness, self defense, self sufficiency and community unity scares the evil men to the core! So a quiet subversive tactic is to pass laws that no one talks about. Keep spreading the message! We must expose and talk about these coercive tactics. Evil will prevail when good men say nothing and do nothing.
