On The Waterfront is my favorite movie of all time which got Brando his academy award. I consider it a master class of acting put on by Brando.

Marlon Brando was an incredible actor, and so was Shelley Winters. She was not only one of the most prolific actresses in Hollywood, but a two-time Ocsar winner as well. I would have loved to have heard her talk about Hollywood in person. You were so blessed to have known her.
I never knew that Marlon & Wally Cox were such good friends. Great vlog, Jordan! 🦁❤

I am very happy that Jordan started his new life outside of California and totally understand that doing the same old thing over and over would get to be a drag, but raise your hand if you're beyond thrilled to see him back in L.A.!!!

@@jamespn I read several biographies on Brando years ago and the Brsndo---Cox friendship from childhood took me by surprise also . ! remember one passage which stated that Wally Cox ' mom did not want her son to play with Brando because he was too rough ! A typical mom , but they were lifelong friends until death.

👍👏👏👏. Great Story Jordan. My Twin and I share a great love for Old Hollywood, the Stars.the movies. We both Love Shelly Winters. Love hearing you talk about your friendship with her, I'm sure you have lots of stories that she told you. Ofcourse Marlon was one of Hollywood's Hunks. He seem to be a Great Guy. Misunderstood but we all have a way of doing things our own way, don't need acceptance, or feel the need to explain why we do the things we do, or why we do them. Glad to see the house is still.there and the cafe. Neat. Take care, looking forward to the next vlog. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita.✌🖖🕯❤🦋✨🌻🙂👋👣.

So, I have a Marlon Brando story that somewhat confirms his unconventional lifestyle in Hollywood. My Aunt Venna Jean was working in radio in Hollywood in the early 1950's. She was about 25 years old at the time, and by all accounts and by the old headshot pictures I've seen, a very beautiful woman. To pick-up some extra cash, my aunt would work as a stand-in for actresses on film sets, to give them a break in between takes, or while lights were being re-set and cameras moved. My aunt was the stand-in for an actress named Mary Murphy who was playing the lead role in the movie The Wild Bunch with Marlon Brando. One day my aunt was driving out of the studio and on the sidewalk stood Marlon Brando looking a bit lost. She pulled up to the curb and offered him a ride home because he didn't own his own car! I suspect that she took him to the house that Jordan highlighted today!

No wonder Brando was sort of weird. How could you possibly turn out normal with parents like that! I guess that’s why he was so close to his a grandmother, she provided a stable home environment he didn’t have. Thanks for this one Jordan.

He owned a house in Hollywood Hills that was designed by LA architect Paul Williams. He had this house when he was doing Mutiny on The Bounty. It sits on a triangular lot with streets on all 3 sides. For a while the fence line around the property was electrified to keep curiosity seekers at bay. He was married to Tarita Teriipaia while living in this house. She was 21 years old and liked to sunbathe in the nude. The address is 3222 Benda Place. A family friend owned it and I stayed in it for 8 months. This same house after Marlon moved out was owned by David Carradine of the Kung Fu tv series. They would edit episodes of the show in the garage.

That was wonderful, Jordan. Never knew many details of Marlon's terrible and sad childhood. Explains a whole lot. I saw THE MEN years ago.
