Nobody does old Hollywood better. Well done, Jordan!
100% correct, Jordan's Hollywood vlogs are the best..
Agreed
So true !
How utterly coincidental. Just last night, I researched Marlon Brando! You have so much information that I didn't find. Your research and dedication is admirable and greatly appreciated!
I’ve been watching your vlogs for a few years now. My favorite ones are the Hollywood and literary history vlogs. You are such a great storyteller! Telling stories and researching the history…I really value and appreciate your channel.
Please write a book with all your old Hollywood stories. Every video of yours is a fantastic history lesson....keep'em coming!
On The Waterfront is my favorite movie of all time which got Brando his academy award. I consider it a master class of acting put on by Brando.
Marlon Brando was an incredible actor, and so was Shelley Winters. She was not only one of the most prolific actresses in Hollywood, but a two-time Ocsar winner as well. I would have loved to have heard her talk about Hollywood in person. You were so blessed to have known her.
I never knew that Marlon & Wally Cox were such good friends. Great vlog, Jordan! 🦁❤
I found this channel in 2017, & I just want to THANK YOU, Jordan, cuz you helped me get over the death of my precious daughter, Brooke,in 2016. Faithful follower FOREVER! You Rock!👍💓🤗✌️
BTW... she would have been 33 today. 💓💕🤗✌️
I am very happy that Jordan started his new life outside of California and totally understand that doing the same old thing over and over would get to be a drag, but raise your hand if you're beyond thrilled to see him back in L.A.!!!
🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️
The West Is The Best...
Didn’t know Marlon was good friends with Wally Cox, always liked Wally on Hollywood Squares.
@@jamespn I read several biographies on Brando years ago and the Brsndo---Cox friendship from childhood took me by surprise also . ! remember one passage which stated that Wally Cox ' mom did not want her son to play with Brando because he was too rough ! A typical mom , but they were lifelong friends until death.
You are a great story teller!
He was beyond gorgeous and his aloofness , mystique and eccentricity made him even more interesting… absolutely adored him when I was young and I thought I knew everything about him but I learned more, thanks 🙏
Thank you for such a fun video! You really showed us the side of Maron that showed the complexity of his personality. He always had such a special mystique about him that people just didn't understand. A great actor and a very special man, for pulling together the shaping of his personality. Thank you Jonathan
Cute little house.
Very much enjoyed the vlog on Marlon Brando and it’s great your back in LA doing what do great Old Hollywood
It's so great that you are sharing the stories Shelly shared with you! What a lucky man!
I met Marlon Brando once making a movie on the Universal backlot where they filmed McHale's Navy. He was very quiet and didn't say much.
SWOONING!!! Omg I don't know what was prettier to look at him or the flowers! Thanks for doing this one, I learned a lot. Also, I LOVE when you match up the photos for then and now, I"m sure it takes more work, but I think I speak for everyone that we enjoy it, and APPRECIATE it very much.
Young Marlon was absolutely gorgeous, what a hunk
👍Great Story Jordan, thanks for telling it.Great to know the house is still there. It's also good to know that Marlon was not the bad guy that many portray him to be. He was really down to earth, had his own way of doing things. Love how your enthusiasm is catching Jordan. You have a way of getting peoples attention and pulling them in. It makes listening to whatever you talk about, that more interesting.👍🙂. Love, respect and positivity always. Vee.✌️🕯️💕🖖🙂👋👣.
I love all of your vlogs. I love old Hollywood stories. You make every vlog so very interesting. You are very respectful and a true friend to your friends. Thank you! Sending prayers and well wishes to your Papa. Give us an update on your car. Take care!

This was so great! I love Old Hollywood! I started watching you when you did vlogs on cemeteries and different actors. You had so much information on each actor. It was great! Just you and Jah in that tiny studio apartment. Your stories Shelly Winters told you are awsome! Thanks Jordan❤Take care! I loved your road trip with Scott Michaels! Love his channel too❤
Man - Brando was such a good-looking young dude. Thanks for the great video, Jordan 👍
Loved the Route 66 vlogs! absolutely amazing ! Hi paw to Jah and hope your Grandpa is doing well...

Love breakfasts at diners. That looked scrumptious. Love your videos and historical data. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Jordan , for another great video 📸 📸 Marion Brando was definitely an interesting colorful character , have a great weekend everyone
Great Story Jordan! In a serendipitous way I think Shelley got you to get to the marlon brando house and keep telling her stories. Even though the beloved house was gone, those memories you have of her and old hollywood certainly are not. Thank you so much for these stories!
👍👏👏👏. Great Story Jordan. My Twin and I share a great love for Old Hollywood, the Stars.the movies. We both Love Shelly Winters. Love hearing you talk about your friendship with her, I'm sure you have lots of stories that she told you. Ofcourse Marlon was one of Hollywood's Hunks. He seem to be a Great Guy. Misunderstood but we all have a way of doing things our own way, don't need acceptance, or feel the need to explain why we do the things we do, or why we do them. Glad to see the house is still.there and the cafe. Neat. Take care, looking forward to the next vlog. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita.✌🖖🕯❤🦋✨🌻🙂👋👣.
Very very interesting video Jordan. Marlon Brando lived life his way and such a talented actor. One of the Best

I’ve driven up and down York for 25 years working at Forest Lawn Glendale and never knew the history behind this home. Thanks Jordan!
I know how he feels about Hollywood but loved his videos from back then as that is what got me hooked being I lived there years ago.Nothing stays the same but happy for the success.
Marlon was great, S T E L L A !!!! Thanks for this Jordan ❤❤🇨🇦❤️🫶💕😘😍
Jordan, you will go down as one of the great historians of old Hollywood for sure. Thanks, J
What an interesting story 😊 I'm so glad that you have not totally given up on coming back to California and doing more Hollywood stories from time to time ❤ so much history here!
And yes that roommate you're talking about during that freezing apartment episode was Wally Cox.
Another great video ! You have the best laugh ever Jordan ! Love you and Jah very much !!!! 🧡🙏🏻
So, I have a Marlon Brando story that somewhat confirms his unconventional lifestyle in Hollywood. My Aunt Venna Jean was working in radio in Hollywood in the early 1950's. She was about 25 years old at the time, and by all accounts and by the old headshot pictures I've seen, a very beautiful woman. To pick-up some extra cash, my aunt would work as a stand-in for actresses on film sets, to give them a break in between takes, or while lights were being re-set and cameras moved. My aunt was the stand-in for an actress named Mary Murphy who was playing the lead role in the movie The Wild Bunch with Marlon Brando. One day my aunt was driving out of the studio and on the sidewalk stood Marlon Brando looking a bit lost. She pulled up to the curb and offered him a ride home because he didn't own his own car! I suspect that she took him to the house that Jordan highlighted today!
So glad I found this channel! It popped up in my feed. Love Hollywood history so I’m a new fan!
Let’s go! Great way to start the day with one of your videos
No wonder Brando was sort of weird. How could you possibly turn out normal with parents like that! I guess that’s why he was so close to his a grandmother, she provided a stable home environment he didn’t have. Thanks for this one Jordan.
You know your Hollywood. Love to listen to your vlogs. Thank you Jordan
Love your Hollywood content.
He owned a house in Hollywood Hills that was designed by LA architect Paul Williams. He had this house when he was doing Mutiny on The Bounty. It sits on a triangular lot with streets on all 3 sides. For a while the fence line around the property was electrified to keep curiosity seekers at bay. He was married to Tarita Teriipaia while living in this house. She was 21 years old and liked to sunbathe in the nude. The address is 3222 Benda Place. A family friend owned it and I stayed in it for 8 months. This same house after Marlon moved out was owned by David Carradine of the Kung Fu tv series. They would edit episodes of the show in the garage.
Fascinating reportage.
Truly fascinating! Thanks again, Jordan!
Thank you for being the best at always having the best research at whatever your storyline is.❤❤
Marlon Brando is one of my VERY favorite actors of ALL time! 😌 he was soo out of this world HOT 😳 ESPECIALLY as his role Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire 😍🔥😱🥵 there's no WAY I could've resisted him back then 😏 SUCH a talent he was as well! 😱 I really FELL for him watching the film during Covid 🥵 he was MAGIC in the movie!
Reservoir Dogs is one of my favorite movies. The tip seen was so awesome. Ty for another awesome day.

Jordon, it's like the old days when you volgged about Hollywood. Every place you visited in this video is very near where I live. Wish I knew you were so close by, would have come to say hello. I really loved this one! By the way, I crossed paths with Shelley back in 1980 when we were both in the movie "S.O.B." She was quite the character! Loved her!

What a great vlog Jorden, i always admired brando , his acting was spot on, ❤thk you for the fabulous pictures too hi to Jah 🐾🐾💋
That was wonderful, Jordan. Never knew many details of Marlon's terrible and sad childhood. Explains a whole lot. I saw THE MEN years ago. It must have been on one of the Los Angeles TV stations which ran old movies since it was way before videos of any kind. Very impressive in both realistic acting and story plot. Thanks so much. Take care and kiss Jah for me.
Marlon did not have a 'terrible' childhood. That is not the right word....
Thank you for taking me to all your adventures’ ! He was very Handsome ❤
very good ,thanks.

I live right around the corner from that house.
1949 was the year James Dean graduated high school with 48 other classmates. Crazy to think just a few short years later they’d be working together
Great vlog as usual. Thanks JTL & Jah 😊
Great video!
Birmingham High School was the site of the Veteran's hospital as you mentioned, but there are buildings still standing that were part of the hospital. My neice went to school there and knows much of what was the hospital. What was the chapel is still there as well.
I love the Hollywood stories. Those flowers you passed were beautiful. One reason why I loved your Hollywood vlogs. That house is so cute.
Love all your videos but soooo excited about this one!!!
I found your channel recently and I wanted to thank you. All of the history I have learned is amazing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and stories.

Hi Jordan, you can't escape Los Angeles, it keeps pulling you back ha, ha. Great vlog Jordan.
Not at all. I was there for three days, made as many videos as I could, and ran as fast as possible away. Every time I visit I like and miss it less and less
