Always nice to see a family in a Camry. It was good enough for people decades ago and now it’s even better. Not everybody needs a huge SUV. In fact, most don’t.
I'm a Camry enthusiast. Best, most reliable and stylish family sedan ever made. However, the prices that dealerships want to push are ruining it for me. The nightshade edition with the bronze wheels are 👌
I like Toyota and their reliability. But lately Toyota dealers have become thieves. Markup on hybrid toyota's are insane. We need to stop buying cars with markups.
Fun fact....Camry is an anagram for My car 😃 I had a 91 Camry that I put 520 K miles...it just kept running. They are much more stylish than I remember. Not exciting...but super reliable. It will be a great family sedan if you get one.
@mervinprone 4 cylinder.. When I bought it had dents in front driver and rear passenger sides. It ran so quietly you could barely hear or feel it. AC was cold...it had 98k ... I put every mile thereafter on it until it reached 520000. I replaced the water pump and timing belt twice and I replaced the odometer cable twice. There were miles not recorded. After about 3 years I had it painted. The body lines were straight and it never rusted. People would look at the milage and say No way...I had to get a driver seat cushion. Hands down most reliable car I have ever owned 🙌
Toyota did a great job, and the fact that it hasn’t been redesigned since 2018 proves Toyota doesn’t wanna mess with a good thing. Also this channel is so underrated!!!
Agreed. But I will admit they ruined the 2021 refresh. They cheapened the look and ruined the screen placement The 2020 model especially is the best one to get since it has the same interior as the 2018 and 19 models but brings in a host of upgrades like Android auto AWD on the 4 cylinder and ventilated seats
Many useful and consistent things are addressed in your reviews that others ignore, like stopping smoothness, visibility, arm rest rating, etc. I also appreciate the point of view from your wife. I'd only omit the constant "weee" sound because it keeps us from hearing the actual sound of the car while accelerating, not to mention it's mildly annoying ; ) You have enough "signature" things in your style.
My 2020 Camry Hybrid XLE runs nice, looks nice and runs cheaply. Costs $44 to fill up with 600 mile range. If I’m looking for a ride that brings trills, I’ll buy a second vehicle for fun like a motorcycle.
If you have to get a Camry, the hybrid is the only logical way to go. The V6 is meh on performance, especially with the slow transmission. Interior is pretty meh if not the XLE trim. The blue colour is actually quite nice. I assume a new generation is right around the corner.
Coming from owning STis, I definitely did consider this variant, but we were not really in the market for a car, at this time. Sadly, the bronze wheels are gone / not available in 2024 :(
Micah, Thank goodness you got the Camry before the new one is revealed at the LA Auto Show. I hope Camry's rear seat headroom matches the ample legroom when the new model makes it debut. 🤞🤞
I don't know what you get for this much money in the Accord Hybrid, but that car seems to have more space and a nicer interior. Certainly don't blame anyone who gets a car like this that's practical and gets really good mileage.
It's a beautiful car to drive i bought a 2018 camry SE for my son is fun to drive compare to my 1998 camry v6 a lot of body roll when I turn but the 2018 is firm no body roll i love it beautiful looking car for a 5 years old design can not wait for new one for 2025 models years the camry best selling for a reason thanks for sharing your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada
Whats really shame that this version of the Camry with this color combo and rims cant be found anywhere in my area. Toyota is missing out because I went with a completely different brand. Oh well Toyota.
Updated infotainment column looks out of place, esp since old A/C vents went at top, now looks all blanked off with after thought to design, when look at 2019 model interior makes more sense
The 2020 XSE v6 is the best model Camry you can buy. Not a 2018 or 19 or a 2021. Just a 2020. The exterior looks better the wheels look a lot better, the interior is cleaner and still feels modern even now, nothing looks tacked on like the 2021 w the raised up screen. And most importantly you have a lot of upgrades you can’t get on the 18 or 19 models Also Micah ICYDK if you get the XLE or XSE trims the rear doors get the same soft touch door panels as the front
I had a 2019 XSE V6, was annoyed 2020 had cooled seats only feature I wish it had. I traded it for XSE R4P, I could not get mpg the Camry V6 was rated, I got at most 28 highway. R4P in ICE mode gets like 38.
@@kyrosmike my XSE v6 gets 28-29 mixed driving. Not to mention on the highway I can get as much as 40mpg driving in normal mode. That’s insane for a v6
I'm also looking forward to the new 2025 Camry as long as "more emotive" doesn't translate to "stiffer, harder drive with less headroom" as seems to be the case with recent Toyota redesigns.
I rented one of these about a year ago. Can’t recall what trim, but it was a lower one (no push button ignition). I could not get comfortable in the seats. It was one of the worst car seat experiences I’ve had in many years. I did enjoy the way it drove - good power and very comfortable (mostly highway) cruiser.
Always nice to see a family in a Camry. It was good enough for people decades ago and now it’s even better. Not everybody needs a huge SUV. In fact, most don’t.
If people bought what they needed we would be in sedans and wagons.
Camry is like an old Swiss watch isn’t going to do anything fancy but will tell you time every time. 😆
comparison makes no sense, quartz watches are much more accurate and more reliable than mechanical watches

Camry style is very good IMO. The dash design is kind of a mess though. Very good car especially if you can get a good deal on the hybrid.
Old design. Whole car changes in 2025 model.
Finally!

I have a 2020 se hybrid. I love it. It’s not “fancy” but it’s nice and I like it and it’s comfortable and a great road trip car. I average 41-44 mpg!
Hybrid Camry is the most popular vehicle of choice for sedans as taxis here in Australia & are replacing the Prius even.

I really like the Camry's styling. I wish they made the TRD model with awd.
The SE trim is particularly better than that dry toast style of the Honda Accord. But that's my personal opinion.
A blue Camry with...those wheels. Serious WRX vibes...

I believe that the Camry sold more than any other sedan for a good reason

I love the Muzio family
This vehicle has aged so well I think better than most of the competition! This vehicle is about six years old and still looks incredible🔥❤

Not really it looks dated and is in need of a refresh

Wish they added a moonroof in the night shade edition and make it a home run before the new model...
You should try the TRD I would love your opinion on that trim

its crazy they had the same basic design for 13 years and sold like hot cake year after year.
Cute little channel bro. I'll subscribe for more.

The 2020 model has the same interior as the 2018 and 19 only with a lot more upgrades
Night shade package would suit lighter colours or red better.
The new generation camry is supposed to start production next March
