Your skill is commendable however I still can’t get over your patience. Four hours of just sanding - if that was me I would give up after ten minutes, throw it away and but a new one on eBay. Well done mate. Kevin
Marvelous job! 😀 I just think I would have not polished it to a mirror finish. Mayby a very fine sanding finish would look older. Is there any advantage on leaving a polish finish? I love your videos and your work! 👍 I do feel a tiny disappointment everytime you open that vinegar bottle and there's no "pop" sound... 😅
Lovely work wow, can I please request that you inform us of the type of chemical products you are using? That way I can learn something if I ever want to clean restore old stuff. Thank you and great work...I have a selection of these knives in my shed left over from previous generations of owners, I've already restored five of them myself.

But why did you fill the drain hole at the bottom of th sheath with epoxy.
The scrabbed is not clean inside to keep the shinning knife.
Why did you not push the glue in the crack (suction cup works good) and clamp the handle when glueing? Would be way stronger!😊

Thank you! A polished blade works better and is less prone to corrosion.

You did a good job of it but that blade must not be hardened much past 45 Rockwell.or you would not have been able to file it.

There was no hole. I have such a scabbard without holes.
А що, всі Мори напилками беруться? Чи це окремий екземпляр? Чи там зонне гартування?
Там гартована лише ріжуча частина. Це навіть візуально можна побачити.
