- Old rusty Classic MORA knife restoration. In this video I showed the restoration of an old vintage MORA knife. This knife was made in the 70s in Sweden. The blade of the knife was rusty and damaged. I removed the rust, restored the handle and scabbard. I hope you liked my restoration.

Great job. I love Mora knives, have several modern ones
Thank you! I also use MORA knives)
Great restoration ! The result is too glossy for my taste, but there are a lot of skills.
EPIC JOB!! The work of a Master.

Нове життя старенької мори)))
Hey I have exactly one of those knives lying around somewhere that I got once as a kid. Mine's in significantly better condition, though.

😮. Wow. 👍
This is great restoration! I hope you're not thinking about selling this gem because it would be stupid idea.
Big artist
Lovely work wow, can I please request that you inform us of the type of chemical products you are using?
That way I can learn something if I ever want to clean restore old stuff.
Thank you and great work...I have a selection of these knives in my shed left over from previous generations of owners, I've already restored five of them myself.
Thank you! In the video, I indicated the names of all the substances that I use in the restoration.
Perfection…
Can you tell me what the sheath is made of, plastic? Have one just like it I restored and use every day. Great job sir!
I have that same knife and sheath. Would love to send your way for restoration.
nice
Your skill is commendable however I still can’t get over your patience. Four hours of just sanding - if that was me I would give up after ten minutes, throw it away and but a new one on eBay. Well done mate. Kevin
I turn on my favorite music and dream while I sanding)
Restaurada faca e bainha 🔪😉
😍😍😍
Шведы делают вещи!
The scrabbed is not clean inside to keep the shinning knife.
Marvelous job! 😀
I just think I would have not polished it to a mirror finish. Mayby a very fine sanding finish would look older. Is there any advantage on leaving a polish finish?
I love your videos and your work! 👍
I do feel a tiny disappointment everytime you open that vinegar bottle and there's no "pop" sound... 😅
🙋👍💪 Супер 👍
You did a good job of it but that blade must not be hardened much past 45 Rockwell.or you would not have been able to file it.
A bit too shiny for me. I have two classics and they’re not shiny, but nice job. 🎸🔪
Thank you! A polished blade works better and is less prone to corrosion.
Dope AF results, @ReXtorer, on both the knife and the scabbard!
That leather sheath was quite thirsty for some oil.
Why did you not push the glue in the crack (suction cup works good) and clamp the handle when glueing? Would be way stronger!😊
I clamp the handle but behind the scenes
✌👍
But why did you fill the drain hole at the bottom of th sheath with epoxy.
10:45 Who else is seeing a face in the wall right above the tip of the blade?! 😮
What is the material of the scabbard? It looks either leather or plastic?
It seems to me that it is pressed paper impregnated with resins
@@ReXtorer interesting! Thank you!
At the bottom of the scabbard there were special holes for draining water. You covered it with epoxy. And the glossy handle of the knife is a very decorative solution. Not for use
Hi! There was no hole in this scabbard. I have several MORA knives from this period and none of them have a hole in the scabbard. There is a modern MORA knife with a plastic scabbard, there is a hole
@@ReXtorer well of course like it
bro teh hole on bottom was intentional. it was a weep hole
There was no hole. I have such a scabbard without holes.

А що, всі Мори напилками беруться? Чи це окремий екземпляр? Чи там зонне гартування?
Там гартована лише ріжуча частина. Це навіть візуально можна побачити.
