I was the shark player; my opening hand was ash, droplet, imperm, desires, and angler. Desires drew me imperm and one for one while banishing all of my copies of beatunaful and several of my other starters. I then drew ash, then droplet, then shthana. My deck list has 14 cards that can represent a one card xyz and the only one I drew was the one for one after banishing all targets.
I feel you.

I know the Vanity’s ruler turbo build has been more successful recently, but I personally like this version better. Amorphactor Pain is a solid boss monster in his own right that doesn’t eat your normal summon so you can make full use of Diviner to play through interruption.
I have been doing a set up that uses both. If you get both out your opponent is dead

Amorphactor Pain is cool and all, but I prefer Chaos Max Dragon.
Not only is it a beast in general, but if you devote one extra deck space to Geonator Transverser, you can creature swap your opponent a defense position Drytron and just OTK.
That’s a going first deck, if you try to play it going second you will be literally destroyed, rarely I win a game going second

Drytron made Cyber Angels playable so I mean it's not all bad.

I actually bought a SuperPoly on tcgplater, but it got in late, so as a consolation, they also gave me a Benten and a gamma.

Run Borreload Riot, it's a resource loop with any drytron in grave cause you just destroy your draw for turn for riot in gy, then tribute riot for gamma, badda Bing badda boom ritual soup is fun

It doesn't NEED to skip more than one. The fact of matter is if you remotely get into your Drytron engine there is no turn 4 for your opponent to get a MP1 since you OTK turn 3.
MBT pretty much bricked on blue cards is the only reason this game lasted as long as it did. If you make Pain against something like Swordsoul they just kind of lose because they can't out it without hard drawing an out like Droplet or Blackout.

I like using Prosperity + Terminal World + Parthian Shot for that skip your whole dang turn trolling. Makes the deck brickier but it's funny.
You just need to run one Amorphactor since you can just summon it over and over every turn due to Drytrons' crazy recursion.
Thunder of Ruler + Trap trix also works, your opponent needs to to leave the battle phase in order to go into Main phase 2, it’s a weird ruling that also allows this turn skip.
i really like the dogmatika rituals in drytron, they only have 500 atk so a single drytron is enough to summon them, also dogmatika is one of the few archetypes i know of that can ritual summon from deck with their trap card, i use the magikey one aswell because it's a machine enabling another negate on your xyz + the magikey trap.

This is actually similar to the build I've been using since Master Duel started, except instead of Amorphactor Pain, I have a Nekroz of Unicore plus Kaleidoscope.

The deck IS cool, people think it isn't because they think the deck can't do anything aside from turboing Herald
When in reality the deck can do so much, and is unstoppable once it has +2 Drytrons in the GY
My favorite Drytron builds are the Za Warudo and infinite Life point/otk one.
This list would be way better with a terminal world, its funnier.

The real question is amorphactor pain vs plasma turbo
I have the Fucho bird in my megalith drytron deck in master duel and I still have absolutely no idea what the point of having it there is
It’s an unaffected monster that you can sit on and crash into things to make Zeus with (it’s basically an assembled nightingale sidegrade)
Free zeus and if your going first and one of you opening gets interrupted you can’t get otk’d next turn
A - you ran out of mu betas
B - easy zeus
You can still special out alpha even if you get hand trapped
I know that both are pretty viable options, but I still prefer Assembled Nightingale to Fucho because there's potential for you to get 2 Zeus activations for the same effort. Not likely, but still its possible, which is more than I can say for Fucho who needs Downered for even one activation
You should really give a build with Megaliths and Batosbuster a try. It doesn’t put up the pseudo-FTK board Drytron is known for but they’re much more versatile and can make their own equally threatening plays. It doesn’t brick nearly as much as the Herald builds do either. There have been multiple tops in the new format and before it with that version of the deck. I’m far from having mastered it, but I feel like once I do I’ll never want to go back to the Herald builds.

When I saw the lv 8 blue ritual it reminded me of the turn skip this deck was able to preform via thunder of ruler and it I don't know if that combo is still possible and I hope it isnt

So in edo pro and the japanese translation, Amorphactor Pain says "If this card is ritual summoned, your opponent..." indicating that it doesn't start a chain, but the tcg printing has a colon "If this card is ritual summoned: your opponent"
does tcg honor the ocg ruling or the tcg psct?

How could this deck be adapted/improved for Masterduel? I really enjoyed watching this deck in the CSM and I’d like to play it in MD.
I tried building the Deck in MD, but its slightly Problematic. Blind going second works, but Maxx C Being legal means you have to adjust most likely. I tried fitting three Maxx C (bc resolving it is a legit win condition) and cutting some Drytron cards for it. I would suggest trying the Deck out first in solo Mode. It works and is fun, but i would wait and save my gems for the New Packs that get Released in 10 days.
1:41 why do people keep playing this card if lyrilusc is way better? Seriously, you're throwing two materials in to the garbage for nothing, it's more likely to just suicide the first copy of the Drytron XYZ and then make a second one at main two.

In Master Duel I like to include a megalith package, it can give you a decent end-board even if you only have the ritual searcher drytron, and then on your opponenets turn you can pop 3+ cards which sometimes is more valuable than just omni-negates.
What about Drytron Gishiki
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Drytron Herald pass. The gameplay is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the plays will go over a typical duelist's head. There's also the thicc tight tighes of Hearld of Perfection, which is deftly woven into its creation- its personal effect draws from skill-based flood gates of skill drain, imperial order, and mystic mine. The players must truly understand this gameplay; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the skills of these plays, to realize that they're not just skillful- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Drytron Herald pass truly ARE idiots- of course, they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the skill in tributing Cyber Angel Benten, Ben Ten referring to both the number of negates the deck can put out turn one and the classic space opera of Ben Ten Alien Force. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Alexander Cimo's genius unfolds itself on their playmats. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have an Ahegao body pillow of Drytron Meteonis Draconids. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Boring list, i play a Spicer version on masterduel by adding 3xduel terminal so i can skip the opponent's both main phases and of course 3 prosperity so i can have almost 6 copies and you can keep summoning the amorphactor pain every turn you need to try this
