If he had a decent team he would have already been a champion. Even now, other than Kyrie, his team can barely dribble or pass, just a couple of trees that can dunk, rebound and play defence. Some of them are decent shooters, but nobody can pass or dribble other than the 2 of them.
This was always dumb af. He won the Euro basket at 17 with slovenia, won the Euro league+finals MVP at 18 and dragged a team of second rounders to the WCF at 23. If he wins the title this year he is on serious goat trajectory and that is not even debatable.

To be fair, Jordan was an incredibly good defensive player, even winning dpoy and first all defensive honors many times. Defense is generally underrated when discussing players overall contribution, and Luka has improved as a defensive player. But let's be real. Kobe/LeBron/Jordan/Kareem/Olajuwon are among the best to ever play the game, and all of them were at points of their careers feared defensively for good reason.
If he wins a total of 10 scoring titles (7 in a row too) , DPOY, 3 steals titles, 6 chips and 6 FMVPs, 5 league MVPs, 2 Olympic gold medals (one with amateur teammates) , 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season (twice), then definitely he will be the GOAT

And nobody on that list can pass it like him…. Luka, Kidd, Nash, and Jokic are on their own level passing wise. Magic, Bron, and Stockton are a tier below. Don’t get me wrong…Magic was great, but he made normal passes look amazing and Luka makes amazing passes look easy. Stockton was a great passer, but having Karl Malone as his pick and roll partner helped his assist numbers a ton. Those top 4 guys though are the only guys I’ve seen COMPLETELY control a game with their passing.

What a fantastic game from Luka. To do this in Minnesota, who were desperate to win at home and try to regain some momentum, and he just crushes it from the start and plays superb.

Luka has not really been playing well these playoffs. Look at his shooting splits. If he has two games like this in the Boston series where he is just on one and nobody can stop his ass then it's over and Dallas is winning the championship
Knee and ankle injuries were too blame initially. He finished OKC with 3 straight trip subs and higher efficiency, and series v Wolves he’s back to near 50 / efficiency. Now with weeks rest he will be prime v Boston
