It’s nothing short of completely insane that Luka is shooting 39% on 10+ three point attempts per game, and shots like 1:15 1:38 3:32 3:57 4:06 are what a majority of his three point attempts look like.
You can live with his pre-2024 career numbers. 34% on 8 attempts per game.
But 39% on 10?
You have no defensive choice that doesn’t result in Dallas getting good looks.
That's great and all but what he really needs is to up his FT% to a consistent mid 80s for the playoffs. Also he needs to score near the basket more he is automatic from 0-3 ft he's almost 82% there same as guys who live there like Giannis

I made the comparison to Messi because of their ability to create magic on any given night. I’ve only heard one athlete ever being called “magical” before Luka and that was Messi. Also, like Messi, you can’t pinpoint his best ability. Is his best ability scoring? Passing and shot creation? Dribbling? Shooting? You cannot define Luka’s game exactly how we can’t define the type of player Messi was and still is

I was expecting from Kevin DeRun to show up with a big game Christmas game whether they'd lose or not. However, Kevin DeRun played like a good veteran about to retire. He has nothing to expect from his career any more other than reaching at 30.000 regular season career points and capture the 8th position right behind Wilt.
