You forgot booze and food: Vineyards, Craft Breweries, Hard Cider, etc. Over half the Downtown Mall is bars and restaurants hahah. It’s barely a city but is JAM PACKED with restaurants (Top 20 per capita) Nelson County is basically a wine and beer tour on the weekends. C-Ville is pretty and clean and bougie af lol
@@leonardsheatravel No problem. I lived in and around Charlottesville for about 20 years. All jokes aside, central VA / Shenandoah valley is truly picturesque and a great place to raise a family. Thanks for the video, take care🤘
Things you failed to mention about The Peoples' Republic Of Charlottesville: 1) It used to be a nice place to visit for a day trip before yankees, liberal professors, and DC hangers on moved there and did not like the statues or the culture and chose to erase them. 2) Thomas Jefferson is no longer considered a heroic founding father if you take the guided tour of Monticello. He is derided as a slave owner. 3) Due to liberal policies, vagrants and panhandlers have free rein on the downtown mall. 4) It is the southernmost edge of the DC/northern Virginia "blue blight" before you get into the red central Virginia.
