I've been producing for like 8 years and this dude just now showed me how to get rid of the audio clips I never used and how to export an audio track quickly
I don’t even own a guitar, but in terms of operating FL and learning to make beats as a beginner this is probably the most helpful video I’ve seen. Thank you
You are a absolute diamond in the youtube music production, I was looking for an FL Studio tutorial like that for months now and you just did it all. Keep up this beautiful work man
a really good practice that will save you time is playing and recording along a metronome / beat. that way you wont have to quantize and it feels more natural
damn bro your mixing is really good. love the way the drums sounded after, really really really clean feel. keep up the videos, youre heping me learn! love you brother
Yo just a little trick my guy , when u wanna center the notes ; instead of dragging them to the line just select the notes u wanna center (if you want to select everything just click CTRL + A) then to center them you wanna click CTRL + Q and you’ll be good ;)
Homie these videos are great. As an edm/hip hop producer wanting to get into rock/live music producing, this is excellent. You do a great job of explaining yourself, and your personal music sounds awesome. You definitely know what you are doing! Easy sub 👌
I just wanna hear the final product. You should really add a timestamp. Sometimes you watch a tutorial, then hear the final product and go "wait a minute..."
I dig it, and i think the high pitch guitar is nice but for punk IMO you gotta have those thrashing overdrive electric guitars otherwise its just some bass light guitar picking and fast drums, just sounds empty.
super cool! that drum pattern is nottt playable though. generally if i’m programming live-sounding drums, i try to make it something someone with only 2 hands could play. just my two cents though!
@@ryleyfountain45 there are closed and open hats happening at the exact same time, plus a drum fill while the hats go. i’m a drummer for 8 years. no it’s not😂 if nothing else, it’s physically impossible to play open and closed hi hats at the exact same time
Hey feezo, awesome video, I learned a lot! Quick question, I purchased a VST called Addictive Drums 2, is there a way I can get the sounds of a VST like that and put it in the beat-maker (sorry don't know the term for it) where you were putting your kicks and snares etc? At the moment I always have to play the parts live and it's not the best...
Yes that's what the piano roll is for, it's not possible to do it with the step sequencer which is what the "beat maker" you said, since that's used for 1 sound at a time
@@feezo Forgot i even commented this! I actually know how to play guitar a decent bit so idk why i commented this lmfao, but i still learn a lot from your videos!
hey random question I use fruity zgame for visuals, I can get my webcam to show up like yours, but how do you actually record a video? that looks like it would save me screen space

yo brosky is it possible to create a mgk avril lavigne type of beat using just fl studio ? cause i dont know how to play guitar. :o@@feezo
He do be hydrated tho
Faxxx
😂😂😂
Probably from all the heat beats he makes
If you choose a bpm before you start recording, you can record the guitar with a metronome and it will save you TONS of time with quantizing
You're a natural teacher.
Thank you bro

Thank you bro much love :))
Never knew this was how u quantized audio in FL
Respect to y’all’s patience. I could never do that.
Lowkey I think there’s a better way thru slicex, but I learned this way so that’s how I’ve always done it lmao
@@feezo this is so helpful ive been using newtone since lol
they did just add NewTime which makes it cleaner and easier
@@feezo Newtime works well too
Most easiest way is to go to quantize settings and give it a strength of your liking between 0-100 %
The amount of tips just for FL Studio in general is amazing! I've been using FL for a fat minute and the amount of shortcuts I learned today thank you

Great video for beginners! My only request would be to go over how you came up with your bassline, and when/how it was added!
This helps a lot. Thank you so much. I'm struggling to make this kind of sound, especially with FL Studio. Thank you so much.
I’m glad I could help out :)
Good job one of the only good videos I’ve seen on here for alternative beats
Genuinely think I've been getting recommended videos that stay hydrated

You can also quantize your recorded loop in newtone.
Newtime, newtone is the pitch correction plugin. But newtime makes all my audio sounds like ass, I don't think it's very good
Yea newtime is a little touchy always for me
this is firee
Thank you :)

Hey man!!
U used cowbell in ur reticle beat
Right?
Um I don’t think it was a cowbell exactly. I’m not sure. Just some type of bell
when exporting a clip you can also just select the clip and do ctrl+alt+c lol
