Massive shoes to fill but I think they've found a worthy replacement. Saw them live earlier in the year in Taiwan and they were unreal. John is a beast.

01:20 Transitions like this is why I love this band so much. One of the most “hold up, what just happened!?” moments in the new releases I’ve heard recently. And it’s not just a moment, it’s everything that follows. What an epic song. What an epic REBIRTH.
No kidding, I love the feelings when I have goosebumps from a song at a certain point. But in this point I didn't have only goosebumps, I also cried, it just evoke such a strong emotions i didn't know i had and by the ending I felt like I was reborn.
What a banger. Ryo is next level and I watched his interview with nik nocturnal and im glad he's in a happier mindset and will be missed from CL but I believe they found the right guy to take the mantle. Job well down fellas
Just saw Crystal Lake open up for SIM in Montreal and was blown away by their performance, so Im looking their music up on YT. I literally have not seen a set that explosive and good since AFI on the Art of Drowning tour, 21 years ago. Made a new fan.
This was about everything that I hoped for after when they released essentially was a teaser song. Instrumentals are killer as always, vocalist absolutely nailed it and the structure of the song is awesome. Like what the song name says. This to me is the rebirth of the band and they 100% nailed it!
I miss Ryo's vocals, and while I'm still not completely sold on Robert's vocals for this band, I gotta say, this song did not disappoint. Looking foward to see what they have for us next.

There's a lot of familiarity here, which makes sense (you don't want to go too far into a new direction without having something to anchor you to the path you climbed to get here), but what's new is so wonderfully added in. And when you expect a massive drop, there's tangible beauty instead. Honestly, this is heavy music as art and it's incredible.
i've been following robert since his joining of last ten seconds, i saw you with LTSOL in Huddersfield a few years back, and i covered the whole of the violent sound. so seeing you grow in another incedible band is amazing. keep up the great work guys.
I’m coming here after listening to Crystal Lake’s episode on Chris Garza’s podcast and I’ve gotta say this. I had no intentions of listening to their new stuff after Ryo leaving, but seeing how cool of a dude John is I had to check out what he’s got and honestly I wish I would have checked out their new stuff sooner. This band never disappoints!
I liked the part where they ascended to a higher plane of existence. Jokes aside: I thought it was pretty average cookie-cutter stuff, until 1:22 hit. Everything from that point on was just pure magnificence. More of that, please! The video is gorgeous as well.
if you had told me in 2011 when I went to a local show for the first time that John from My bitter end (and later on tltsol) would wind up in a major Japanese metalcore band over a decade later; I probably would've believed you. Dude has always had pipes.
