Crystal Lake are still new comers (and harmly welcomed ones) mainly known thanks to The Sign but they're nothing compared to ABR yet. They're on their way to become metalcore legends tho. I hope they won't go generic and boring rock shit at their fifth or sixth album like many metalcore bands do ahah
saw them open for currents, northlane and erra. never seen so much energy. his vocals in studio dont even do him justice for his live performance. i met him too. little guy with the diaphragm of a giraffe

His english screaming accent is perfect. To be honest, they look like a normal metalcore band until you learn that they're actually Japanese, which makes it even better. Japanese musicians put a lot of effort in making masterpieces on their music. Hands up

I will be 40 this year! I saw a ton of bands live over the years, and I was blown away after a long, long time when I saw this last November these guys live! Wow! Definitely of the best live bands to catch! The energy on stage is impressive and on another level!
I really appreciate the close contact with the fans, i.e getting up in their faces and singing with them. Especially in metal, you are nothing without the bond with your fans. The rest of the world looks at metal fans with derision or sometimes outright hostility. Metal shows give many people an outlet for their frustrations or a small chance to escape from a shitty home life for awhile. Its nice that they really seem to appreciate the audience that way. I don't know if that makes sense, but if you've been to a lot of metal shows I think you'll understand what I'm saying. Its kind of like a surrogate family for outcasts and people who don't know how to fit in anywhere else. Anyway, great band and I'm glad Japan is starting to make its mark overseas.

I saw them with Miss May I, Fit For A King and August Burns Red....Ive never seen the venue i was out go so nuts for an opener. The place was packed from start to finish and was the best line up for metalcore ive been too. PLEASE COME BACK TO POUGHKEEPSIE NY AGAIN
