Great review Anthony. I agree with you that I really like the styling a bit better more than mine. Having to get the warm weather pkg. II think) to get cooled seats is ridiculous. My 2 pet peeves are the cup holders are just too small and armrest on the driver's door is just way too far away. I think this is due for a refresh next year but I still love the looks. 114 here today and I soaked up the AC. It sounds like you have had a really nice trip but, for me at least, it's always nice to come home. Have a good one Anthony
I agree it is in need for a refresh. Wow that is very hot, I would stay inside too and relax. Hopefully it cools back down under the 100s for you guys. It’s the last few hours now and even though I would like to have stayed longer it’s time to get back to my normal lol. Happy Monday James
I have the ‘23 version of the standard SQ5. Same color same packages. 2025 DOES have a bit more hp I have seen. I am not sure if the exhaust has the real sport tips as mine, looks like no. The interior of the ‘25 is very different; larger touch screen, cup holders are move to the “vertical” along the passenger side of the center console; so a narrower shifter. My only complaint is that in typical driving there are few opportunities to wind up the turbo. I can be way over the speed limit in a heartbeat. The only time I can really let it loose is on highway entry ramps and by the time I want to merge I am doing 90. I do think the cars “sedate” look can help avoid the attention of cops. I do not feel the air suspension makes the car “boaty” at all. The dynamic suspension setting is very tight. This is by no mans a Porsche but I got mine for about $25,000-$30,000 less than a Macan S. Not worth the extra $3k+ for the sportback in my view
Thanks for your insight, when I did this review, all the specs was a carry over except styling on the outside and some updates on the inside. Unfortunately this can happen when doing reviews in advance to full specs released but it was suggested by my team at the time to showcase.
