It took a while for me to do it but im back with movie reactions and a promise i gave to you all, time to watch Katniss and my best boy Peeta in more heartbreak as i finally continue watching this franchise, The Hunger Games Catching Fire!!!!

Most reactors if they haven't read the books miss that when Katnis goes in for her assessment and sees that art work of Rue that is was Peeta who did it (look closely at his hands as they pass by each other, there is paint on them). He used his artistic talent not to show off or gain votes but rather to paint a tribute to Rue and to innocence - that the children who die matter and are human beings. It's one of the ways he is pushing back and rebelling against this machine. Katnis knows it was him and seeing his beautiful tribute to Rue further drives that anger and as a result she does that with the dummy.

If you think the previous victors going back into the games is fucked up, the first Quarter Quell, the districts had to vote which tribute to send into the arena, and for the second, the districts had to pay twice the amount of tributes, and those were the games Haymitch won. A friend of Katniss's mother went that year, too. She made it to the final five.

This was a 3 book series teaching about politics and war.
Hamich has more PTSD than Katniss does. That explains why he self medicates with alcohol.
