Pretty views of my very pretty old homestate I moved from to Western N.C. in 2014 i still love Vermont but I couldn't hack the long winters. Beautiful Green Mtns but the cold stick season can be brutally cold and hostile to say the least!!! And the reddish brown stained water in some of the rivers is natural organic decaying matter tannens in the water that obviously flowed from an upstream peat marsh or boggy area. And what a beautiful sunrise. Glad yall got off trail for a couple days and stayed safe. Happy trails and land your footsteps safely ahead of you 👣🌄🍀
I love when you shoot behind you and smile. So important to take the time to take your surroundings in. All around you, there are blessings, and they belong to you! Thank you for allowing us along.✌♥️
You are kill'in it girl!!!!! You look so happy, so content......this trail is good for you! The trail has changed you. You are really enjoying the little things. You almost had tears looking back up that green section of trail. Yes, this trail is good for you, You are definitely NOT the same quiet, timid person that I met at Gooch Gap.....and that is a good thing. You are open to new sights, new experiences, new feelings from nature. Yep, this trail has changed you and it is forever. I told you that it would, and it is all for the better. Embrace nature because it is warming you for tomorrow. Hike safe, Hike strong, Have fun! geek
1700+ miles! Less than 500 to Mt. Katahdin! You probably don’t remember when I mentioned that I looked forward to the time when you would start talking about the trail and what it does to the heart, mind and soul. I enjoyed this weeks vlog so much as I think that time has arrived. Also, I’m reminded of those instagram posts which say, for instance, ‘ tell us what state you are from without saying the state’s name’. In this weeks vlog, you answered the this: Tell us you are smart without saying, ‘I’m smart’ . Happy Trails!
So very glad you took 2 days off during those days of heavy rain! ⛈️🌧️. You all were very smart to do that! I love the water crossings and I love when you film all those flowers on trail! 🌸🌼🌻🌺. So very pretty! Congratulations on 1,700 miles. 👏👏👏👏. 500 miles to Mt K. Your almost there! 😊. Stay safe & Hike On. ☔️🙏🇺🇸🥾🏕️🧗♀️.
Great week on trail, albeit a bit soggy. You're all doing g fantastic and I'm so glad you should milkweed. I was wondering. Thanks for sharing your journey. 😊
Great video. I think this was your most upbeat one so far. You have come so far and your positive attitude is what I believe is keeping you going. Keep pressing on. Your gonna make, I'm sure of it. I'm rooting for you and your trail mates. Wishing all of you the best. " Keep On Stepping "...lol
@@patriciasimmons6067 think of the Forest floor like a giant tea bag. With a lot of rain, tannins wash from the leaves and into rivers giving it that iodine color. Florida has a lot of creeks and rivers that are iodine brown from tannin. Iron oxide runs red.
21:40 thank you for capturing and sharing this moment.🎉🎉
23:35 the roar and raw beauty of that waterfall 😊
You are doing great and looking gorgeous. Good luck with rest of the way.
Love watching your videos!! You did a great job! I think the sculptures your talking about are cairns.
I love your beauty and the way in which nature wells up within your heart and very being
21:19 😊 Nature's symmetry right there. This was a great moment TC. ✌️

I sleep soooo much better when it’s raining! I love the sound of it hitting my window! I love metal roofs in the rain too!

You are doing great ! Enjoyed seeing all the bridges. Keep heading north you got this.
Thank you!!
Wonderful. Glad you are still doing well. You are now in my favorite section of the trail. Stay well. 🏕️🏔
Thank you!!
I was worried about you because you didn’t post for 11 days. Anyway happy you are OK.
Yep, just some storage issues on my phone. Thanks for following along!

Congratulations on 1,700. You considered running? You are amazing! Stay safe on the water crossings.
Yes, I love running! I have a few ultra videos on my channel as well as some background info in my About Me video if you’re interested.
I'll check out the other videos. I am very impressed with your energy level this far into your thru hike. Thanks for the videos.
What is the name of the song on your video! I couldn’t find it on the link in your info section.
It’s called Sonic Bloom by Cherry Blossom Special.
Can you tell me about the long sleeve shirt/jacket that you are wearing?
My sun shirt is from Jolly Gear. I also have a fleece from Lightheart Gear.
The water is that color because tannin.
Oh and Craig Mains just started his 8th thru hike of the AT at the Canadian border, so you might run into him in Maine
Because of iron I was thinking.
