If they were so upset that there wasn't enough indicting the right, then I knew it wasn't the left - pandering junk I thought it might be. While i never quite got around to finishing it, it was quite fun and had good gun handling. I also really enjoyed the surreal choir music. It was longer than the original game (or at least took many players longer) and improved almost everything, but it was an expansion, not it's own game. That is the point being made here. It is entirely valid and correct. If you played 2, you still had to learn 3. If you've played 3, you know exactly how to play 4 and 5. There's no real new learning curve. Far Cry 5 is the pretty much the same amount of fun as Far Cry 3. The difference is, you were probably 14 when you first played Far Cry 3 and it blew your mind.

Imo it's not about having too much multiplayer, it's more about the multiplayer feeling forced and too cookie cutter. I'd recommend Resistance 2 as a single-player game with two big great multiplayer modes, too bad the franchise flopped and the mp was taken down, tho the point is that a great single-player game can have really good multiplayer elements. No game just really innovates much.
I agree a lot of games are to focused on the multiplayer aspect and not enough on the single player aspect the replayability. For example the dark souls series is very single player driven that's why people do new game +++++ just cause it's fun to play call of duty you finish the campaign then go straight to multiplayer that gets boring after a while to wait for the next cod game reskin.

if you listen to the radios in cars you will sometimes get breaking news, which tells you multiple peace’s treaties have fallen through with the Middle East, and Moscow got bombed, You are able to hear information trickle in from the outside but can not access someone from elsewhere. I think the story is excellent becuase it truly depicts a very hyperbolic aspect of American culture, whilst also leaving the undertale of the story hidden for those who are more observant. The cult represents how America is very much at war with itself and many people are distant to what might happen outside of the country. In a lot of the dialogue and the underlying story it represents strongly today’s issues. People often say that the story is crap and point out all it teaches are that cults are bad. However this is not the true message. It was never about the cult, or if you believed in god or not, but it was about the fact that America has been on the brink of war with many different countries over the past decades, and in this universe, it has collapsed.

The game was pretty good, I didn't like the ending though, not because it's 'dark' or something, but because it made the whole playing of the game pointless and replayability is pretty much a no no after this ending.

If you want to play your character as a conservative bible banger, that is fine. I choose to play as a Satanist who loves Jesus, but my character has to move slowly, because he is still suffering from his bone spurs that he had when he was draft dodging during the Viet Nam war. Also he is pretty rich because his father gave him a small loan of a million dollars. He is on his third marriage, which will probably come to an end. Oh yeah, almost forgot. He also wants to fuck his daughter ibanka. Which the name is a mixture of ivanka, and obama.
I just want to say as a lefty, I found this game amazing. These butthurt reactions make me laugh. Being uncomfortable due to this game’s setting and cultural differences is silly at best and moronic at worst. I come from a very purple state. Liberals and conservatives get along just fine when politics aren’t involved, and we’re very aware that just because you have the opposite view, it doesn’t make you evil or a monster. At most we just tend to think of each other as misinformed or misunderstanding the true issues. I have found that most issues arise when religion or politics are involved. FC5 is fun, NO BS. F the snowflakes from right or left. Ubisoft is very deliberate & actually pretty smart on this, taking a shots at every angles on everybody as they know actual gamers don't care for this kind of BS. What really important is great combat, fun, & solid experience. I liked it but the only problem for me is that your character is pretty much lifeless. I liked the back stories of Jason and Ajay in the previous Far Cry's, it made the plot a lot more interesting.

I don’t like Farcry 5 because the game is repetitive and has not a of progression, on top of weak story characters other than Joseph and Jacob. I don’t think it’s anywhere near game of the year, if anything they’ve taken features out if you compare it to the other games

I realize this is 5 months late but no joke, I bought FC5 when I saw the hate from the "mainstream" gaming press. 1, 2, and 3 were all entirely different games - almost even different genres. 4, primal, and 5 are updated versions of 3. New setting, new weapons, a few new gameplay elements, sure. But thats what a fucking expansion pack was. Hell not even a large expansion pack. Go look at the old Brood War expansion for Starcraft. It was longer than the original game (or at least took many players longer) and improved almost everything, but it was an expansion, not it's own game. That is the point being made here. It is entirely valid and correct.
If you played 2, you still had to learn 3. If you've played 3, you know exactly how to play 4 and 5. There's no real new learning curve.

Well the scene was part of the main story, one could miss the scene with the senator if they didn't care to unlock Hurk as a companion. They even go meta and criticize themselves as media creators with the director that has you get rid of the sound sources.

As a SJW I gotta say that this is all some silly nonsense and cherry picking. Most people who would be called or call themselves SJWs love this game because it shows the difference between the good and the bad types, and how the negligence and complacency of the good types lets these extremest Nazi cult types rise amidst them. Even better it shows how dangerous and sick these kinds of groups are and how close their real-life counterparts are to becoming what they are in the game. As they say in the first cutscene: "people don't want to believe groups like these exist" but in the deep south countless thousands of conservative extremest are actually like this, they want to become militant and start various types of "cleansing".
There are countless real cases of conservative hate groups in southern towns going around shooting any minority they see or pulling families out of there homes to burn alive and they usually get away with it. Conservative media doesn't ever touch it and it happens so often and is so depressing and hard to sensationalize that even most of the left are tired of addressing it, but this game brings a lot of attention to them and throws the dark side of the right in it's face so it's fuckin awesome.

Imo it's not about having too much multiplayer, it's more about the multiplayer feeling forced and too cookie cutter.
I'd recommend Resistance 2 as a single-player game with two big great multiplayer modes, too bad the franchise flopped and the mp was taken down, tho the point is that a great single-player game can have really good multiplayer elements. No game just really innovates much.
I agree a lot of games are to focused on the multiplayer aspect and not enough on the single player aspect the replayability. For example the dark souls series is very single player driven that's why people do new game +++++ just cause it's fun to play call of duty you finish the campaign then go straight to multiplayer that gets boring after a while to wait for the next cod game reskin.

I think the story is excellent becuase it truly depicts a very hyperbolic aspect of American culture, whilst also leaving the undertale of the story hidden for those who are more observant. The cult represents how America is very much at war with itself and many people are distant to what might happen outside of the country. In a lot of the dialogue and the underlying story it represents strongly today’s issues. People often say that the story is crap and point out all it teaches are that cults are bad. However this is not the true message. It was never about the cult, or if you believed in god or not, but it was about the fact that America has been on the brink of war with many different countries over the past decades, and in this universe, it has collapsed.

The game was pretty good, I didn't like the ending though, not because it's 'dark' or something, but because it made the whole playing of the game pointless and replayability is pretty much a no no after this ending.

If you want to play your character as a conservative bible banger, that is fine. I choose to play as a Satanist who loves Jesus, but my character has to move slowly, because he is still suffering from his bone spurs that he had when he was draft dodging during the Viet Nam war. Also he is pretty rich because his father gave him a small loan of a million dollars. He is on his third marriage, which will probably come to an end. Oh yeah, almost forgot. He also wants to fuck his daughter ibanka. Which the name is a mixture of ivanka, and obama.
I just want to say as a lefty, I found this game amazing. These butthurt reactions make me laugh. Being uncomfortable due to this game’s setting and cultural differences is silly at best and moronic at worst. I come from a very purple state. Liberals and conservatives get along just fine when politics aren’t involved, and we’re very aware that just because you have the opposite view, it doesn’t make you evil or a monster. At most we just tend to think of each other as misinformed or misunderstanding the true issues. I have found that most issues arise when religion or politics are involved.
