- Every year me and a group of friends go to Taseko Lakes for a weekend of fun. It's located in a very remote area on the coastal mountain range in the Cariboo/Chilcotin region of BC. From Vancouver for me it is about 16-18hrs of driving, around 1/3 of the total time it's off-road. We are many miles from the nearest village and in total isolation from civilization. I love the trip every year, I already can't wait to start packing my gear for the next one. This year was I believe the worse forest fire season in history for BC, I captured just a very tiny part of the devastation.
Here is the fifth video from the trip, I will post more. Sorry in advance for shaky video, my 6" quad had some vibrations which I didn't notice in flight.
Big shout-out as usual to all who are helping me to chase my dreams: TeamCanadaFPV, UVify, NationalBank, Rotorgeeks, RaceKraft, TinyWhoop, ParagonUAV

It is absolutely beautiful out there
I was there in the summer of 1954, when it was called the Whitewater Lodge and owned by a fellow from Tacoma Washington named Bill Gemmell. It took the better part of a day in a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there. I think the shed at 5.05 in the video was there then, the original lodge to the right.
Great!!
Incredible. Is there good places to spot griz out there other than Chilko? Thanks
Yeah, we've seen plenty of bear poo on the road up to the peak of the mountain opposite to the Taseko Lake Lodge
