Might sound crazy but it is really how I feel when listening to Golden Gat by Riopy.
When I hear this song I imagine sorrow finding happiness only to feel misery and then realizing that it is OK to feel that way and being happy with that.
I know just what you mean. There is a certain melancholy about this music, but its beauty overcomes it and brings peace.

The scene that comes to mind is a person standing near an edge of endless chasm....as he remembers the love ones gone. He remembers the good times and then the ending of those times. As he stares into the chasm, he feels someone hug him and pull him back from the edge...and then the song ends. In the end, to feel lost is to know that love was there... because it means that you loved someone more than you love yourself.
