So this deletes the NPP function of track/sport and tour/snow. Unless the 11:02 actuator at the video end is what hooks up and controls the damper valve. Am i missing something. Thanks. Nice car, nice sound
Nice and very informative video 👍🏻 Do you think that all the PLM axel back made off T304 stainless or just the end tips ? The best way to know is magnetic test. T304 It does not magnetize. What is your observation?
HI you said you have drone at normal cruising levels I just want my SS louder not crazy loud or that rapsy crap maybe a little deeper tone but with no drone . I like this exhaust and MBRP this one is cheaper so how bad is the drone love the car and great video on the install
It’s loud af!!! 🤣 Normal city driving produces plenty of drone/reverberating inside the cabin. Only once you’ve gotten to your sustained cruising speed does it chill out and level out the drone noise to a minimum and that’s not annoying. Haha 😂 but I like it for now. It’s definitely similar to a NASCAR tho.
Yes, there is drone above 1,500 rpm’s but, it’s nominal and I’ve gotten so used to it now that the exhaust is perfectly where I want it. It was just too quiet with stick muffler but I didn’t want to remove cats for warranty. This kit is not perfect. It’s good but not perfect. Mine has a little more gap between tailpipes on right side. Also the bolt on tips are too easy to physically move them. I’m afraid one may come off at some point so I’m fixing to tac weld mine in place and try to get my pipes lined up the same. But, I love the sound so this extra work is worth it for me.
@@dronechaserzl1 gotcha thanks , i have my mid cats removed but i still want a little more sound, we’ll see how it sounds lol worse case scenario i put my npp muffler back on
I listened to the MBRP, Corsa, Borla, AWE and many others but I liked the PLM best. That’s why they make so many different exhausts… it’s to please everyone’s ear.👍
@@donnieb1991 yes, even more so now. It took a while to get used to the super in cabin drone on upshifts but I’m definitely in race car mode now. I gotta tell ya the main reason I went with this extra loud exhaust is because I couldn’t hear when to manually shift the car at The Tail of The Dragon event this past June. I will be able to hear it next May when I go back and I will be leading a group of aggressive Camaro drivers at that event.😎👌

Yes, it deletes that function and just gives you a bracket to keep actuators mounted and plugged in to also keep warning lights off.
Vader’s sounding wicked, Mark! Love it…nice job!
Thanks buddy! 💥👊😝

It’s all 304 stainless and hard af! I had to trim a little and it was extremely hard even with a cut off disc. 😅

The problem is: PLM gives info T304 only for the 4 tips.

Would love to hear the sound in cabin and outside well. Looking forward to the next video. Thank you!

Nice.. im considering this for my zl1 ..You have any driving videos ? Any unpleasant drone with the resonators?
