what car you driving ? I got an A5 2010 with the ugly steer wheel, and getting same look steer wheel u got there from A3 sline 2017 . all wil fit people say all buttons wil work only not the nav button. So what did u edit then for the steer ? and what didnt work ?

I Just fitted my RS7 wheel today (onto my A7). Was way easier than I expected and cost £10 in tools. All buttons and paddle gears work as normal. If anyone in the UK needs one removing/fitting then give me a shout 🤙

I’m trying to fit a C7 steering wheel to my C6. All connected and working, but when I clip in the airbag, the horn sounds as soon as I turn the ignition on. Any ideas?
@@hugoperry3226 did you disconnect ur battery
@@PO1S0N-1 sorted now, the cables just needed tidying behind the airbag so that they didn’t get in the way of the horn springs. Also when you push in the airbag, it can take a few attempts to get the horn springs seated in the correct place. Last mistake I made, turning the ignition on when the airbag wasn’t connected properly, it throws up an airbag light and the only way to remove it is by connecting the airbag properly and clearing the code with an OBD after. Just gotta try avoid turning on the ignition unless you’re fairly sure the airbag is connected properly. Yep did it all with battery disconnected.

Question please mate: an Audi A5 tsi 3.2 2008 without the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. If i just buy a steering wheel with paddle shifters and replace the old steering wheel without them, it will work or do i need to upgrade the system to make the shifters to work? Thanks.
You can most likely just code in the paddle shifters with VCDS.

Hey mate did you get an answer to this? You have to cut out the plastic in the yellow connector in order for it to fit the socket on the wheel.
you forget something, if you remove the airbag from the steering wheel you must first turn off the battery! the chance is small but it can explode.

No module was changed
No module change required. I just did mine (upgraded to RS7 multifunction) and it worked absolutely fine. Had to cut away the outer part for the yellow connector but other than that it was an easy compatible fit. And the lights work fine. 🤙
